“I pad for express24 delivery at 14:38, 5th April 2023, so the recipient should received it sometime on 6th March 2023. Their website also states guaranteed I day delivered. I tracked the parcel on 6th March 2023 and it stated it was still at the depot. I contacted their customer services and was told it would not be delivered until Tuesday 11th 2023, so rather than 24 hours, over 100. If you pay for a guaranteed 24 hour delivery, that is what you are supposed to get. The person on their helpdesk, was very unhelpful, I though a help desk is to do what it says "help". As Parcel Force have broken the law (Consumer Rights Act 2015, Fraud Act 2005), I have informed them by way of the CEO's of both Royal Mail (ceo.office@royalmail.com), Parcel Force (aaron.r.barnes@royalmail.com) and Parcel Force's customer service director, (susan.howlett@royalmail.com), that I am taking legal action against them. If they brought something with a 12 month guarantee and the supplier did not honour it, what would they do? Unlike most if someone kicks me, I kick them back.”
“No average delivery time 3 attempted deliverys and not once was it left in my safe place or postoffice joke working people can't sit at home and wait for post 9 hours a day”
“I was expecting a delivery on the afternoon of 3/4/2023 by Parcelforce and remained at home to receive it.
Whilst at home I received a text message from Parcelforce stating they attempted to make the delivery but were unable to do so as nobody was at home and that the driver left a card at my house indicating how to arrange re delivery etc.
Firstly nobody from Parcelforce visited my home and no card had been left.
Through their telephone automated service I have arranged for the parcel to be delivered to a local post office this Wednesday 5/4/2023… we shall see how that progresses.
The information In Parcelforces text to me about a driver attempting to make a delivery and leaving a card is a blatant falsehood.
Out of curiosity I decided to research reviews on Parcelforce and there is a wealth of evidence provided by people that paints a picture of a woeful incompetent business. It is apparent from the reviews and my own experience that they engage in being dishonest with customers and treat them with contempt.
My advice to any business is to reflect seriously about using Parcelforce to make your deliveries and to any individual making a purchase to enquire from who is supplying them who they will be using to deliver your parcel.
If it’s Parcelforce think again.
Sorry to say I don’t have single positive thing to say about them.”
“Not a service I enjoy unfortunately the seller used parcelforce it’s a pain as they drive off if not in all other delivery firms would of left it in enclosed porch website didn’t give me a safe place choice so bad for environment and I went to collect it and it shuts at 14:00 dose not open early either so two trips not impressed with the service I would of expected from this company.”
“1 star because there is no zero.
Was expecting a parcel , at home was tracking. Suddenly message delivery attempted , not at home. Was at home,no attempt. Also have a concierge who accepts parcel if could not be delivered. Have done this before for Christmas parcel which was not delivered in time. Hope businesses look at the reviews and use reliable trustworthy alternative couriers.”
“Horrible. Nobody rang the bell and no postal card has been left. Now my delivery is at the PO but is have no card to take it out. You're a low pathetic company and nobody should ever use your services again”
“Don't waste your time using this company, customer service doesn't exists, rude and ignorant people can't even provide simple document, takes me two months to communicate with this company as I mentioned they just ignore you! And after all this time my matter is still not resolved.”
“You claim you tried to deliver a parcel to me on the 21, while I was at home working ALL DAY, you claim you left a card which is a lie, it is impossible to speak to anyone and I do not know what happen to my parcel. Aren't you embarrassed of the way you conduct your business???? Terrible service, non-existent customer service, I am beyond upset”
“WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!
I mailed a parcel of personal belongings to my husband who is a British citizen and was working in the UK. The package arrived on 30/1/2023. After several weeks and a long search of the location, I found that the package was being held in customs. No one from the UK ever attempted to contact myself or my husband. All communication was from me sending constant inquiries. I was told via email that I would have to complete a customs declaration form, which I had already done and was attached to the package. I have copies of everything that was sent with the package. That fact was ignored, then I was told I would have to fill out a permanent residence form in order to not pay duty tax. Due to the fact that I would only be living there for a short period of time and not permanently, my attorney advised me to not sign any legal documents. I then asked for the package to be sent back to the sender, which is myself on 13/3/2023. It has now been over a month since I made
the request, and I was informed today that the package was shipped on 2/3/2023, which is a lie. On your website is clearly shows it has not been shipped. USPS has no record of the package after it was delivered on 2/23/2023. I have been going back and forth with Lynda B. Not only was she attempting to force me to sign legal documents, she is now lying about the whereabouts of this package. Per my attorney, I can be in the UK for up to six months and not have to pay duty tax for mine or my husbands personal belongings. I have been to the UK many times with the same exact items that I sent in the package and never had to pay duty tax. It's no different than bringing the same items in a suitcase. I still have no answers to the whereabouts of the package and it has been well over a month since I was told it would be sent back to the US. This has been a horrific experience, not to mention unprofessional. WHERE IS MY PACKAGE? I have also asked to be connected with a supervisor and the
request has again been ignored. I am happy to forward all correspondence from myself and Lynda B. Again she was not helpful at all.
As you can see in the screenshots submitted, they lie about packages being returned. Over a month now and ParcelForce has yet to give me a solid answer. The second screenshot was the response I received after filing a complaint. It's a pre-written response and they are too lazy to even fill in the information.”
“I was emailed with a delivery for yesterday without a two hour slot, assuming that all day would be convenient! Didn't even knock. Card didn't state time of call but advised I drive 38 miles to collect a packet that fitted letterbox. Went online but typed and spoken tracking number was not recognised. Used post code to request next day delivery. This was confirmed. No delivery. When I now checked tracking, the depot noted at 22.35 last night that the item was prepared for delivery. By 9.11 today it said that I was informed to collect from depot, totally ignoring my online contact. If you're looking for trouble then Parcelfarce are for you.”
“They are terrible. They do not knock or ring the bell just leave a we missed you card. I paid for next day I had to chase the van to get my delivery and when I asked him when he was planning to deliver the parcel he said a day or two later even.”
“Three times in three weeks the same driver has lied about trying to deliver Parcels to me. On Monday he was due to pick up a parcel from me. At 4;21 he said he’d tried but no answer. I was tracking him on the app, he was 10 miles away. I had to take it to the depot.
On Thursday the same driver reported he couldn’t find the address. Didn’t he claim he’d, been here on Monday? Checked the app and he was 8 miles away parked in a lay-by. So another lie.
Spoke to customer services and they apologised and said they’d get the manager to phone. You guessed it, no call. Proberly couldn’t locate a phone.
Still haven’t got delivery and I’ll wait until it is returned to sender and get a refund.
Avoid Parcelforce if you can, and particularly the Coventry depot.”
“They should be ashamed. We believe they never even attempted to deliver as we never received a "we missed you card". They didn't even bother to send it to the local post office when I arranged it online.”
“Yet another 1 star review.
I was told the parcel would come today at a time I could not be here. I was given the option of having it delivered to a neighbour. I wanted to tell them to leave it at the porters' lodge (plenty of people in London live in blocks with a porters' lodge) but that's not an option. So I tried "leave with a neighbour". assuming that would then tell ask me which neighbour and I could explain I wanted it to go to the porters' lodge but, no! It didn't want to know which neighbour. Goodness me, doesn't it occur to them that some neighbours might be more friendly/reliable than others? A good hour on the phone (they make it VERY difficult to talk to anyone) and someone agreed to text the deliverer But it didn't do any good. I was told I could leave feedback but I wouldn't actually be allowed to say anything - just answer whatever questions they wanted to ask - so I didn't bother. I don't think they're interested. Why do companies use Parcelforce?”
“I would happily spend days telling people to avoid this dire company with dire service! Always late, unreliable! Beyond bad, I'm not going to order from a shoo cos they use you! Still waiting on parcel supposed to be delivered last Thursday!! 0/10”
“Held my parcel for 3 months, never sent me a letter or contacted me to inform of customs charges due, damaged my parcel and it was returned to sender. Now it's lost. £100 worth of goods. Now it's 'out of their hands' and they won't reimburse me. Parcel force more like parcel fools. I will go out of my way to avoid using their 'service' at all costs in the future.”
“Don't bother making a claim, practically everything is excluded (read the small print) and the chance of you being re-imbursed after your parcel has been given a good kicking is practically zero as I've found from experience on two occasions”
“booked parcel force delivery for a 20kg parcel, said there was a local post office drop off point but when walking over there I was informed it was shut.
Went the next day and was told by another staff member that they wouldn’t take my parcel. Even after explaining the situation and why I wasn’t told the previous day they made excuses and argued with me instead of being helpful or offering a solution. 2nd time I had to carry a heavy box home when I suffer with asthma.
If post office and parcel force read this review please update your opening hours and state whether a drop off point has restrictions like a certain size parcel! Give training to staff so they don’t waste your time, or offer solutions rather than headaches and potential collapse from lack of oxygen after lugging a heavy parcel home twice.
I know I won’t be using or recommending Royal Mail or Parcel force.”
