“I've been forced to use this terrible company on a couple of occasions and found them to be a nightmare to deal with. Pricing seemed arbitrary. Communication was dire. They made the whole process intolerable from start to finish. Never again!”
“Still waiting. Their website tracking that they send you by email is meaningless. Stated parcel was still at depot and not in transit when they tried to deliver first time. I therefore assumed I could go out as package wasn't in transit. Got back hoema fter 30mins. They had miraculalously travelled 50miles from Gatwick to Eastbourne and missed me. No attempt to give to neighbour. I phone them and they try to contact driver but say they cant but tell me parcel will be after 1pm next day. I leave work early next day to get home at 12.50pm. Low and behold they been at 12.10 and again no attempt to leave with my neighbour. I am waiting in until 6 now as they say driver will come back. I am not holding up hope. They also wont drop an 8kg parcel; at the post office. I thought they were part of the post office.! Any way my summary of them is the worst inflexible poorest service I have ever encountered and I will be leaving another review when they dont come back later and I have never left a bad review for a courier before. The poor mans service at Hermes are 20 times better. Never had a problem with them and they always leave at a neighbour rather than travelling an extra 200miles pointlessly ferrying my parcel around.”
“Expected a parcel on 6/02/17 from my dying auntie in Australia. courior driver put a card through letterbox requesting that I go to post office and collect it.(AND PAY AN EXTRA £1 FEE even though it was already payed for to be delivered to my door!!).This driver NEVER even chapped the door or left the item with a neighbour. He was spotted jumping in his van and speeding off.I phoned them up and my parcel was promised to be delivered the next day (today 07/02/17) between 08:30 - 17:00.Anyway.... Still not arrived and it is now 9pm!.No phonecalls or anything from the company to update me.DISGUSTING service!! Please keep back from this curior service.I have informed my local newspaper also who are interested in story. How can a company do this to a dying person and thier family. VERY POOR!!!”
“Ordered a collection which was given any time Tuesday, left a note and there was no attempt to collect the parcel at all. Won't use again. Awful service!!”
“On the 30/09/2016 I have sent a Parcel with a 19th centurian vintage cast iron Singer sewing machine inside it; to my parents in Hungary using
Parcelforce's Globalpriority service. I have insured the parcel for a 100 Pounds.
It arrived to their address on the morning of 11/10/2016 (almost 12 days later.) The parcel itself had a gaping hole on it; and the sewing machine (that was made out of thick cast iron) was shattered into several small pieces.(Some of the pieces were actually missing.)
So I have phoned their customer services; and I was told to register my claim online, because that is only way how I can register my claim. So I have registered my claim online on the 20/10/2016. Soon after my parents recieved a letter with a 4 or 5 page questionaire to be filled out, and sent back to them in 30 days. They had to upload pics showing the condition of the parcel and the shattered machine.
A few days after they did all that; I recieved this:
The claim has been rejected as the item is an antique over 100 years old.
This cannot be claimed with us and you can view this on our exclusion list here and a link.
I apologise for any inconvenience caused.
So they destroyed completely, a nice old Scottish made Singer worth a 150-200 Pounds. They also destroyed my present to my parents. Before I sent the machine I did inform the Post Office staff member what exactly the content of parcel was. They let me insure an item that was an "antique over 100 years old".
Parcelforce also charged me for the delivery and the insurance a total of 78 Pounds.
End of Story.
Ever since I have only used UPS. They are faster, cheaper, and they are totally reliable.”
“Everything, from lying (i have CCTV evidence to prove the driver did not drop the parcel at my property TWICE) to being rude; by the end of it i had to take time out of my work to go and collect it. There are so many great companies please stop supporting Parcel Force, they deserve to go bankrupt and be bought out by a competent competitor.”
“On 14 Dec my parent posted a box full of Christmas gifts to us in the UK. It has never arrived.
After phoning around I was informed that the parcel was destroyed by Parcelforce. No reason, no phone call to even let us know its been destroyed.. No one came in contact with us to let us know this is the case. How can you just destroy people's parcels without contacting them?? This was Christmas Gifts and we never received it. That ruined Christmas for us all.
I wanted to escalate this matter and asked to speak to someone in a managers role. No one ever contacted me back or even said sorry. This is a horrible company.”
“Waited all morning for my parcel then got a text saying failed delivery attempt. I was home! No one rang doorbell or left a card. After speaking to ParcelFARCE on the phone I got another text with a delivery window for the afternoon. Waited in all afternoon and - you guessed it! - no delivery. Still trying to sort this out. Will never shop with a retailer who delivers via ParcelFARCE again.”
“Bunch of thieves never to send a parcel or even a letter through them; Their insurance policy and their terms and conditions has been settled just to rip off people.
I have sent an item worth £400 using their services and I insured the item through them. The item has been lost and their insurance didn't pay.
I do not recommend them to anybody. Bunch of thieves and I can describe their services as sucks.”

Parcelforce you have just lost your self a paying customer”
“I was supposed to have my parcel delivered today on their 24 hour service which obviously didn't arrive. I received the text this morning to say it was on it's way & checking the tracking number I could see it was on the van to be delivered. On phoning customer service I was told the driver had left at 10.45am & returned to the depot at 4.45pm without attempting to deliver the parcel. What a hopeless bunch of part time *****! On googling Parcelforce I was horrified to see just how useless they are as a delivery company. I've emailed the supplier of my order to suggest he uses DPD from now on as he's wasting his money using what has to be one of the shoddiest services I've ever come across...& I thought Yodel were bad!!”
“Abysmal. Collection not made on scheduled day, no response to emails and telephone calls. Collection day rescheduled but failed again. Message back that driver attended was an outright lie. Rang complaints number only to have rude assistant saying there was nothing further to be done. Told that I couldn't take the matter any further and refused to give a supervisor's number.
Shambolic, rude, unhelpful and dishonest.
And no delivery.
J.B. 19/01/2017”
“Parcelforce didn't send me my customs letter for us to pay it, therefore they assumed i had declined the parcel. F****** disgrace. I then rang up customer service and he claimed you could pay it online without your referance number found on the letter. Either that nonce was lying or their website was. Now i have o wait another 2 months for my parcel. Parcelforce succ me.”
“I received only a part of my parcel, the driver said that I would receive the other part next day, however it's supposed to only one parcel, I think they separated it.
Now a week later nobody knows where my parcel is (big baby travel system)... very disappointed!”
“My parcel seems to be lost and neither Parcelforce nor my local delivery office as well as local post office don't seem to know where it is. The funny thing is I' ve got an email from the company I've ordered my item that it was attempted to be delivered, but nobody bothered to leave a note. It took me a whole afternoon of running around London to discover that the parcel is lost.”
“Absolute rubbish. Did not deliver on day agreed, and no communication whatever. Then attempted to deliver at a time I told them I would not be in. Still waiting. With today's mobile technology the lack of any communication from them is unacceptable. They really are very poor and don't even seem to care. Why are they still in business?”
“I waited in all day for a parcel to arrive and guess what no parcel. I phoned the delivery office and was told the it had gone back to the depot goodness knows why. I was supposed to get phone call to tell me why which was ignored. I got angry will try again tomorrow to find out the reason why.”
“I was supposed to receive a parcel on the 3rd of January but it didn't happen. I decided to check the parcel status on the website and I discovered that the parcel has been delivered the 3rd of January and signed by someone else !!! How is that possible ???
Then, few days after, I called the customer service and in the meantime sent a request by email. The customer service told me that they will contact the driver to find out more and then call me back within 48 hours. I didn't get any feedbacks.
Today I called again and I'm supposed to get an update within the next 48 hours.
Today we are on the 12th of January and I still don't know what happened with my parcel. That is totally unacceptable and unprofessional.”
“I now understand why they are called PARCELFARCE . . . .
My parcel was four days late & Parcelforce said they tried to deliver to me on two separate days and the driver had posted a card through my door.
However, I was at home on both days and there was no card through my door at any time.
It's just lies, lies and more lies because they cannot be bothered to deliver a parcel to me.
I spoke to the company who sent my parcel and they said they constantly receive complaints about PARCELFARCE.
Every other parcel delivery company out there is better than PARCELFARCE.”
