“After buying a car and taking it home from peter vardy in seafeild road in Edinburgh, i noticed a huge chip in the windscreen, drivers door lock modulator broken and 2 slices in the sidewall in 2 diferent tyres without ANY advisories on the MOT. Anyway contacted them about these faults and was asked to fix windscreen and they would reimburse me, 2 weeks still waiting. I was then asked to take the car into the dalgety bay branch, which i did and i must say the guys there were sound and i had to take a day off work. Anyway the repairs have not been done yet and iwas told that the guys in seafeild road have not ok'd the work needing done. Everytime i phone i get fobbed off. The car will be back in the forecourt by wednesday!”
“Been in for two services and the car purchase and pick up.
Car purchase went ok although I was left sitting for around 40 mins when picking up my new car.
The first service was good with good communication and car was ready at a reasonable time.
The second service was awful, car dropped off first thing but heard nothing until I received video at 2pm and missed call not long after that. Tried returning the call twice times but reception just put me through to a phone that Rang out. Advised car ready at 16:30 (whole day for a service).
After turning up around 16:50 to collect car I was left waiting in cafe area for around 25 minutes, no refreshment was offered. When the service advisor finally turned up I was told there was a software update that I would have to bring my car back in for that could have been done but I never answered her call. When informed that I called back several times I was informed she was busy today but no apology.
Absolutely nothing special about this garage, whilst they are not terrible there is nothing to recommend the place either.”
“My initial contact was made with Salesman David Hughes. He was very professional and talked me through the options available. Gary Scroggie assisted in the completion of the deal (both guys staying later than their normal finishing time). There was a problem occurred when transferring my original vehicle from another branch but contact was made by Laura and some options were made available to me. I decided to wait on a 15 reg car now as the 1st March was getting ever nearer. I thought I had a problem as my trade in car MOT expired prior to that date however I was offered a courtesy car to get me from the Tuesday through to the midnight handover on the Saturday night.
At the handover event everything was dealt with in a fantastic carnival but professional manner. I was shown the controls in my new car and David Hughes did a great job of getting my new car at the front of the convoy for driving away at midnight. The event itself was great too with food and drinks and a magician mixing with all the customers doing card tricks and showing how some of them were done. I met with Peter Vardy which is a decent touch. Also during the event when I had finished a cup of coffee I was returning my cup only to be met by Scott Brown (floor manager I think) who politely took the cup from me to save me the trouble. Another nice touch.
So overall I can only say that it was a 10 out of 10 experience and I would recommend Peter Vardy Motherwell to anyone.

“From the moment I stepped into the front door of the Motherwell store, I was greeted by friendly faces, who let me look around with out being harassed and left me until I was ready to be approached, I was introduced to Robbie my sales man, Robbie is fantastic he spoke to me in length about the car I was interested in to ensure it was the best choice for me, and when it came to financing he and Scott did a great job at costing the car I wanted to the budget I had in mind!... Which I was speechless about and can't be more thankful for, Within 2 days I had proudly purchased my first brand new car, and in 8 days I was driving it out the showroom, the hand over team Jason and Kelly I can't thank enough also, very informative and friendly In regards to the documentation for my new car and trading in my old, and going through my new car explaining all the gadgets, the flowers and bubbles were a lovely personal touch, I cannot express how slick the operation was and how professional the team are. Preparation of the car prior to collection and after sales support could have been better.
Car was nice and shiny BUT green mould on window rubbers could have been treated. The date and time on the clock was way out and I found a supermarket receipt from Bolton dated 2013 under front seat.
You sent me down the road facing a 1 hr drive with no spare wheel or inflation kit - WHICH IS WHY MY OVERALL RATING IS POOR. I've heard nothing since about the promised inflation kit. I don't need it now because I've bought a spare - but you don't know that !
Finally got the MOT certificate 2 weeks after collecting the car and after 2 attempts to chase it up.”
