Call out was good to organise and engineer turned up in time slot given, unfortunately he did not call our office while on site as requested and left paperwork on site which caused us problems with our client. Had this not happened we would have given 5 stars.

The engineer that came out was faultless. He was early, polite, cheerful & knowledgeable. A credit to the company he works for. Plumbingforce as a company is not so great. My appt was initially booked for Saturday 8am-12pm. When no one arrived at 12pm, I called the agency who said the engineer was delayed & will arrive 1pm - 4pm. When no one arrived at 3pm, I called for an update only to be told that I will not get an engineer that day & that I would have to wait until Monday to get my shower fixed. Plumbingforce charge extortionate prices because they can. People need their showers & most will pay to get the problem resolved. As mentioned, the engineer that eventually arrived was great (Daniel). He was extremely helpful & efficient & definitely knew his trade. However, I should have received a refund or at the very least, a discount for being inconvenienced. I could have arranged for another company to do the job during the time I waited (& probably for less money). Plumbingforce did not even offer a sincere apology.

Engineer fast and efficient. What a gentleman. However customer service lady (Holly) is argumentative, attitudinal and extremely rude. Will look elsewhere next time.

Two calls. First call arrived on time, was pleasant and helped fix a boiler, thank you. Second appointment scheduled for a bank holiday to plumb in a new cooker, at their request I rescheduled for the following morning, received a call saying they're running late so for their convenience I rescheduled again for the afternoon and nobody arrived. Disappointed. I like them, their work is good, I am disappointed at being let down 3 times on the bounce re the cooker when they already have my deposit and thus I cannot call another company.

Prompt service and clear explanation but I was over charged on spares to the point it was embarrassing for your engineer

I called at 14:00 for a heating engineer to come and sort out my heating that was not working. The web site says that someone will be with you between 1-3 hours, the engineer eventually arrived at 18:45hrs who had travelled from his last job which was Twickenham, I was in Milton Keynes. Give the engineer his due, he found the problem fairly quickly but did not have the part on his van. Due to the weekend upon us the engineer kept to his word and came first thing on Monday. His working ethic was great and his work was clean and tidy. He didn't try and spend more than necessary doing the job, mind you he did have to travel to Slough for his next job.

I found the call ladies very curt and a little bit of sympathy would not have gone amiss. The total cost of the repair to my boiler was over £500, £200 of which was labour. It took the engineer well over 4 hours to reach me despite being called after 3 hours to say he would be with me shortly. This left no time for him to obtain the spare part as the suppliers were closed by then so it went onto the next day. I could not fault Dan Symes the engineer who carried out the job most efficiently

The engeneer who called on 5/4 was excellent and rates 5 star. Unfortunatelly, the receptionist's attitude rates 2 stars. Having moved house I have had a stream of services helping me transform the new house to my liking, some of whom were excellent and a few poor but every receptionist has been good except this one. I asked for my Boilermate to be serviced explaining that it was not an urgent job. I was offered a slot the following morning between 8 am and 12 noon and told that I would receive half an hour notice before an engeener would call. At 11.35 I telephoned to express my concern that nobody had called so far and was told by the receptionist that she would investigate. At exactly 12 noon she telephoned to tell me that the engeneer has been delayed and will not be calling. There was no apology, or any expression of the regret for the inconvenience caused. I pointed out that I did not blame her for the no show which I understood but that I did not understand why I was not told of this when it became obvious that the visit will not be made. Her response was " I am telling you now", that is at the very end of the booked session and after I enquired, all in a terse manner! All she wanted to do was to terminate the conversation. Against my better judgement I booked again for another day at the same time but told her that should this happen again I will be cancelleing the arrangement. At 11 am she called me to tell me that the engineer will not be calling, again without any apologgy or regret but offered to extend the booking to the afternoon session, which I took with the understanding that should this happen again she will be cancelling my arrangement with the firm. When the engineer was leaving I remarked that now that I have signed the work I presumed that the cost will be taken out of my account which he confirmed. When I checked my bank statement it turns out that the cost was taken out at the time of my booking the call out- 4 days before anyone called let alone done the job. I will not be using ,out of choice, this firm again.

I called Plumbing Force when my usual boiler man was unavailable and it was an emergency as the boiler had broken down in a rented property and the tenant needed it fixed quickly. Unfortunately they had booked me an hour slot between 11-2 but after a couple of calls of chasing when it was getting nearer the time of my slot to end they came back to me to say that they would not be able to attend the property. The engineer turned up the next day at 8.45 am. I was told that the engineer would call me about 1/2 an hour before he got to the property as I had explained to the person who answered the phone that this was a rented property and I would only be a couple of minutes drive away. Unfortunately, the engineer was not told he had to do this and called me whilst he was standing outside the property. I had assumed that the engineers would automatically call when they were en route as part of the service. The engineer was great. Very polite, knew his stuff and explained to me the problem and how to deal with it in the future or what to look out for if it happened again. Although I was a little unhappy that the promise of having an engineer the same day was not kept and there was a lack of communication between the engineer and head office I was very happy with the service I received and would use Plumbing Force again. I would have given the engineer five stars for his service.

The problem was with the ignition for the fire place. Now we can lit up the fireplace using a match instead of the original spark. Problem solve for the moment but not fixed completely which would have been to replace the ignition. They don't bring spare parts (even a small part like the ignition) to replace the faulty one saying that they would have to come back another time and charge extra. ????? I paid £120+vat to clean the ignition. I find it unfair and costly.

I found a combi boiler cheaper when I challenged company sales dept I was fob off. Saying I needed challenged price match before installation. But only 2days between order and installation. Price match con. Engineer who fitted boiler absolutely brill. Top man.
