“It's heartbreaking what Premier Property Lawyers are doing to buyers and sellers. They're an awful company that overpromises with lies. Once you're in - they'll take weeks to respond to simple emails, are never available on the phone and end up making endless mistakes.
Chains are breaking purely down to PPL being wretchedly awful. I wanted to believe the 5* reviews but they simply are not true, based on all the 1* reviews, I strongly believe they're fake. PPL have massive operational problems and cannot cope in this market, as a result people are losing their dream homes and now unable to find a new home due to the mortgage rate rises. PPL are failing their customers every step of the way.
This company does not have any human beings who understand what to do, the sheer incompetence is baffling. We had an unchained sale, they promised 8 week turnaround with both buyer and seller represented, what an absolute mistake.
We quickly realised they aren't actually solicitors, instead 1 solicitor might oversee 70+ cases at once meaning the day to day work is done by case handlers who have no authority and have no idea what they're doing. This means that PPL ask relentless rounds of pointless enquiries, digging into way too much detail which means they often end up confusing themselves.
Currently PPL have been digging into enquiries for 8 months and they still can't manage to close them down. Despite demanding for them to be closed due due to a looming mortgage offer expiry - they're just ignoring all requests. With both a buyer and seller begging and demanding to close down pointless enquiries, PPL take it upon themselves to then continue asking relentless questions.
Often when enquiries have been shut down, PPL then want proof of every email which is complete overkill.
I've never known a company so incompetent, they simply do not care if your mortgage is about to expire, or if you're about to be made homeless - it makes no sense because in the time it takes them to do a simple sale, the operational strain on them must be huge. You'd think they'd want to get things over and done with quickly but there's no rush whatsoever with them.
Whenever you ring up - the staff are incredibly rude, when you try and escalate the people just laugh on the phone while you're at despair due to a collapsing sale solely caused by their awful slow service.
Please - get a competent solicitor and do not hire this unqualified company. They should be shut down, they're unethical and people are losing homes because of this awful company.”
“Would seriously give this company 0 stars ' they messed up my husbands sale and let people move in without him getting the money In his bank ! They have now taken over 8 months with my property ' my buyer is using them and she has had no luck with them! They are constantly ignoring my solicitors emails ' we should have exchanged 2 weeks ago and they are now asking more questions ' why not ask them all at the same time ' my health has worsened with the stress this company is putting us through ! 8 months and there's no chain ' it's appalling and they truly don't care ' the lack of communication is abhorrent .
I have had to get the management team from the estate agents to intervene due to the time scale and the way this has been handled! We are all tearing our hair out !!

“If i could give no stars, i would. Was held up with their Cyber attack last november, so went somewhere else and finished my purchase. During the time that they were involved in my sale and purchase, they achieved absolutely nothing. However, despite telling them that i have already completed and moved in on several occasions, i am still getting texts and emails saying that my eway portal requires new information. PRobably the worst company i have ever dealt with.”
“Do not be tempted to use these people. They will take your money and you won’t hear from them again. Absolutely disgraceful service. This lot was recommended by our mortgage broker (who earns a fee for the referral)…. Premier Property Lawyers do not respond to emails, do not take or respond to calls and will certainly put your transaction at risk. 6 months after appointing them, they have still not made any progress towards exchange of contracts or completion despite chasing them daily. Totally useless. They should have their licence revoked. I will be referring to the ombudsman as my purchase is about to fail because of their total lack of professionalism and empathy. PPL have been managing my buyers end of the sale for 8 months now, over 6 months of relentless enquiries, most of which completely pointless. Just as we close them all down, PPL start asking more and opening up new ones that should have been asked months ago.
PPL have caused months of delays due to their awful wretched company and their terrible processes. My buyer's mortgage expires in 4 weeks, PPL do not care and are not listening to him to hurry up and get on with it. He's proposing completion dates and PPL just simply ignore him.
Never, ever use this company. I cannot fathom any of the 5* reviews and strongly believe they're fake or ill-informed reviews. All the 1* reviews on here are incredibly realistic and I relate to all the problems very much.”

Only 1 day before my sale they advised changes to a transfer document was needed which they had recieved from us 3 weeks prior. Failed to take appropriate action when it was required and lef to delays. Constantly make excuses, to cover their mistakes.

Our case handler also lied to me at times to hide her incompetence. The buyer's solicitor even had to ask our case handler to start reading their emails properly, when after 3 months PPL had managed to respond to about 10 enquires. I had to do the entire work myself and after all this immense stress they sent us an email telling us that they won't represent us anymore because they can't do us justice! Shocking and every so stressful being dropped mid transaction. Don't use them!”

“PPL are being used by our buyers. They've been horrendously slow. Their IT system has wasted 3 weeks by not actually sending anything. Our chain is now 2 weeks away from collapsing and it's still takes them 5 days to review trivial enquiries - some of which they can Google themselves.
We're likely to lose our dream house and no longer be able to move because of them. Hopefully they pick this up and then care enough to get it over the line, but I doubt it.
It's a closed chain above and our house is a 4 year old new build. How can it take 16 weeks and still not be ready?!”

“I'm so glad I sacked PPL. Strike had referred both my buyer and me to them and sold the service as super quick compared to other firms, would be easy and done within 8 weeks. Total lies and deceit and really disappointed in Strike for referring us to PPL.
PPL when they were my solicitors were totally incompetent, going away for weeks at a time on annual leave with no handover, delays, leaving email chains going dead for ages. Never available on the phone, you get put through to admin receptionists who are incredibly rude and have no idea about your case. I couldn't get any form of intelligent answer or update from PPL.
The 5* reviews are absolutely baffling because they're a total contrast to the reality of all the 1* reviews - I resonate so much with all the 1* reviews that I read - it's incredibly stressful, the service is awful and PPL fundamentally have a huge operational problem.
Thankfully I saw sense and sacked my PPL 'conveyancer' (not a qualified solicitor) - and went with a proper solicitors local to me - best decision ever. We still had to work with the seller however and their PPL conveyancer. They're asking round after round of pointless enquiries, providing no help or protection to the buyer, their demands are just unbelievable and my professional new solicitor with 25 years of experience has commented how unbelievably incompetent PPL are and showing their lack of knowledge and expertise.
PPL are just incapable of processing basic information, their internal processes and tickbox exercise cause complete strain and stress.
To sum this up - I sold my property in February, it's now October and we'll still here. The whole sale was unchained, mortgage secured ages ago - the delays are purely down to PPL's incompetence and slowness to be able to progress anything.
They're genuinely an awful company to work with, if I had used a proper solicitor from the start, and the buyer too we would have completed months ago. I would say about 4 - 5 months out of the 8 month sale is down to PPL delaying and wasting time, with about 3 months of actual normal progress.
Please - never use this company, I've reported them to watchdog because their lies and deceit to get you in are not ethical, they're an awful company with awful service and the leadership should all be sacked running a company like this.
Seriously - if I ever see anybody in my property chains again has PPL I'll be swiftly leaving that chain. I read so many reviews about PPL holding up entire chains for pointless enquiries and delays.
