They may be OK as selling agents, but as letting agents they are absolutely usless. They know nothing about property management, and in the end you have to do everything yourself, while they carry on taking money. We've sacked them now.

Please stay away from this broker, I had a lot of faith in the company but they have disappointed me and my friends. They held a total of 113,000 btc and 600 eth. That's a lot you don't have heart and plan to block me, Scam. No trust, by then i went online because i was so worried looking for a lot of way to to solve the problem that i am going true, that was when i saw a review about a woman Sandra Ava, he connected me to a recovery company EMAIL :: ( m o r r i s m e i h u a (@) g m a i l . c o m ) the process was easy and stressful, this is a review that will help to know what you should do immediately whenever you are being scammed, i have actually lost a lot of my money to this company honestly but To God be the Glory I got it back. All thanks to "" Mrs, Morris Meihua"" you can also contact them If you are having problems with any broker which you are invested on or any website, I promise you they are going to try their best to help you out. If it were at all possible to give zero or, to more accurately describe our experience as buyers, it would be a solid -10 or more. From the very beginning purple bricks did everything imaginable to delay the start of the process. Our refusal to use their Ap on the grounds that we didn’t want our information shared was the blue touch paper to a five week delay and refusal to accept, despite evidence from our banks, solicitors etc, that we were who we said we were. Ironically for a digital service they wanted proof in person! As bas was the lifetime legal organisation. They confirmed our credentials and ‘welcomed’ us as ‘members’ before deciding to reject our credentials than approve than reject etc etc. Incidentally, we didn’t want to be members, never asked to be members, and certainly did not want any of the services or costs thrown our way any more than the unsolicited phone calls asking for our personal details, passport, bank details etc. When, after five weeks from us putting in an offer they decided to release the property for sale, both we and the sellers were so dumbfounded, perplexed and angry the congratulation email that we can now start our ‘journey’ was beyond satire, as was the allocation of a dedicated purple bricks minion to support us through said journey, which we declined. A word to the wise both potential sellers and purchasers, avoid this company at all costs they are bloody awful and make an already stressful situation far, far worse.

I travelled over 2 hours for this viewing and paid 15pounds for the train, for the agent to not show up. I was left waiting in heavy rain for 30mins and the only way i managed to get through their customer service was pretending I was making an offer on a house.

Purplebricks took £80 of our money in order to check that we weren’t distant relations of Pablo Escobar only to then inform us that we had been gazumped. Avoid this amoral company like the plague.

As a buyer my experience with this company is dreadful. I would never again consider a property if it’s being sold by PB. Sellers need to be aware that agents don’t turn up for viewings and/or cancel at the last minute, have no knowledge of the property and appear disinterested about encouraging a sale. Also it’s impossible to speak to the person at the call centre dealing with the sale, you’re repeatedly told they’ll ring you, which they never do. I made an offer online, which put me through to the seller so PB don’t act as a normal estate agent for negotiations. From a buyers perspective it’s more difficult if you’re dealing directly with the seller, particularly if there are some issues with the property requiring works as you don’t want to appear rude about it. Then obviously the next issue is you’ve no idea if the seller is telling the truth about other viewings/offers regarding other prospective purchasers in an attempt to get you to raise your offer. In all honesty it’s not worth the hassle from a buyers perspective, which sellers also need to take note as you’re reducing the number of potential buyers if people avoid a property if it’s being sold with PB. I have withdrawn my offer due to the appalling customer service. Far better to use a local estate agent with a physical office who is easy to contact by phone. Dreadful company.

Terrible experience with Daniel Edwards Made my life a misery for a week. Harassing and bullying me via email for documents that I explained I didn’t have as I’m an executor. I was buying a property not selling. But he made it so difficult for me and the seller Horrible.

I sold my property, accepted an offer earlier this year. Had trouble with the solicitor they recommend. PM Law. Please do not use. Terrible. Then I get an email to advise my credit agreement has come to an end. I didn't sign a credit agreement and the sales man didn't advise I would be chased. Completion is delayed due to boundary issues. I don't have £2k to pay and the company dougli won't contact purple bricks. They won't speak to my solicitor. Multiple emails with terrible communication and no actual help from purple bricks. I really thought this company could help me sell smoothly. Its been hard especially as I'm selling to break free from domestic abuse situation. Completion shouldn't be far off. Be nice to actually get someone who speaks English when answering the phone to help. Instead of reading a script back to you. None of these companies talk to each other bit all want money. Money for what??

We were charged an additional £550 for 'Agent accompanies viewings'. He didn't even have a key. This was difficult to find as they would not provide a breakdown of charges until I put in a complaint. This company is not trustworthy and have underhand practices.

Absolute disgrace. Only under offer now as after nearly two years I requested to deal with the next buyer personally, such has been the horror story that has ensued, and without their interference… Low and behold I received an offer… but even now at the eleventh hour, despite them confirming management packs are included in the conveyancing quote, now they’re saying they’ve made the error will not pay it… horrendous and despicable throughout… toe-curling-ly bad, world class sale prevention specialists …

One of the worst organization. They don't have customer centric mindset and speak very rudely with clients. If you want to withdraw your request, they will take months to process the refund and they don't respond to your emails or calls.

We have these in our chain and it has been a nightmare, miscommunication, costly delays in process. The rest of the chain has been ready for over 4 weeks. If you have this company in your chain, it would save time and money to pull out. Avoid at all costs.

Don't instruct this company. They are abysmal. They will also promise you the earth and do nothing to sell your property. I lost 10 months when my property was on the market with them during which time property prices went down and the market flattened out so also lost thousands. Strangely when I disinstructed them they were very quick to send their account and then put slimy debt collectors onto me. PLEASE DO NOT INSTRUCT THEM OR BE TAKEN IN BY THEIR ADVERTISING RUBBISH - YOU WILL REGRET IT BITTERLY.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. I listed my property with Purplebricks and paid £900 to do so. After 4 months I had to de-list and write off the £900 cost due to the following reasons. 1. There is virtually no method of trying to communicate with potential buyers. You have to send ‘Messages’ through their app, which no one has and the only notification they get of a message is an email which goes straight into their junk file. For viewings I had to make a 3+ hour plus journey each way, which I was happy to do hence me signing up, but the inability to contact people to confirm viewings and ask simple questions led to a huge amount of stress, inconvenience and wasted time. 2. When messages hadn’t even been delivered to buyers and I was unsure if viewings were taking place, I had to phone purple bricks to ask if they could get in contact with the buyers. I was always met with conflicting help with this, with some people phoning buyers for me and others (mainly my account manager) saying there was nothing they could do and it was my responsibility to get in contact with them. Which obviously I had been trying to do but Purple bricks gives you no functioning method of doing so!!! 3. When I had my valuation the picture was falsely given, all sunshine and roses. From the minute I went live and spoke with my account manager Mark Simms he told me what a terrible place the market was in and basically that there was little hope of selling. I have no idea what his job actually is other than being negative and unhelpful. 4. Their written advert was useless, it didn’t highlight any of the best selling features or key info, and I ended up writing it myself and sending to my account manager. 5. The photography photos were awful and didn’t include a photo of the flats own front door, a main selling feature. 6. The map location on the advert was also incorrect, also showing the wrong public transport. This was at the start of it being advertised and hence it could have generated the most interest. 7. For Sale sign was never put up. All aspects of the service were incredibly poor and a total waste of my money. I have now listed with an actual estate agent!

Poor customer service. Always you have to dial a standard number and have to wait for ages to talk to them. They don't care to respond to your email/phone call requests.

Really poor service from Purplebricks.... they don't return your calls, they don't reply to emails, you can't get hold of the individuals allocated to your sale. I found Purplebricks to be a shambles and have submitted a formal complaint about my experience. They are a waste of money and caused me personally a considerable amount of stress due to their incompetence. No where near good enough!
