complete waste of time and money. Purchased a hotel stay for 2 for parents last xmas and every experience and stay requires you to pay a HUGE additional fee. completely worthless and pointless customer service. Avoid this at all costs.

Family spent £350 on vouchers for Golden Wedding Gift. Vouchers not recognised despite official gift box receipts etc. Got cut off when git to number one in queue to ask for help. Had waited 45 mins. DO NOT WASTE ANY MONEY ON THIS COMPANY PLEASE.

DO NOTpurchase any products from this company! I placed an order before 4:00 pm on 17/04/23 and paid £8.50 extra postage for next day delivery. Order not arrived and it appears that it has not yet been dispatched. There is no way to contact anyone, the online chat is of no use whatsoever, appalling customer service. You will end up pulling your hair out with frustration trying to get some help, it’s non-existent. My order was meant as a gift and it’s now too late as the recipients birthday is today! I want a refund but it seems unlikely that I will have any luck. Anyone out there with any suggestions as to how I can hold this company to account and retrieve my money? Any help would be appreciated.

What a rubbish company, will never use again and will tell everyone I know not to ever use this useless company. Costumer service is non existent What a waste of £250 😡

I have a voucher that won’t activate and can’t get to speak to anyone. It was for a special birthday and upsetting I can’t seem to use it. I have double double checked the ref and pin code.

Short version - 'Triple supercar blast' bought for Christmas 2021 and spa day experience 2022. Chosen location Bovington, Dorset as other locations too far away. Eventually found out Bovington not open (army back log due to covid),, no information forthcoming from Red Letter Days, I had to find out what was going on myself. Red Letter did extend voucher which was good and raised it's value. I exchanged spa day for go ape experience for my youngest grandson, as spa day no good. Result - They 'lost' go ape experience and no refund for supercar blast. There's very poor customer service, no phoneline, only online support chat which is woefully inadequate and contradictory information. Have found a very positive experience with 'Car chase heroes' for my other grandson's racing experience but as I can't get refund, am stuck with 'Red Letter Days' for myself unless I want to lose more money. Company's too big, takes your money, end off! I have no confidence that my experience, if it ever goes ahead will be okay.

Tried to book my special meal at least 2 weeks before the expiry date. Discovered that the lunch experience was no longer available. There was no alternative that I didn't have to pay extra for (the experience was a present) and more maddening no means of contacting anyone remotely human at the company to rectify the problem. The live chat was impossible to find and go into. In other words the friend who bought the experience has been done out of payment made in good faith. If a company can't provide an effective means of communication with potential customers instead of written text suggestions that still fail to allow people to contact with their issues- it isn't fit for purpose.

Complaint regarding one of the hotels on their site available still to book through their vouchers poor excuses and the issue not resolved and still offering this awful hotel ti unsuspecting customers

Just an update...4 days on from contacting red letter days, still no response...read the reviews before parting with your hard earned money and make an informed choice..buy a gift instead ...

Just left a review and thought I would have a look at other reviews, all automated responses with vague replies to let our team know etc etc...if your experience goes according to plan its great...if it doesn't you've had it I'm afraid.

I’ve been trying to contact red letter day. There is no live chat. There was no answer when I telephoned as phone no longer in use If anyone has any idea how to get and answer to a simple question that is not on the standard list please tell me

Would give 0 stars but it's not an option. Booked an experience gift, relative went to book the day, told it no longer available & to pick something else. Picked something else, had to pay extra, then a family crisis prevented relative from being able to attend. Useless Red Letter Days said they couldn't cancel the booking or give a refund! The whole thing is a big scam. We're out of pocket with no experience. Red Letter should be exposed for the scam artists they are. Would NEVER use them again! And it's lazy that all their responses to complaints all read the same - bog standard waffle & NO customer care

Absolutely dreadful we can’t book our day on a train for no reason ! so changed it to stay in a hut . Now can’t book that ! What is going on . No one to chat to anywhere ! Absolutely rip off ! 100’s of pounds

Horrible and upsetting. Bought as a gift for a gift for my daughter and her husband - they had such bad issues trying to book. I am embarrassed - it was supposed to be a treat not a nightmare. I tried to book for her and three of the hotels didn’t even know they are advertised as being with Red Letter and don’t take the voucher! Avoid avoid I will NEVER use again

Bought a voucher for spa day with afternoon tea, couldn't find a spa day experience where you could have afternoon tea onsite. They wanted to make a separate afternoon tea reservation somewhere a close to the spa!! Never had a spa day where you have needed to get dressed and go offsite for refreshments but ok. Paid to upgrade the package in hope of finding something suitable, after being on a call with operator for 90 minutes he agreed the package sold wasn't really what was available and agreed to provide a refund within 10 days. 2 months and 5 contacts later I am still waiting for a refund.

We booked one of the better driving experience for a friends 50th, one of the reasons we used Red letter days was the advertised cash back with with Top cash back, when after purchasing I looked on me Top cashback account and it said Red letter days had declined the payment £20, its not a big deal, just a bit disappointing, I'll use virgin next time.

It’s a booking nightmare to use the voucher. I have £30 left over I had to book a Travelodge to stay near the restaurant.
