“Initially positive experience, ease of ordering and pleasant helpful delivery drivers. The problem came after putting the beds together and finding that the mattresses are essentially student bed-sit junk, after having paid for the premium option of the "pocket sprung" mattresses. They are lumpy and so soft that sitting on the bed as a 72kg adult, the mattress flattens completely with no rebound, and I practically sink into it when lying down. Certainly not meeting the expectations of a company called "reinforced beds" and indicating that the mattresses are suitable for 2x 25 stone sleepers and are of "medium to firm" firmness. Contacted customer services to be told essentially "now you have opened it, tough". Product not as described or fit for purpose, no offer of any reconciliation from the company, computer says no attitude. I asked for a partial refund on extra cost of the mattresses, pretty fair for both parties I thought. No, no movement, I'm stuck with their full price junk. This is an example of a review that didn't need to be written, and could have been avoided with some modicum or gesture of actual customer service.”
“Purchased a bed from this company in 2024 years later the sides are warped it creeks very unhappy unfortunately the company although polite are unwilling to rectify the issues only offer a replacement at a 20% discount suffice to say I will not be buying from this company ever again”
“Ordered a bed, the box was ripped opened and cellotaped up again. There was no instructions or fitments, no screws or bolts!! Contacted you and you said you were going to send them out on express delivery, we didn't receive them until a week later after ringing several times. When we got the bolts we noticed they were posted second class, we ask to send them express!! Also no instructions. No apologise, would never recommend...”
“My son is quite a large chap so we bought him one of their 'heavy duty' bed frame and mattress. We had it delivered in the new year and by March the mattress material had started to split across it. I contacted the company who sent an 'engineer' to have a look at it who said that they had never seen a fault like it before and that it must be due to 'misuse'! My son is 25, single and lives at home - what do they think he will do to 'misuse' it! I contacted the company on several occasions, even quoting my Consumer Rights. They refused to give me another mattress or a refund but did offer to sell me a new one for 20% less!! I would never ever recommend this company to anyone!”
