“The hotel we booked was like arriving in the horror movie The Shining
There was only one receptionist and a few people cleaning.
No restaurant or cafeteria was open for us to have refreshments after a very long journey.
It's a ghost hotel with no guests and most floors closed.
This is meant to be a 5* hotel!!!!
We left immediately and are now fighting to get a refund and to take them off their website to spare others that might book it.
They just closed our investigation, took our money and ran.
They should defend the customer”
“Booked 2 nights through Reservation Stays at WorldQuest Orlando Resort. It's the most disgusting hotel room we've ever encountered, but b/c we checked in late, we had to stay in our room for the night. The next morning, we found poop stains on 2 of our 4 shower towels. By 6:30 in the morning, we were packed up and checked out. B/c we booked through Reservation Stays, the hotel could not accommodate us with the refund. Upon calling Reservation Stays and explaining what happened, they stated that they're not responsible for hotel conditions and that they would not refund us. So now I'm disputing the charges through American Express. Don't ever use Reservation Stays!!! And like so many others have stated, customer service is horrible.”

I've booked a double room in a hotel through Reservation Stays, HUGE MISTAKE.
The hotel got a reservation for a single room and refused to respect a double room voucher from Reservation Stays.
I tried to correspond via email and they "closed the inquiry" on me.
Tried to call them but the phone number they send in their emails is incorrect, I assume that they intentionally publish a wrong number.
When reached them through the phone published on their website, they disconnected the call 3 times. When finally succeeded to talk with a support representative, they recognized their mistake but couldn't agree with the hotel to transfer me to a double room. Said that they will refund me but just now seen the refund amount and it's not what they promised so now I need to open a PayPal claim with them and loose time and energy again.
Don't come near this company if you value your time and energy!”
“Page location put them immediately below my preferred hotel so, in a rush I dialed them thinking I was calling my hotel's 800 number—my mistake. After stumbling through an awkward conversation with an agent who barely knew his job, I was needlessly booked in an ADA room. Good thing I called my hotel directly to fix that but I missed out on club points because I used these idiots.”
“Do not use this company; they are overpriced, and the customer service is terrible. All I needed from them was a confirmation via email, or on the receipt, that my invoice was in USD. Completely impossible for them to do. Told that they couldn't send emails; told that the manager would get back to me via email about my concern. Additionally, the booking process was very difficult.”
“Worst vacation experience ever. Booked at a Quality inn, checked in and the place is sketchy. My wife doesn’t feel safe, people hanging around the room right outside her door. She asks management for a refund and because reservation stays does not give refunds we have to pay for a whole new hotel without a refund. I will never use this site again and suggest you avoid it like a disease. No refunds and customer service is in India and they cannot help you.”
“Upon requesting a reservation, my account was immediately charged $559.95 on August 8, 2022. There were no options to choose to pay later or at the hotel. Upon checking out of the hotel, the final receipt totaled $416.26, a difference of $143.69. Reservationstays.com refused to provide a refund of any kind and would not provide a contact number for a supervisor or corporate headquarters. This is fraud and price gouging, not to mention very poor customer service. If you make reservations, do so directly through the hotel where you would like to stay.”

“Do not use this company, their website will refresh and cause your dates to reset from what you had selected to the current date. If you don’t notice the change and make the booking you are immediately too close to your check-in date to change it. This company uses a shoddy website to steal money from customers. They don’t offer prices any lower than any other competitor. Do yourself a favor and find a more reputable site.”
“Reserved a room Cambria Hotel Pittsburg-Downtown so we could attend a concert next door to the hotel. My reservation said I must cancel by Oct. 3, 2022 but the concert was not canceled until Oct. 4, 2022. I was told that I would not receive any refund since I did not cancel by October 3, 2022. Never again book with reservationstay.com.”
“We were booking a room with Marriott in Ontario and after hitting "enter" we received our confirmation and noticed an error on the arrival date. We called Marriott immediately to change the date and we were told that we had been routed to a third party (Reservation Stay) and they could not make a change. We 100% thought we were booking directly with Marriott but somehow we ended up with the third party. BEWARE1 We contacted Reservation Stays and they refused to change the date. We did not want to cancel the reservation only correct the date. They are trying to SCAM us out of $330.00! FRAUD FRAUD! BEWARE!”
“The intent was to reserve a room directly with Ramada Helena MT and somehow reservationstays got in the middle of the reservation and it was actually made through them. The hotel had to cancel the reservation as it came through wrong. The hotel cancelled the reservation and said that should be all to get us the refund. Reservationstays demanded an email from the hotel, which was nonstandard, and the hotel did not comply. Reservationstays just kept our money.”
“Very deceptive. I thought I was booking through Hyatt. I went to Hyatt.com and somehow was redirected to this Reservations Stays without knowing it. Only found out when I needed to cancel the reservation because of Covid and called the hotel directly. Of course, I had to dig for a customer service number and when I found it, they have a recording saying they are closed. Terrible way to do business. I'm attempting to dispute the charge with my bank.”
“Ms. Kaybin Williams X0503 stated that a shuttle bus would be available to take you to and from the nearest beach, the nearest beach was Miami South. This statement was not true, we had to paid $45.00 to the beach and $45.00 from the beach, $90.00 per day. Plus, has to return from the trip a day earlier due to one of the kids getting sick and has to be put into the hospital over night as well. They will tell you anything to get your money, its best to do your reservation directly with the hotel itself.”
“Do Not book through this company they are a very dishonest company. I booked 2 queen bed with suite and paid $256 but when I called the hotel they said they have a room with just 1 bed which would have costed me $118. So I called them to fix the problem they would just hang up the phone on me so save yourself the headache and do not book through this company. Book directly through Hilton I did not realize that I book through 3rd party until I called the hotel directly. This company is defrauding people”
“DO NOT book with reservation stays. Impossible to contact a live person. When you try to contact this company by phone regarding your reservation, it tells you to enter your PIN that is supposed to be at top of your confirmation. There is NO PIN so you can’t get past recording on phone.”
“If I could give 0 stars I would!!! I booked for Tennessee and they had me staying in Missouri. I drove 7 hours and don't have a hotel....OH THEN THEY SAY NO REFUND!!! THE DRVIL IS A LIE! I CALLED MY BANK IMMEDIATELY! Sent my confirmation email to the wrong g address them sent it as I was on the phone with them!!! Where is the Better Business Bureau when I need them DO not use them please!!”
