I have a faucet manufactured and sold by RONA, which supposedly comes with a lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, it's now dripping, so I reached out to RONA for replacement parts. I don't have the original receipt or paperwork, as I never anticipated needing them based on my positive past experiences with other brands like MOEN. After spending an entire afternoon trying to identify the model through pictures on their website, I was told they couldn’t help me without proof of purchase. This makes no sense to me. The faucet is installed in my bathroom, in the home I've owned for 23 years. What other kind of proof do they need? Do they think it’s stolen? This type of customer service is baffling. When I had a similar issue with a MOEN faucet, they replaced the entire unit without any hassle—just a phone call and a picture, and they even covered the shipping. To say I’m disappointed with RONA’s customer service would be an understatement. Lesson learned: I'll stick with reputable brands like MOEN and Danze in the future. The customer service rep was just voicing the company policy.

Ordered bookcase on line measuring was wrong immediately tried to cancel Emails, phone calls chats unsuccessful keep being told they had to get in touch with third party. Phoned the local, Kelowna, store order was cancelled and email confirmation. One day later item delivered was refused and still waiting to be refunded. My suggestion go local and do not rely on Rona customer service on line their main objective is to patronize customer but do nothing.

I went to the Calgary Forest Lawn store today for some plumbing supplies. I was lucky enough to find Thomas to help me with what I was looking for. Thomas was friendly, knowledgeable, and knew where to find the solution for me. I really hope he gets a commendation, he truly deserves it! A+!!

I am a subcontractor and shopped at Lowe's for a long time and never had a problem on till now since they changed over.I always buy different things and see which one works best and I return the ones that I did not use. Sometimes I lose the recipe and normally they check the card u used and you get your refund. Now if you don't have your receipt they scan your items and make sure it's their product and they give you a store credit only for less than you paid I was told it was about $1 less on every item.So I am going to drive the extra 5 or 10 minutes to HOME DEPOT where I know I will get my money back even with out my recipe because they look up the items and card that was used and refund with no problems.

I recently visited Rona-Plus in the south-end of Barrie looking for window blinds and related advice on the same. We were ever so pleased talking to a very knowledgeable, friendly and ever so helpful employee named Debbie to answer any questions or concerns we did have. She even clarified for me what measurements I needed and custom cut the blinds to my requirement. I have done the installation now and am very happy with the results. Thanks Debbie

I was returning a packaging tape that I purchased yesterday at Rona ,Vancouver Grandview 83704, I explained to the customer service that the tape is defective and they tried to see themselves if true. They were talking to each other which I believe they are Indian nationality in their language and again talking in their language they approach another employee and started talking in their language, finally they approached the manager and he said can’t accept the return because it was opened. Obviously it is open, how will I found out that it’s defective when I intended to use it . It only means Rona can’t stand on what it sells to customers. Let your employers speak the right language and not talk in their native Language specially they call themselves costumer service . So disappointed and have no plan on buying from your store again.

It’s a waste of time and energy to shop at the crowfoot location . Poor customer service, poor knowledge of product. Total waste of time. I do not recommend spending your money at Rona.

I went shopping at Rona’s in Ancaster last week and Anibal who is a Dpt. Manager assisted me. I really did not know what I went in for but Anibal’s product knowledge and his helpfulness in answering all my questions was great. I ended up purchasing a few things that were suggested by Anibal that day. Kudo’s to Rona for having employees on board that are professional and helpful to us the customers. I have done other reviews for Rona as well because i feel that if a Customer Service Rona Employee goes over and beyond what their job description entails, then Rona should be notified about the performance of this employee. I feel confident about shopping at Rona for all my needs, and would recommend Anibal to all of Rona’s shoppers. Sincerely, Carmela

Burlington (Harrison crescent) Was spoken to INCREDIBLY rudely by a lady named Shelley at the paint desk. I’ve NEVER been spoken to like this by anyone in my life, very interrogative, argumentative, rude, and embarrassed me in front of other customers. She needs to be written up and fired. Straight up.

Ordered a $4500 solarium from Rona. Was delivered damaged. Requested two parts to be shipped to replace the damaged. Multiple emails and phone calls To find out when I will get the parts. Their response is when they know they will tell me. two months now, and I am still waiting For them to provide shipping information. They refuse to allow me to speak to a manager, total incompetence on the part of customer service. they try blaming the manufacture shipping the parts, but I called them and they shipped the parts the next business day. So I’m pretty sure that Rona had done nothing and was lying. extremely bad Customer service I will not order online from Rona again and I suggest you do the same.

Well to start off I will just say that I wrote a review on their website about an online order and their customer service. They didn't like the review and would not publish it because it didn't meet their website guidelines. Here was the review I tried to post: This review is for the customer service that I received since I never received the product. Worst customer service ever. I ordered the product in May and i never recieved the order. I still haven't received my money back. It is now mid July. I have been asking for the money back for 2 months. Every time I call I get a different answer from them. Don't bother ordering anything online from Rona. I ordered the same product from home depot and got it in 2 days..... I never though I would be censored by rona.

Absolute worst customer service ever. I purchased an Uberhaus shower faucet a few years ago and at the time this was branded as their faucets. Paid $700 on sale and am now unable to attain parts for it and Rona is of absolutely no help at all. Also, their after purchase customer support is horrible. You call a call-centre in India and absolutely no one there wants to help you either. I even called their head office and left a message for the Sr VP of Marketing and Customer Service, Catherine and of course she never got back to me either so HONESTLY WHY WOULD I BE SUPRISED THAT THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SO HORRIBLE!!!

Staff in paint Dept has no idea what to do. Did not even know what a liter can was. I walked out not buying the 3 cans that I went in for. I could not trust that the colors would be correct. Langley needs better management.

This is the worst big box store chain. One cashier and self checkout doesn’t work for sales items. Ridiculous customer service. Everything in garden centre is 50% off but no cashier in that department to cash out.Terrible management and planning. As a result the line to pay is 30 minutes long. Not to mention the wait time to get a manager to come and do the price override. What a joke. I can see why Rona will never measure up to the Home Depot.

Recently, I bought some circuit breakers at Rona. However, one of them was defective. Today, I went to the store to request a refund, but the staff told me that these items cannot be returned, even if they are faulty. I was not informed of this policy at the time of purchase, and there was no notice on the receipt either. I find this very unreasonable. I bought same item at homedepot.ca , can easily refund at no reason ask, The Rona, bad customer service.
