worst appliance delivery service ever had in our life, fake promise , literally on phone for hours for 2 hours on hold and then hangup, zero follow up.

2 weeks ago It seems that their young staff specially the young girls and their supervisor miss getting trained on the proper customer service.. They never smile or greet you. Never ask them for help cause this will change their mood...you feel like they are not getting paid to work. Anyways I don't recommend st catharines store..less varieties and worst customer service ever. And don't forget there will be no return after 4 pm or you get a hard time from them!!!

I ordered a gazebo from Rona at the Blythwood Road London Ontario location. Since it was an online order, I picked it up via curbside pickup. I got to the store @ 3:20pm I called the number to say that I was there to pickup the item,I waited until 4pm and had to call them again and say that I was still waiting in parking spot #9 and they said sorry that they were still working on getting it . I waited again until 4:40 after I watch two gentleman trying to put what looked like a rather large box into someones vehicle that just pulled up 5 minutes before. I had to call again and was told that they would be out as soon as they found another person to help lift it. This time they came out 5 minutes later without the proper tools to take off the brackets holding the box together. ( which took approximately 20 minutes ) By the time I got my item, it was 5:30.It took over two hours to get my gazebo and I was not impressed! I will think hard about buying anything from Rona again online after this experience. Turns out, the gentlemen were trying to put my item in someone elses vehicle. We are not impressed since they should be asking for proof of purchase.

Do not order from Rona online ever! Ordered a washer and dryer on offer was waiting 2 months with no contact. Every call to customer service resulted in at least 1 hour wait. Finally told it would be another 2 months. Customer service rude and unhelpful. Demanded a refund-never even apologized. Worse than any customer service I’ve dealt with including phone companies. Stay away for your own sanity!

The stores are OK, when you can select the exact item you want but if you order for delivery, that is where things fall apart. It seems that they do not ship from a central warehouse, but outsource the order to a random local store and depend on them to complete the order. I ordered a number of things not in stock in my local store, I wanted a box of 25 Carriage bolts for a project. Most items arrived poorly packaged and crushed, but there were no carriage bolts, instead I got a box of 25 Lag screws, of no use to me. The packing slip said carriage bolts, but that was not what they shipped from the Gatineau store. It has been 3 weeks and all I get is excuses, and someone will call, which they don't. I don't need a conversation, I need what I ordered. I am planning on phoning the credit card company and request that they deny payment, at least for the value of the missing bolts. I shall go somewhere else for the bolts that I need.

We had the most amazing service this evening. All three employees that helped us during the course of our visit were so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Great representation of the company.

I must write this review about three employees at Rona in Barrie. Holger went above and beyond the call of duty to get my order delivered to me asap. He was very diligent, polite and most helpful to get the job done. Excellent customer service and satisfaction. Dave and Ben were my delivery guys. They were so polite, helpful and went above and beyond the call of duty to deliver my item with no glitches. They demonstrated great customer service and satisfaction. Rona should be proud to have these employees on staff. Thank you, Liz Wright

I can't believe this company still exist when you receive a so bad services. I bought something in May and as soon received I knew it was not going to work. The description on the site was wrong. I sent an email to receive a label to return the product. After a month I received an answer back (ok it is COVID) but the answer didn't make sense with my situation. I wrote right away to let them know. After 2 weeks without an answer, I call to explain my situation. Well they closed my file. I had to open another one on line. Once done I contacted customer services again. She was suppose to call me back the same day. I never received a call. I had to call myself again. Finally they found a way to send my a label by email. @ weeks after, still no label received. I had to call back again. I received the label. 2 weeks after that I sent the packages and the tracking number was showing that my item was received for 14 days ago but still no refund...I had to call back. The men told me to he was going to call me back in 2 days. Surprise, no call again. I had to call back again...and 4 months later I believed I will received my refund. I can't believe that Rona had my money for 4 months!!! Awful experience....

I bought a portable air conditioner 12000 BTU to use in the living. Despite the fact that the label stated 12000 BTU is idea for 500 sq2.ft room , it takes forever for the room to get cool during peak hours. It liked I didn’t use an air conditioner at all, so I went to Rona to ask to exchange for higher BTU air conditioner in hope the new one would work more better. The customer service staff told me air conditioners are finally sale, and can’t be exchanged or refunded. I felt shocked. I was not informed about it upon my purchase. Or else I would never have bought it. I’ve been shopping at many warehouses and had never encountered any like this. It likes they don’t care what you’ve got. You pay the money and that’s final. It’s very unprofessional and unsupportive. I have no confidence to suggest anyone to shop here, me myself it would be the last time I shopped there.

I paid the full price of essential appliences (laundry set) two months ago but still i have not received them. They dont even give me a date for delivery. The customer service do not pick up the calls. Completely dissatisfied.

Terrible store will not shop there again. Customer service was rude. Manager was a useless dumb f**k. Okay Ill take my $1200 elsewhere. Store stock is completely inacurate online.

I order a BOSCH! dishwasher and it was confirmed to come. The day BEFORE! >:( it came they called us and said that it had to be delayed (after we asked someone to install it )

I would give Rona a -5 stars if possible. Three times my family has tried to order something on line and three times they have cancelled my order after a couple of weeks. This company is unable to deliver what they say the sell. To top it off, after they cancel your order they send you an email and advise you it is still available to order, what a joke, stay clear of this company, stick to someone reliable like Amazon.

Misinformation + disorganization + poor customer service = Total frustration I ordered a Dock Edge + Folding Dock Ladder. It was supposed to be in-stock. After noticing it had not been shipped after a week, I checked and found that it was no longer in stock. I cancelled order immediately. A week after the cancellation, I got email informing me that the order Ladder is ready to be shipped. I called customer service and waited for 45 minutes to speak to someone. I told his that please do not ship the ladder, I have cancelled it. I was told not to worry. The refund would arrive the next day. A week and half after that, the ladder that I have cancelled and was told not to worry about, was delivered to my house. I refused the delivery. It has been four weeks since I cancelled my order, I still have not received my refund, which was guaranteed within 5 business days. I called twice, waited about 30 minutes each time and was hanged up once, and was told someone else would call me back the second time.

I ordered a hammock stand back in late March, and it has yet to arrive. I have called customer service three times and emailed four times now. Every time I called they told me the item had to be located so they they knew I actually hadn’t received it, then they would refund my money. First they told me to wait a few days. Then it was ‘by July 21st regardless of whether we’ve located the item or not you’ll be refunded’. Well, no refund and it’s July 25th. Not pleased with my customer service experience. At all.

I just wanted to say thank you to the Rona employees Adrian and Sharon at the West Hunt club location in Ottawa Canada. I needed a sander badly and were out of stock but the two helped me find one in the country and I received it in 3 days! Every time I go to this location I get great service and and I actually go out of my way to go because of that. Thank you

RONA is a lousy store to buy from. Appliances ? NEVER. I am one of the thousands of unfortunate ones who bought a warranty to the appliances. Am waiting since May 2020 till today Jul 25 for a technician to come and attend the issue. If you call RONA, the standard answer is "our warranty dept is outsourced hence call them" . Well I paid to RONA and the experience is extreemly poor. BAD. BAD. VERY BAD.

Never purchase appliance in RONA. they will charge you25% when you want to cancel order even if not delivered. The appliance not delivered yet but they said already delivered. Poor management! Placed order on July1, not received refund or not received delivery today July22.

It seem that they are fast selling their product like appliances but poor in service. The product you buy you buy will stay at your home for 3 weeks waiting to be installed by their unreliable technicians
