“Looks great however instructions were for left hand ladder which made assembly much more difficult and took longer. Please update instructions!”

“Initially, I wasn't entirely sure about the product; however, after bearing with it, I now understand its design and size. The firmness is there for a good reason and prevents an unsupported posture. This could be explained a bit more as some reviewers have mentioned the firmness as a negative. After a week's use during the hot spell, I am more than happy with it.”

“Great product, shame it’s not as white as the picture shows, parts could do with numbering/letters and instructions if you decide to have the ladder on the opposite side. Good friendly service on delivery”

Thank you for your comments, we will pass these on to the factory regarding numbering parts. The Thuka Hit has a whitewash finish rather than a solid white finish, allowing the characteristics of the solid wood to show through. Best wishes RTG

“Nothing but problems from start to finish. Bed delivered 15th July but was damaged, so phoned same day to request a replacement. Second bed arrived 26th July but was faulty! The holes/screws weren’t compatible. Third delivery received 2nd August - but the wrong part had been sent. Telephoned again, to be told that although it was a different part to what we were told was coming it would fit. Anyway it did. We rung the company around 10 times - they never once rung us, the service and quality of the bed is poor. There is marks on the bed but after so much hassle we couldn’t cope ringing again. My little boy was without a bed for 3 weeks and I wasn’t prepared to let him be without one for another day. We spent a lot of money on this bed which I feel was a waste. Will never buy from them again.”

We are so sorry there was confusion with your bed. We have changed the factory of the Jubilee and you were accidentally sent 1 box from the old factory and 1 from the new which is why it didn't fit together. It was an error in the warehouse which has now been resolved. We are sorry we are let you down. Sincere apologies RTG

“Delivery seamless and good service. but the bed is a huge task to build, instructions say 2 x people and 2x hours, we are on our 3rd day of building at least 7hours in and no end in sight. Instructions are clear, just literally the amount of parts, screws etc. - endless! I hope it is worth the blisters!”

“I was initially quite frustrated when our bed wasn’t delivered when it was supposed to have been, but after contacting customer services I was very impressed. The lorry couldn’t get access to our road so the lady I spoke to arranged for the bed to be delivered by van the next day. Everything was sorted out very promptly and courteously and they even sent us a reading lamp for my son (the bed was for him) by way of apology. I felt like the customer service was above and beyond. Thank you. The bed itself is lovely, very easy to put together and very sturdy. My son loves his new bed and it’s made his new room complete. Thank you!”

“Happy with the product, good quality material but did not realise the poles don't come in half like a lot of other tepees .Box is so long I struggle to get it in my car for transporting to grandsons house.”

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately we wouldn't want to sacrifice the quality and rigidity of the teepee by having the poles split in half as they are solid wood. By removing from the packaging it may be easier to transport. Best wishes RTG

“Really substantial and attractive beds - perfect as singles and looking forward to having bunks when the grandsons grow. Not too long a wait for them and very impressed at how the company responded to our error in our mattresses’ order and re: delivery dates.”

“Easy to use website but issues with delivery have lead to a review that isn’t glowing. I was often told I would get a call back or a notification of something only to hear nothing. An incorrect mattress was delivered and it was beyond reasonable the timeframe in which to get the correct one sent out. Too much of my time was spent chasing someone else’s error. I think next time I would use a bigger supplier like John Lewis which is sad as I prefer to use smaller businesses but the customer service didn’t match on this occasion.”

We are sorry we let you down. We do use third party delivery teams and unfortunately we do not have access to their schedules so we are reliant on another company to book customer deliveries. The service should have been better when an incorrect item was delivered and we are investigating this with the delivery team. Even large companies like John Lewis use third party delivery companies for some of their furniture items and have the same supply chain issues.
