Ebay item sent 24hr tracked. Received text 19.35 day before (Thursday) stating parcel due Fri 20 Dec 2024 between 10.45am-2.45pm. Tracking details morning after stated - arrived in MCR at 6.54am, dispatched to local depot (Oldham), due 10.45 - 14.45. Waited in all day to receive delivery. Received another text at 14.43 stating parcel due today by 7.30pm!!!!!!!!!! Royal Mail don't deserve to be in business.....they've had enough time (YEARS!) and money, to develop tracking systems to compete with rival parcel companies like DPD/Amazon/Evri, who can pretty much pinpoint delivery windows and keep recipients adequately informed without any extra cost to customers. Third time this has happened in 12 months. Even worse when last delivery (like this one) is arranged for weekend and you have to wait till Monday (when you're back at work) - after organising deliveries the week before, for when you're going to be in!!!!*&^%^$£$@/!!!!!

No reliable tracking information, parcel that was supposed to be delivered 2 days ago is sitting in a warehouse. The service is horrendous. Not a single positive thing to say about them

Just hope that Daniel Krětenský can sort this shambles of a service out. Waited all day for free collection service only to receive this e-mail:- We’re sorry but we were unable to fulfil your collection request, order number CC-W307 What a shambles! What is the point in arranging another collection for them not to turn up? No wonder other postal and courier companies are excelling in this service

Suporting documents are important how can you lose them ?

Both 24 and 48 hour delivery are in no way gauranteed, you pay extra but can't claim anything if it's late and have to wait i believe 9 days after the delivery date to claim for it as lost, which is insane as you send it 24/48 because you want it there quickly. No doubt there is an * somewhere and some tiny fine print that says this so you have no recourse, absolute garbage and intentionally hidden from clear view. Don't use them they are getting worse or worse.

Clearly not kept up with the competition out there. Parcel miss delivered to Northallerton instead of Newton Aycliffe. Then my parcel has gone back to the Tyne-Mouth depo. Really rubbish service will try to avoid using them in future.

Even your complaints system is rubbish. 'Every item of Mail is important to us' you claim. Oh yeah? Your appalling service proves this too is fiction.

absolutely the very worst company i have ever known in my life ,parcels constantly late, loosing work because my stuff is not arriving on time ,lying customer services if you can eventually contact them ,smashed parcels ,says unable to deliver or pick up when its already been delivered or pickef up.you wouldnt mind so much if they took responsibilty for there massive mistakes and excuses ,we have now several migrant workers for postmen who cannot even find the correct adress, total shambles of a delivery company

Completely sick of the Royal Mail. We live down a track in Northern Ireland. Amazon and other companies regularly deliver to the door, but not the Royal Mail. Letters are posted into a neighbour's letterbox at the top of the lane, and three times in the last three weeks parcels have been dumped in all weathers on the grass verge. One of these had to be signed for and he got the neighbour to sign my wife's name. Not a word of apology when we went to the local depot to complain. Just the usual 'we'll look into it' response. Absolutely no pride in their work.

Lost a 200 pound item. Stolen apparently at their Cardiff office. Totally regret using them and won't try it again. Terrible service.

Royal Mail tracking, Royal Mail 48, who do you think you are kidding. The most used terms are ‘unable to confirm the status of your item’ or ‘1st or 2nd class item, untracked service’ why do you you bother giving a tracking number if your not going to bother tracking it? You should do what you are paid for instead of messing customers about. Re Nationalisation of the company would be the best option.
