“Paid for a letter at the post office containing important time sensitive documents to be delivered next day. They sent it via Evri who took 7 days to deliver it and the documents were no use. I complained to Royal Mail and they washed their hands of it as they said it was nothing to do with them. If I had known Evri was the courier I would have said no thanks. Really terrible service, absolutely pointless”
“We are moving home tomorrow and I would like to submit a review on behalf of our village postman Paul. Our postcode is MK44 2** Little Staughton.
In the eight years we have lived here Paul has been our postman.
In an age when people like to complain about so many things I would like to commend Paul for his punctual, cheerful and very helpful attitude and service.
From the quick chats, dog treats and helpful advice in addition to the normal mail service he has been exemplary and a fine representative for the Royal Mail. Well done Paul and thank you.

“You do your assessment on line and you get an email saying someone get higher score ,than later on they said your are shortlisted ,you go to interview They ask you 2 questions they don’t listen what are you saying was very clear that ,It’s all fake they are already employed someone internally,Stay away”

Absolutely shocking service. Paid an extortionate amount to send an important letter to the taxman. Royal Mail acknowledged receipt of the letter, and said they would contact me once delivery was attempted. 2 months have passed.....nothing! They have most kindly said I can claim back the cost of postage (though I may not receive that). So that's my tax rebate claim out the window. Several hundreds of pounds out of pocket, BUT! If my claim is successful I will get back the cost of postage. Whoopee! That's obviously a great win for me.... NOT!

“The delivery service is disgusting and unprofessional I order a package and they tried only one attempt and still waiting my package to be delivered since the 17th of June and no other option to recuperate the item.

“A signed for parcel was not delivered as the address on the front was incorrect. It was correct on the envelope, but a wrong digit was entered by the Post Office. It did not have a return address as I thought it being signed for, I could trust the service. Clearly I cannot AT ALL. The post office blames Royal Mail. The Royal Mail blames the Post Office. Even though there is a tracking number, the Royal Mail cannot now find the parcel as it is 'not tracked' just signed for. The customer operative was officious and completely unhelpful, just telling me it was my fault or the Post Office's fault. The Royal Mail has absolutely no clue about customer service. And the Post Office and Royal Mail should never be allowed to work with each other as they are HOPELESS.”

“If I could pick 0 stars I would. This is my fourth experience with Royal Mail and I am highly disappointed. I waited in all day for my parcel to arrive, as I’ve paid for next day delivery. And yet again it didn’t get delivered. To my annoyance I get a message at 11:00pm at night saying ‘attempted delivery’ when myself and my husband looked out all evening for the delivery man. I would avoid Royal Mail at all cost now.”
“Got a something for you card so requested my parcel be redelivered to my local post office.
Received an email to say they tried to post it again to my address the next day but because nobody was in returned it back to sender!!!!!

“I received two cards on the same day stating there was a fee to pay as the sender did not pay the full postage. Next day went to the collection point at 10.15am only to find they only open 8-10am and 4-6pm. There was no indication on the cards that the collection office only operated at certain times. One would expect it to be open during normal working hours. Totally wasted trip!
Then paid on line. However, the system doesn't allow you to put in a reference number so will be interesting to see if both items turn up!

“Tracked postage is pointless, items go missing all the time with no real update, and royal mail support can only advise to wait, which is not very reassuring especially if the item you have posted is valuable.
Another item I had was also damaged on arrival, please be careful when using Royal Mail as courier service, the regular mail postage has been great however.”
