Royal Mail tracking never works for me. Always says number not recognised or no notification until delivered which is NOT tracking.

Sent a parcel Recorded Delivery to Japan 2 weeks ago and when i track the item is still in LANGLEY and says "IN TRANSIT" with no other details meaning that my parcel is still in the UK for the past 2 weeks Disgusting service.

Told delivery today, wait in all day to be told got to wait in next day. But at work next so have to travel to pick up parcel after paying for next day delivery! Useless

I am absolutely disgusted with my recent service from Royal Mail. I sent a parcel on the 17th of September 2021 from UK to Ireland, I have been tracking the parcel everyday and all it keeps saying is that my parcel is at the Mail centre and this has been going on for14 day just stuck at the Mail centre, I called them and they said everything should be fine but still no change. Then the recipient for the parcel called also and all of a sudden Royal Mail informed them that I did not fill out a customs declaration form electronically (when I filled it out on paper) No one told me at all anything about filling out a customs declaration form electroically, which is unacceptable as of course I would have filled it out. They also informed her that they were retuning the parcel to me. They did even inform me of this and it is not shown anywhere on the tracking which I check everyday. Now the recipient has not got their parcel. I am very disappointed.

I set up and paid £56 for a mail redirection service. They took the money from my card/bank then I had a message saying my form needed amending somewhere AFTER my money was taken. I needed an item/serial number to reprocess, but of course, they hadn't sent me an item/serial number. There is no way of contacting anybody as the complaints robot keeps saying 'sorry, I don't understand'. I did find a number to ring online but this was almost £4 a minute. This is a scam! I have paid £56 for a service they haven't provided. Plus they aren't contactable about it! Shocking

I set up a po box and to have my mail redirected, not only did they not redirect my mail, they also kept me on hold for over an hour only to tell me to wait for a response from the complaints department. It's been over a week and still no reply. Beyond incompetent.

Royal mail tracking app along with the laughable service they provide is not fit for purpose.....I use the word service loosely..not worth saying anything else going by the rest of the reviews no one is listening any way

they just dont care, i guess since they don't have to and get paid regardless they had my orders many times in the past way overdue and if not for me making these a**holes check i would never receive my parcels which would be damaged usually never had good experiances with this industry! Easy job,... terrible service!

Advised by RM when parcel would be delivered. I went online and asked for my parcel to be left in a 'safe place'. 2 days in a row got a card through door saying delivery failed as I was not in. On the 3rd day phoned RM (over 40 minutes in queue). Got an apology that my instruction to leave parcel was not carried out and arranged redelivery of parcel. 3 days later still no parcel. Phoned RM again (over 30 minutes in queue) was told this would need to be investigated. Can't tell me when delivery will be made. Complaint being escalated. But now I've know confidence in RM.

I sent a parcel 2 weeks ago to my son in Germany and it hasn’t even left the UK yet.( It is not an area affected by July floods.) I am visiting my son in 3 weeks now and can’t seem to get the parcel back from the black hole it’s floating around in. What a disgraceful “service”.

Useless I am waiting for a redelivery of medical equipment. Postman delivered letters at 11am but no package.The original attempt to deliver the package occured last week when I was out. I have no idea at what time because no time was noted on the card nor was an item reference number noted. Complete waste of a day waiting for a "no show"

at the moment the post is not been delivered we have hade no post for weeks keep saying coved is the reason the post was poor be for coved now it a lot worse it about time some other company took over we need a service that's relabel

So RM has a 2% satisfaction rate from customers....I don't believe that bloated figure at all.... This useless shower has to be THE worst so called postal service ever....driven by greed and incompetence....do us all a favour RM....go bankrupt!

Terrible customer service. Ordered from Amazon on Saturday, should have been delivered by Royal Mail on the Monday, it was not Checked tracking and it had only made its way halfway and had been mis-sorted and was stuck 1 hour from where Iive. Customer services disinterested. Then it was sent back halfway across the country and is still there according to tracking. It is now Thursday and it is exactly where it started. Incompetence of a level I always thought impossible.

Royal mail has to be the most unreliable untrustworthy postal/delivery service in the UK , they try to avoid taking complaints so they don't use manpower on non productive issues , people should stop using them

Absolutely awful! I needed to take a covid test on the second day of my arrival, the postman rang to my door and before I opened it he was gone, I needed to chase him, he was unhelpful and rude. Finally, I managed to get my test but if I didn't I could have a serious problem. Never again.

Really angry that was delivered yesterday to HEREFORD 26.5 miles from delivery address in Worcester. Tracking gives no further information. Only this Sorry, no options are currently available for this parcel. USELESS........

Waiting all week for some expensive items to be delivered. Found out earlier that there has been no delivery to our area today and also that this is not an uncommon occurrence. Disgraceful!!

Royal Mail are appalling it’s true, but worse are the companies which still choose to use them when there are so many reliable alternatives available nowadays. Ultimately they are the ones who look bad when Royal Mail let them and the customer down! I have had several lost or late items which have ultimately been refunded to me, but that’s beside the point - my items didn’t arrive and therefore left me in a pickle! The worst incident was for my dads 70th birthday. I ordered party supplies 10days ahead of the party date. I paid first class with an arrival time of 3-5 working days. 7 days later they hadn’t arrived so on the Friday before the Sunday party the supply company mailed out (via special delivery guaranteed next day before 12pm), a second set of supplies. Guess what!? They didn’t arrive until the following Tuesday!!! It meant I had to do a last minute run around to find very sub standard party decs the day before the event…..absolutely terrible! I now make it a policy of mine NEVER to order with any company who uses Royal Mail! Not that they care lol
