I have been expecting a parcel for 6 days which has failed to materialise, its at Chelmsford MC according to tracking but not been sent on to Ipswich depot for delivery - Cant get them on phone, sent several E Mails and finally got reply giving no information on where that parcel is. In fact I have read reply twice and get the impression that they are apologising for a delay in delivery and that parcel had now been delivered - NOT SO I STILL DONT HAVE MY PARCEL!!!!!!!! Covid 19 or no Covid 19 their customer service is appalling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Royal mail has plenty of excuses no updates on parcel delivery. No communication with customer. If item is being marked as arrived that means it will arrive the next day.

Privatisation made easy money for the wealthy. This money was not used to upgrade a dated organisation. The Private Sector is unforgiving to companies that fail to move with the times. They go under, plain & simple. Why do we pay extra for "Signed For" items when in my case 10% of the time there is No delivery confirmation on the tracking system. Royal Mail are ripe to be replaced by a competitor... Pull your finger out RM, you are an essential service that is letting down the country.

When I see that something I ordered has been posted via Royal Mail, I breathe a sigh of annoyance that crescendos into an exclamation of an expletive. I can't help but contemplate what transgression I had committed to offend the seller so much that I was punished with them putting my item in the hands of Royal Mail. Then comes days of frustration climaxing in the receipt of my damaged package. At the time of writing, I still have more packages in hell (mail centres) including an 8 day old Royal Mail "1st class". The only redeeming factor about Royal Mail these days is at least they aren't Hermes, hence two stars and not one.

After posting an art commission to a friend over a week ago (intended as a Christmas gift) it has still not been delivered. I posted this first class and assumed it would be with him by now, and especially considering postage stamps are so expensive nowadays I am not best pleased. I understand covid is happening but as many people are saying on here, the website assures normal delivery times. Disappointing.

Can you tell me, the reasoning in to why deliveries are so late. Are you saying it's Covid ? All other mainstream delivery companies are delivering on time and great service ! Covid has been with us, for the best part of the whole year, and you have had time, to draught up your battle plans for Christmas. An important time for people to be cheered up, with getting card's and parcels, in which, all are being disappointed, well most off ! Try planning better, as everyone and anyone just tell consumer's, " sorry due to Covid ", bla bla !!

RM Track and trace hardly ever works and when it does it rarely provides you with any helpful detail. customer service is of no use, unhelpful and even worse as a recipient. RM need to improve 200% in many many areas if they are to compete with other courier services such as DPD. RM should stick to delivering small parcels and letters unless they are prepared to invest properly and actually be helpful.

Some advice to Royal Mail. 1. do not send a text giving a delivery slot that you cannot manage to fulfil. 2. Do not follow up that initial text with silence as to the whereabouts of the parcel, and useless tracking that is not updated. 3. Stop loosing my parcels. 4. And stop delivering neighbours post to my house that I then have to go deliver my self.....aaargh!

Should charge less for 2nd class signed due to parcels taking way longer then 3 working days, also unable to sign due to covid...pointless and not the service you pay for.

Let me start by saying majority of the time royal mail are fantastic, great guy's friendly chatty, but..... when you get a newbie things go wrong šŸ™ƒ, unfortunately I've had post today that wasn't for me it was for TWO separate addresses alongside my own post so how did the postman get it wrong, that's 3 different names 3 different numbers 3 different addresses all to 1 House, I delivered the letter and parcel to the right addresses but obviously I'm concerned my own mail maybe in the hands of someone else, and this time of year I'm waiting for parcels and letter's, the new guy really needs to check the adress out.

Ive Used Royal mail for my eBay items for years your better off sending it in a safe, I would say 2/3 items out of 10 will get damaged, example posted item last week boxed enough bubblerap to sink a boat and still got damaged. And don't even think about getting a refund its a joke, come on royal mail get your act together.

I order many things from China the tracking is updated on every movement of the parcel, until it's handed to to Royal mail then all tracking stops and it's pot luck when it turns up. Why?

The tracking feature is dire, no wonder amazon and other couriers are taking market share.

You can hardly say that you can 'track' parcels. Improve this! I want to know timeframes, where my parcel is and when they're nearby. Not just that it will arrive today. Your the biggest delivery service in the UK and yet you lack the technology of the smaller companies.

Posted a birthday parcel to my gandaughter in London from post office colinton edin . Lost post sent 10/3 . Royal Mail is not interested , tried every avenue to recover , no one is interested , really disgusting . I claimed on line for compensation and the 3rd part of the claim wonā€™t go through , I have got other people to check, they say itā€™s in order . I spoke to a Man about 4 to5 weeks ago he taken all the details , never heard a thing A I walked in to a post office paid Ā£3.55 for delivery . Parcel never arrived . Attitude of Royal Mail , who cares , ā€œ DISGUSTINGā€šŸ˜¬

I had a grey card delivered saying the sender hadnā€™t paid enough delivery, I tried to contact the local sorting office (sharston) to try to find out who had sent the parcel to be ignored put on hold and the phone being hung up! There is no where to complain for the section I want! All in all I am very dissatisfied.

Beware, if you send something via 48 hour delivery, they will use ParcelFarce instead, and they are HORRIBLE. Make Sure your item is going via Royal Mail and not ParcelFarce, you have been warned.
