Why postman never press the doorbell and just write a note saying no one at home??? Please please please just press the doorbell so we knew you are here. I have 3 delivery by royal mail and every time they just leave a note saying no one at home. Such a lazy postman by not pressing the doorbell.

Royal Mail is absolutely the worst service I have ever used or had experience with. First of all, their international shipping is definitely overcharged, not to mention the amount of letters and parcels they've lost. The most recent experience which inspired this review was another lost parcel. I have no idea where they left it. On the tracking site it only says it's been delivered. But where to? Certainly not to my house, and there was also no card to say with whom they left it with. Absolutely no transparency and no accountability! I've checked with my immediate neighbours any nobody had received it. Such a sloppy job from Royal Mail, they should be shut. They are so many more reliable services, I don't know why anyone would use Royal Mail for anything.

Royal snail mail I have now been waiting almost two weeks for a parcel to be delivered using Track 48. Only excuse that appears to be used is COVID 19. I am expecting to be told it has gone missing as if anyone is going to believe that poor excuse. Actually Royal snail mail is a poor excuse for a very poorly run company. The CEO needs to stop using COVID as an excuse and actually make his company work, get rid of his shirkers, thieves and union workers (who would prefer to drink tea than lift a finger to do some work). Employ people who want to do the job. And if you cannot then just give up your 100k plus salary and leave. I would not give this company any stars I have found the likes of Amazon and Hermes vastly more reliable in their delivery service and not using COVID as an excuse. Minus five stars. ———— 🐌

I have now been waiting for 4 days for a parcel which was supposed to have been delivered on Monday. They’re impossible to get hold of. Was supposed to have something delivered today by “13:47” well it’s long past that time now and I still haven’t heard anything. But they wash their hands of any blame when you finally speak to someone (usually the delivery guy). You pay for recorded delivery and it is just dumped on the doorstep in broad daylight. Had one thing stolen after they left it by my front door. Right now they’re giving Hermes a run for their money in a bid to be the worst delivery firm ever!

Absolutely disgusting service at the moment, posted item second class signed for on 21st of November 2020 and received the 8th of December 2020 absolutely unacceptable, sort this out Royal Mail

I'd give zero stars if I could. Basically if things go wrong they just shut down tracking services and make it impossible to speak to anyone. No idea where my goods are, pretty sure they don't know either.

Shocking service now. My weekly magazine subscriptions arrive in a haphazard manner sometimes two or three weeks late and all arrive together. Daily deliveries a thing of the past and mail from the US is taking two or three weeks and the problem is this side of the pond it seems. When are they going to admit that daily deliveries don't exist and at least let us know when we can expect them.

What is the point of a tracking number if it does not tell you anything till your parcel has been delivered at witch point you no longer need it poor service at high prices

Parcel not delivered at stated time. If you're only job is to deliver a parcel and you state that you are going to do it within a specified window and then fail, then you are not offering a service to me and I should be refunded the cost of postage. I should also have the option for charging for my time which I've had to spend waiting in the house for a parcel which didn't arrive. Terrible company which should be replaced by private companies who can actually deliver a service. I'd be embarrassed to work for them.

Disgraceful service, particularly in Stockport. People locally are missing hospital appointments because these lazy individuals can't be bothered to provide a reasonable service. Why is there not an official complaints procedure??

Absolutely disgusting service, particularly in our area of Stockport. People are missing hospital appointments because of their ineptitude. My wife has cancer treatment and regularly (almost always) has to phone Christie because RM can't be bothered to deliver in reasonable time. Furthermore, why is there not an official complaint procedure??

Sent a Covid test by guarenteed next day delivery. Took over 2 days. Now having to cancel holiday with no refund. Shocking "service". Why guarentee if you cant deliver anything close. If i had known it was this bad i would have driven myself.

Totally Shocking Service I sent money to my nephew's for Xmas,the envelope was delivered but empty of its contents.It contained two money wallets with cash totalling,£50 so it wasn't pennies.I always assumed postal staff were meant to be trust worthy people obviously this is not the case.I feel totally sickened to think that some lowlife would stoop as low as to do this. I will never use the postal service again Totally disgusted

Less than one star. Is this is supposed to be a delivery service? I would be embarrassed if I work for this company absolute joke. Lost parcels, rude customer service representivites at parcel pick up and majority of staff incompetent. Hands down worse delivery service in the UK

Shocking Shocking Shocking,sent money for Xmas to my nephew's only for the envelope to be delivered with nothing in it.It wasn't just pennies it was ,£50.The main envelope had 2 money wallets in it.I would have thought the postal staff were meant to be trust worthy people, obviously not.I am sickened to think some low life would actually steal this money for their own means.Totally disgusted.

How come the Royal mail only service that don't bother updating the tracking, you just got the info like : tracking will be provided once we try to deliver so what's the point even having tracking at all? Seems like they just not to bothered about their customer nowadays everyone should be able to see where the package currently is located and show the time like some other companies already doing it.

Terrible Service - Embarrassing for the country - the word Royal should be removed - it is a joke. Lost Driving Licence sent tracked one month ago. Lost Passport sent tracked two weeks ago. Lost parcel from online retailer one week ago also sent tracked. Companies should boycott Royal Mail and only use couriers. In addition, Royal Mail never answer phone, been on hold for one hour - waste of time and money
