“I run a greeting card business and customers expect their cards to arrive on time but recently again I have been getting complaints of them not arriving on time and who has to deal with these complaints ?.... me!!. I have to apologise to the customer because you state 24 hour for 1st class and 2-3 days for second, 2 orders haven't arrived for days after and when you go to claim back you say I can only claim after 10 days! which I expect it would arrive by then but what good is that, it's too late and I lose money while you get away with it. I'm very angry with Royal Mail and they have the cheek to increase their charges for this rubbish service.”

“Items lost at Plymouth mail centre.
I have had at least two item lost lately after arriving at Mail centre on route to West Park sorting office. Contacted Royal mail and told to contact seller. Very poor customer service and assistance.
After paying for postage service and knowing that item had
been dispatched from seller - this is Royal mail's responsibility.
They are not meeting their obligation. Disgusted in the service provided.”
“Sent two letters by tracked delivery - when checking to see if they had been delivered all I got was the message to say you have it, and the next message I would receive would be when an attempted delivery was made. No messages were received, I had to make numerous phone calls to check that the letters had been delivered, which they had - albeit not within the time scale I was expecting and had paid £6.50 for.. Dreadful service...”

“Royal Mail are the worst. You pay for 24 next day and 48 hr delivery tracked and it NEVER arrives on time. I have lost count of the number of times this has happened.
My last parcel was out for delivery between 1 & 2pm. It never arrived. According to the tracking the parcel was returned to the depot at 4.40pm even they are supposed to deliver up to 7pm. No excuse was given. I would give them less that one star if I could. We are paying for services they don't provide.”

Pay for 24 hrs tracked and in that 24 hrs it's got no further than the local sorting office.
Go online and it tells you it's their aim and not a guarantee!!

Maybe you should pay after item delivered as they are simply conning thousands daily out of money, people pay premium should get premium. Best just to stick to second class seems no different to more expensive options.”

“No parcel just a pic of my parcel being handed to someone at a different address…that is Royal mails proof of delivery!!!!!!! Customer service doesn’t exist… Amazon and eBay send my parcels through Evri after I insisted…I suggest other customers request this if you want your parcels”
