Royal Mail Tracking is Down

We have already moved most of our business to couriers. Now the RM can't even deliver (very expensive!) special delivery items on time. They are a joke and are going down the pan.

What a joke you are as a company. Maybe if you paid your staff a decent wage they would actually do the job. Not delivered fine just return it i no longer need or want it. Come collect it from your depot you say well aye. I pay you to deliver it you dont and ill just come pick it up. Muppets.

Royal Mail - small package speed of delivery service is poor Sent 4 small packages by second class post last Tuesday, one arrived yesterday. Ludicrously slow service even for second class. It should be renamed 2 week service

I really would not use Royal Mail if you are posting a parcel 1st class signed for 6 days in and still not delivered. Go use a company that will actually deliver your parcel

as a small business owner ... every large letter I paid postage for with Royal Mail and sent via a Tracked and Signed for delivery service always showed up on their website as "We've Got It" ... even after weeks and weeks and even months later when I put the Tracking number in it showed up on on their website as 'Weve Got It" ... so you will pay extra for Tracked delivery and be given a tracking number by the post office but you will never ever know if the recipient received it or not. The whole point of sending Tracked is to give you proof the buyer has received it. A huge, huge, relief for me was finding out about other couriers and because of this I have no more stress when posting my items now.

Royal Mail have had years to get their act together. Test they fall way behind compared to other firms. Why with their tracking it only tells you when a delvery has been attempted! does tracking not mean track an item from start to finish They have got to improve as they now have completion that leaves them standing.

We moved into a temporary address until our house was ready. Paid £84 for the redirection of our families letters. We were waiting for something very important, sent out on the 6th October, first class. On the 15th October I had a message from the lady who bought our old house to say letters were still going to our old address. I rearranged for the company of the letter I needed to be re sent. This was on 17th October, again first class. its 22nd October and wasn’t in todays post. Just hope it arrives Monday. First class is no longer next working day.

I'm beyond furious! Two of my packages, one worth £140 and the other £37 delivered to a church that's not even on my street!!! Like who does that? I was home all through the day, and I'm positive no one rang my bell, because I was very alert and expecting the delivery. Now I have to wait for 10days for investigation to be done? Who delivers to a church for Christ's sake?

Posted a letter, first class signed for, on 12 October, now 21 October and still not arrived. Postal strike on the 12th, understand, but it’s now 10 days since posting so can’t blame strike action. Where’s my letter Royal Mail.

Royal Mail is the most inept and unreliable mailing service I have ever used. 10 days ago, I ordered a package from the U.K. to be sent to my home in Queens, New York. The package has been in my city for the past 4 days, but I still am yet to receive it. The Strike is not an excuse for this much delay, as the incompetence stretches even outside the U.K. The parcel first arrive in Queens, which is where I live, before somehow being sent to the final delivery center in Manhattan, due to an error. In a sigh of relief, the package came back to Queens after at least 2 days of just sitting there, before it was SENT BACK TO MANHATTAN A SECOND TIME DUE TO ANOTHER ERROR. HOW DOES THAT EVEN HAPPEN?? I am baffled as to how incompetent this service is- the first time around may have been just a little mistake, so I didn't think much of it. But, to make the same mistake twice in a row in a span of 4 days, whilst handling an urgently needed package? A group of drunk orangutans could've delivered all of Royal Mail's packages faster than Royal Mail. Royally slow mail.

An already poor company rapidly going on atrocious. Happy to take your money for services they're currently NOT performing e.g. Special Delivery, 24 hour, 48 hour etc. I've paid for multiple orders to be delivered with 24 hour services, none of which have even left the depot in over 3 days. Expected a significant parcel to be delivered today with specific instructions for it to be left in a certain place only to find out while at work the postal agent has marked the delivery as 'Attempted but no answer'. Either the people they have working for them can't understand basic English or they're just plain stupid. Don't know how they DARE have the nerve to strike when they're utterly useless at their jobs to begin with. Absolute workshy jobsworths.

24 hour tracked taking 4 days, (nothing to do with the strikes) and first class post taking 9 days. Unacceptable!

Appallingly bad. Knock on effects to other businesses due to their incompetence is immeasurable and inexcusable.

What’s the point of RM TRACKING when you can’t track anything until it’s been delivered? Pull your socks up RM there’s someone right behind you happy to complete a decent delivery service.

I had a signed for delivery that was deposited last Weds afternoon (now following Tuesday) from a Bournemouth Post Office going to London. 6 days later the tracking still only says Accepted at Bournemouth post office. Impossible to get through to anyone. I was on hold for 25mins and when RM person finally answered call they pretended they couldn't hear me and they put the phone down after 2 seconds, clearly to clear the queue. This is terrible and I won't use RM again. As this was a passport and ruined a holiday. They're not even on strike yet. Totally unacceptable

And they are striking 😅😅😅 Want salary raise? Heck you. For what? For worst service? It's not the first time since January. In the future will try to avoid as much as possible. Yak

Royal mail are simply rubbish at delivering mail.. I have a tracked 48 item that is still in transit since last Tuesday..5 days ago..and it isn't going to arrive today !! Strike or no strike, you shouldn't be offering any service that you have no intention of abiding with..it's a real shame that the service that is the most unreliable, the one we trust less, the one service I cringe at when it's the only one offered by a supplier is the Royal Mail...when will someone take ownership, why isn't someone doing anything about the lack of confidence we the consumers have in this terrible service..it would be e a joke, but it just ain't funny..
