Rubbish. Massively delayed post so my customers have demanded refunds or replacements. Then theoriginal parcel turns up weeks later! Royal Mail refuse to.compensate me as theyve "delivered it". C&#*!s Not fit for purpose should be disbanded.

The worst service I have ever known! They softly knock on the door and immediately leave .... I do not have time to go down from the 3rd floor in a second! Do I have to follow the car?! This happens every time! I do Redelivery and again the same thing happens! Worst and nastiest service ever! I hate!

So slow. I remember the days when 1st class meant next day delivery and we had two posts a day. Service gets worse and we pay more for it.

What a rubbish company. I sale on a market place and sales many items within UK and internationally. Almost all the items send in December and January still not deliver and tracking is saying random things like sender is preparing item after a month of dispatch. They are keeping package in Milton Keynes sorting hub for more than a month. Even especial delivery within Uk had delivered after a month. And I can’t even file the claim as I don’t get the proof of postage from post office as we post many items at once and to get proof of postage for all take long time. It is really horrible experience. We lost a lot of money. And also reputation as a seller. Buyer leaving bad reviews and opening cases as they didn’t get theirs parcels. And we can’t do nothing about it. 😡😡😡 I want this company to close down!!!

The RM has a new way of delivering parcels. Today my parcel was tossed over my 6’ side gate, but the good news is that I had to take some trash out and spotted it lying on the ground. One star is way too much for such a disgustingly bad service and total disregard for my property.

I purchased a "guaranteed" next day service. The package was delivered two days late. The 'tracking' feature was ridiculous...it basically says when the item is posted and when it is delivered. Royal Mail have rejected my claim for compensation on the grounds that I did not read their T&Cs. It should be illegal for a company to describe a service as 'guaranteed' if it is not guaranteed (or insufficiently insured, as in my case). Royal Mail is essentially a monopoly. I think this type of company should be nationalised. Unsympathetic customer service.

Not just for todays experience but years of good service. Royal Mail also have a service which includes picking up mail/parcels etc from your home for free. I use this a lot and I have never been let down. It's a great service and I wish to thank RM for it and I hope it continues. A lot of people rely on you RM. The Posties are amazing here and I also want to thank them for a great service.

Awful service. Rude on the phone to. Terrible neve pay for next day service, it's quicker to just have 2nd class. They are lucky the have a job where they can strike when they feel like then get paid more to do nothing and be rude. If you want a pay raise do your job. Want to strike? Get another job Simple

Won't hire me just for having minor crimes on my criminal record from over ten years, rather pathetic as I have been unemployed for six years and would have worked my ass off for this company, but at least I won't be harassed by the powers that be.

I am a long term business customer, we have used the Royal Mail for distribution for over 27 years. The Door-to-door team recently made a huge error on a contract, then another on our invoicing, and kept me bouncing from department to department for three entire days without helping me to resolve the issue. Not one person I spoke to had the authority to change anything on the account, and there was not a single manager for Door to Door, the finance department or the complaints department available to speak to me directly. I was instructed to send emails to various addresses but nothing has been replied to. I am now looking into alternative postal companies, Royal Mail has gone downhill fast.

Pay people more or hire people that want to work! The services of RM have become a joke, especially considering the prices! Since last November there have been several issues with your services in the UK and with international packages. 1st class recorded packages took over a week to be delivered. I had several cases when there were no updates to the tracking information for a whole working week, this is completely unacceptable in the business environement of today. Several international packages sent in early December have had no update for over a month which meant that I had to refund the buyers and lost repeat business due to the poor service of Royal mail. The time you have to wait to make a claim is ridiculously long and who knows how long they will take Royal mail to process. Complete disaster, switched over to courier services and have been satisfied since.

Ref:1-8754468859 A truly terrible company to deal with. I recently stayed in to take delivery of a watch I ordered. I didn't leave the house and have 2 working doorbells. So I was suprised to receive an email saying my item had been delivered. It certainly was not nor was a slip posted detailing where the parcel was supposedly left. I contacted royal mail complaints/ customer service department, I spoke to a lady named Holly, I was told that the Item had been reported as delivered but Holly then said she could confirm that this was not the case. I was then given a reference number and told to wait 3 days before contacting the retailer and informing them of the situation, and sharing the mentioned reference number. Which I did, the retailer informed me that there own investigation would be done that could take 10 days. After speaking to the retailer once again I contacted royal mail, I failed to get the name of the male representative, I told him I had spoken to the retailer and that they would investigate the incident themselves. The royal mail rep then said that was normal and that it was common procedure. And that it had been delivered to the wrong address and that royal mail would accept responsibility as it was without doubt error on there part. I was never contacted by royal mail nor the retailer, after more than 10 days I made contact with the retailer and was told royal mail denied any responsibility and that they had washed there hands of it, at which I was offered a refund by the retailer as sadly the watch is no longer in stock or on offer any longer. I contacted Royal mail once more in an attempt to get an answer as to what went so wrong with what should have been an impossibly simply parcel handover. I was informed the postman said he definitely delivered it and left it on my property(where she could not say) and took photographic evidence. I requested to see the evidence and the lady said the photo was taken of the item in the postmans bag. How that is to be considered evidence Im not sure. I asked why no effort was made to hand the Item to me in person and was told that it was normal for items to be left in a safe place if the recipient is not able to take possession. I informed her once more that I was at the property for exactly that reason. She then said something to effect of "what can I say, things didn't go as they should have but that there was no wrong doing and I got my money back so its a happy ending and hopefully a one of, is there anything else I can help you with today" The result, yes I got my money back no thanks to royal mail, I didn't however get the watch I had been really looking forward to getting at a great price and ended up on the phone for 3 hours+ and wasted most of a day waiting in for a delivery that remains undelivered(to me). Between this incident, leaving my outside postbox lid up on occasion destroying mail due to weather ingress and leaving a package leaning against a poison laced rat trap I for one have completely lost confidence in royal mail and genuinely fret when making a purchase and been made aware of royal mails involvement causing undue anxiety and stress.
