Posted a Mothers Day card on 10th March. Card post marked 11thMarch. Just arrived today(16th). Mothers Day was two days ago. What a disgraceful service and a waste of money. If I could find an alternative service I'd be using it. Royal Mail you should be ashamed of yourselves. I posted card first class as well??????

Lost special delivery item Sent a package for special deliverey guranteed Monday 8 March in the morning, was supposed to be delivered next day but now a full week on still not arrived, absolutely useless service. Went to my local post office and everything within that batch was delivered but not mine so defo believe someone decided to steal it, been speaking to Royal Mail back and forth and just a bunch of useless information and just keeps saying put in a claim, will never use Royal Mail again for anything.

I posted a “large letter” which weighed only 60grams; its dimensions were well within the Post Office's stipulated “Format & Measurements.” I attached 2 First Class stamps (more than the required 2nd Class tariff) for its journey to Canada Water SE London from Portsmouth - 105Km! Posted in Portsmouth early on Tuesday morning March 9th as of today’s date 13th March, the envelope has frustratingly not arrived. Now my daughter has just messaged me asking if the two Mothers Day cards she posted in London early on Thursday March 11th (by 1st Class post) had arrived, its Mothers Day tomorrow!! Disappointingly they haven’t. She is furious. Come on Nick Read/Royal Mail, this is utterly deplorable. There is no redress, no refunds/vouchers or apologies. I really wish that there was an alternative service.

Awful company!!! David from team 2 thank you for bringing me to tears after our conversation ended! Absolutely terrible customer service!! Thankfully the customer assistant at Amazon was much kinder and even though my problem isn’t solved he was absolutely fantastic!! Royal Mail you should request the recording for training purposes... you could certainly do with it!!

Package said delivered on the website but it wasn't. I had to knock on every neighbour's door around me and play Sherlock Holmes to find out which house they had given it to because royal mail didn't bother to give me a card to tell me which house it was. Eventually found it 5 houses down to a person I've never spoken to in my life. The package wasn't valuable but it could have been and the guy could have easily denied having it. Please at least be professional when delivering parcels.

I have lost multiple deliveries from this company. Whenever I order from them off of Amazon, I just assume my package is never coming and I have just wasted my time and money.

This mailing service has lost multiple parcels of mine. When I get a delivery off of Amazon and see that it's being delivered by the royal mail I just assume that it is not coming here at all and I have wasted my money.

There is something inherently wrong with Royal Mail. Make no doubt about it, they are completely unaccountable to anyone. Missing letters - aah that's because of Covid Lost letters - Ditto Lost Parcels - Ditto Advertising services to the public that they plainly do not have any intention of fulfilling. Did you know that 'Tracked 24' is just an aim and it can take up to 7 working days longer than this? That's in Royal Mail's T&C's, which I was told to read after I finally got through to their complaints department after 61 minutes. They are quite happy taking the extra money though. (I would call this 'taking money under false pretences'). I could have sent them an email to complain but it can take longer than 10 working days to get a reply (apparently). If you don't believe this, please take a look at their site which categorically states this fact. Delivery offices that open 3 hours a day. Why? - aah Covid is the reason. No 'Live Help' available (except for business customers). No Facebook options. The list goes on Yes, as I said, truly unaccountable to anyone.

I submitted a detailed complaints form on 23rd February 2021 about the foul-mouthed and aggressive behaviour of a Royal Mail employee towards me after I asked him to not block my driveway with his van. I received an automated response telling me that the complaint had been received, would be reviewed and I would be subsequently advised. Well, 15 days later, I have had no response and my email address is blocked from completing a new complaints and/or contacting customer services or the Managing Director, Ms Paula Vennells. Good customer service??? No, not in my opinion.

Royal Mail are ripping people off never phone 08444740395 as it's a premium number and it cost me £10 pounds to be kept on the line while they making money from my call.a total ripoff company.no wonder most people are using other postage companies now! Not like the old days when they was good. Absolute rubbish now

Postal workers are not delivering items to the right addresses. The amount of training they have to have before they get employed and you’d think they could get an address right. I’ve had parcels sent to the wrong house and residents have opened my packages because the redelivery service didn’t happen so no one from Royal Mail went back to collect the parcel and residents used them for their personal needs which is utterly horrendous. When I complain all I get is ‘sorry’ and this has happened again for a second time with no idea where my package has been delivered to!! We just need a Mail service that works?!

Absolute joke of a company, their parcels are never on time, they never update tracking and their staff are rude and inconsiderate. I highly suggest you try to get another company to deliver your parcels.

I ordered a package online that was to be delivered by Royal Mail. In order: 1. The package was delayed. 2. They claimed to have attempted to deliver the package on a particular day, but they did not - I was in the same room as the front door all day, but there was no knocking. 3. They did not leave any card indicating they had tried to deliver. 4. Royal Mail's online form for redelivery rejects the same tracking number that other parts of the same website accept, so I cannot complete it. 5. I tried to call the Royal Mail phone number on several occasions. On each, the automated system fails to understand my address and so I cannot proceed to requesting a redelivery. 6. When the Royal Mail phone finally gets to the stage where it might put me in contact with a human, it instead hangs up on me, saying that there is no-one available. This has occurred on several different days at different times. 7. The complaints number and number for the local post office are the same number as above. 8. Their tracking page for the package has no indication of where the package is at the moment, so I can't go and collect it. I have never had anything close to this awful experience with other delivery companies. Avoid Royal Mail.

Total waste of time. Why have tracking when the tracking doesn't know where the parcel is. 24h is 70h. 48h is 6days. Re delivery is ok. But don't bother picking up from local depot as they open when they want and you would have to work there to know that. But other than that. What a fantastic british company it is.

The Royal Mail tracking app is absolutely pointless. According to the app I have 5 parcels where the postman could not get access, 3 parcels where the app comes up with sorry no further information yet all my parcels were delivered. It’s a comedy of Errors, your best scrapping it Royal Mail your a joke.

Very embracing and rude company! not helpful at all!! they cause even more problems!!! I have a refund and I was setting out pick up from my home... they took the item worth £150 and didn't get to the seller...therefore I am stuck and I will lose my £150 because they have no clue where my parcel is and they simply reply with " just complete the online form for item compensation" which I did but they have a limit of compensation fee which is stetted by themselves, this is no more, no less than £20 there are problem makers!!!! for what they got paid? I never going to use this rubbish service!

What’s the point of a delivery service who might or might not turn up? I now actively buy from sellers who offer other couriers. Royal Mail is an embarrassment to the country.

No point in having signed for parcels as they won’t bother. Never selected 1st Class as I guarantee you won’t get it with 2 days. Postmen show up every so often. Select better options like DPD and Hermes to make your life much easier.
