Horrible service. Some of our Christmas gifts still lost over a month overdue. Redirection service appalling. Website not functional. Letters delivered late, and sometimes to the wrong address. Rude staff. Forced to register with Royal Mail ,but our details are not safe and even when you unsubscribe, you still receive emails from them for surveys and marketing. When you demand to delete account, your details remain on their data. Just appalling.

Have a letter of mine since 30th Dec 2020. Never delivered it. Left me a red note. Booked redelivery to my home address. Still haven't received. Many calls. Much wasted time. Why choose royal femail as a parcel del service? Use Fed Ex or UPS.

So, the parcel was delivered apparently, despite waiting in and then getting an email saying it was delivered, it wasn’t. So I clicked on the help link in the email and was sent round in circles until I finally realised the help section was designed to be as in helpful as possible and something of a deterrent. Currently on the phone in limbo listening to Bach and his orchestra trying to call me down. It seems traditional that everything but the Queen that has royal in is its title is a by word for terrible service.

‘RoyalSnailFailMail- parcel posted to 60 miles away on 7 Dec 20 for childs Xmas Not delivered by 23 Jan 21. I know Lanark sorting office has claims of ‘Covid’ - parcel stolen? Tracking system not fit for purpose. Hint - don’t type in dashes, try 0 (number) then try O (letter), use magnifying glass to check if receipt shows a ‘B’ (letter) or an ‘8’ ( number). Even when you get through to answer you are none the wiser. Why don’t they want to provide user-friendly, useful track and trace system? I am looking for a reliable alternative SERVICE as RM make it nigh impossible to contact them by ANY method.

Ordered plants from a company and groaned when I saw they’d been dispatched via Royal Mail as we’ve (understandably) been getting patchy service from them in light of lockdown in my neck of the woods. This wasn’t necessarily an issue... what IS an issue is that RM’s online tracking NEVER seems to work until AFTER an initial delivery has been attempted... and I say attempted. Nearly every other service provider of this kind lets you put very specific options for ‘safe places’ etc. But to do anything similar with RM it needs to recognise/accept your tracking deets - which of course it doesn’t!! So I now have a ‘missed you’ card for a date and time when I was literally sitting in my flat waiting for delivery (presumably the doorbell was too much of a taxing concept) and a load of already late plants sitting in boxes in the post office sorting centre. Am just hoping they’re miraculous plants that have evolved to exist without sunlight, water or CO2 - otherwise it’s been a total waste of everyone’s time and my money!

3 parcels missing in a short period of time, and some of my relatives are still awaiting Christmas cards I posted 6 weeks ago!!! Never again am I going to waste any money on this non-service. Royal Mail is going down. Disgusting. Now encouraging everyone I buy anything from to use Hermes or other courier.

Working from home and waiting for parts to be delivered by Royal Mail is really frustrating. No deliveries for a week now and the customer service line is a total waste of time. I have got to try to order my spares from companys that use other couriers that actually deliver. Everyone is in the same situation with Covid but it only seems to be Royal Mail that cant keep up with delivering. Why is this?

No mail for 2weeks now, even escalations don't return a call they are a shambles from top to bottom. I know 1 Postie who's is into his 2nd holid... sorry absence within 1 month; playing games with their Test & Trace App more like. Alright for some.

Waiting for an item that was posted Tuesday on 2nd class registered post, it’s now Friday and it clearly states 3 working days on the receipt and to add insult to injury no tracking information, worse than useless

Website a joke, service even more so. Unsure why any business uses Royal Mail to deliver, customers end out waiting weeks for it to arrive. Currently got two replacement bank cards and three parcels lying in a sorting centre somewhere with no sign of delivery. Live in london and we haven’t had a Royal Mail delivery for over a week. I’d even rate Hermes as more efficient and reliable.

What's the point of first class or second class ? items don't arrive for days. It would be quicker to just deliver the stuff myself.

Waited 60mins to be connected which under the current lockdown was anticipated. Spoke with a person who simply couldn’t be bothered to update me on a parcel. Furthermore was told it can take up to a month for 2nd class post to arrive from mainland uk to uk. Train your staff to be informative correctly.

I have many items that I have not received for weeks now and letters only delivered once every couple of weeks, they blame COVID but my area has always been so slow and very unreliable, the service and cost is shocking, plenty of people are willing to work so why not employ more staff.

15.01.2021 advised my order will be delivered between 8 and 12 the following Tuesday. The following Monday received another email.at 6.30 AM to advise it will be delivered that day between 8 and 12. NOTHING. Following day advised he was sent to wrong DO and that it was on its way STILL NOTHING. Less useful a chocolate tea pot. Because of the T & C there is nothing anyone can do about it. A disgrace.
