Just called Fensa because my certificate has still not arrived after close to two months wait for it, and numerous promises and excuses along the way, this after paying in full the evening of the installation. Fensa tells me Safestyle has not registered my doors with them yet! Shocking is all I can say.

I paid my deposit over 4 weeks ago and sill no surveyor is booked to measure my windows. Gave up being on hold after 25 minutes countless times. I redevelop properties and have used other companies - Safestyle have been the worst I've dealt with. Never again!

Asked for someone to come out for a quote and they agreed to come out the next day. Specified that I just want a quote only, they said that's fine. Had a phone call before the visit asking if I live alone or with a partner. Said I live with my wife. The guy turns up and asks where my wife is. I say she's shopping and he says he will come back later as it's a decision to be made by both husband and wife. He turned up later in the day and measured up and then the sales patter starts. NASA technology/double glazing gasses etc. Whilst I want a good product, I'm not that bothered about production techniques. He then goes on to slate my existing (recently fitted) kitchen window, asking who did it and questioning the quality. Goes on to give a ridiculous quote of £17k and must've seen the look on my face and starts with "...but with the discount", and moves it down to £14k, then says if I go ahead he can double up the scaffolding with another local job and it'll bring the cost down further. I couldn't have been clearer that I wasn't making any decision then and there but the guy wasn't taking "no" for an answer and starts trying to play me off against my wife, asking each of us what we THOUGHT it would be and offering to meet in the middle. I reiterated that I wasn't making a decision on a whim to spend thousands of pounds but the pressure tactics continued, he said if we didn't make a decision we would never get a better price from head office. I said I need to get on with work (I work from home and by this point he'd been there for 2 hours pressuring me into buying his windows) but he didn't take the hint and continued. I've never felt so pressured and uncomfortable in my own home and I would urge people not to ask for a quote from Safestyle because their sales tactics are disgusting. They make sure both you and your partner are there so you can't say "I'll need to discuss it with my wife", it's nothing to do with making sure the right windows and doors are agreed by husband and wife. Also, the guy thought it was a good idea to show me a signed order from another customer just up the road who he'd fleeced for tens of thousands of pounds, seemingly as a ploy to make us think we're getting a better deal. I work in the financial sector and this goes against all GDPR rules. I hate to think how many unwitting customers sign up with the first price given, especially the vulnerable and elderly. For the record I got a local guy to do the job for a better price but with an additional back door. There was no requirement for the scaffolding Safestyle were trying to fleece me for. Moral of the story, get a local tradesman to do it.

I had my windows installed almost 3 weeks ago and during the install the installer broken glass in the new window. They have left the cracked window glass in and told me it will be replaced within 5 days. I still had to pay the rest of money as was told "company doesn't like not to be paid". No one has contacted me since the work. I have been calling customer service and they said they will note it and will come back to me - no one did to date. Even phoned the sales rep who did the quotes and initial response was fine saying he will look into it but not heard back. This is very very bad customer service and experience and should have done more research before placing order.

I checked reviews before I went with this company and they were shockingly bad but my stupidity went with them anyway as they had pay next year that was the only reason and I thought to myself it's only one door how wrong can it go, big mistake, door has been broken since day one but they couldn't do anything due to cyber attack on system that was in January its now march, I bet in that time they could take plenty of new orders though but not sort existing issues, my door eventually totally gave up Tuesday 1st March at 12.30pm and would not shut (the door is open not unlocked, open) Rang and they said someone would come in 40mins it's now Wednesday 2nd March 6.50am no one been after so many calls and waiting up to a hour to get through every time my door has been open all night we have had to stay up all night as the door is on to a street and we have 2 children in the house one being a 10month old baby, absolute shocking disgusting service will be taking it further everyone massively avoid!

My installation was due a week ago. No fitters turned up and I have not been contacted by the company to I let me know what the issue is or has been and to rebook the installation. For a week I’ve been trying to contact the company by waiting in the call queue 30-40 mins at a time. I spoke to 2 help desk members last week both could not help me and transferred me from department to department with no resolution and numerous failures for a promised callback. I am in the call queue as I write this review, and have been for the past 20 mins. The worst service experienced so far!

AVOID THIS COMPANY 6 months after they took my £3k deposit, they have cancelled twice (once the day before, incurring me costs and inconvenience) and they are not responding to emails, phone calls or letters. I will now be taking them to court for the return of my deposit. Truly appalling service.

Disgraceful company Appalling service. After saying I wasn’t interested and was going to have someone else do my windows I received numerous calls, finally they came down by thousands first quoted when the sales person said he would call his manager. Stupidly I agreed as the installation date given was a lot quicker than the other company . The surveyor called to say he was coming but I was in a meeting so he said he would rearrange, I said can it be the weekend and was told I would be so lucky as he doesn’t work weekends. Then the next day the story was they have been hacked and no communication since, over the last few weeks I’ve made numerous calls and sent emails and no response. I’m so annoyed that I agreed to go with this company and also paid a £1500 deposit

Sadly we, like many others - James - 4th Time Lucky ! Have reviewed Safestyle through Trust Pilot and received a standard feedback request from Safestyle for our contact details. These have been sent and re-sent... and nothing...no contact whatsoever from Safestyle. Once they have your money, they are gone. We went with what we thought at the time were a leader in the field of windows and doors. Spent almost £20k and they can't even make contact to solve your problems when they arise. Poor poor show Safestyle.

Ordered windows in December and paid £1900, they surveyed 1st week of Jan, they then said couldnt install and cancelled the order. Been chasing the deposit refund ever since and keep being fobbed off by systems are down and can't do anything - but reading other reviews they are still taking other peoples orders, strange hey ! Much more likely they are on the point of insolvency and cant process any refunds AVOID

My door was installed in Aril 2020. Soon after we saw the door had big gaps on top that you could see trough. We have now just been called to cancel the replacement of the frame for the fifth time. we are now sitting in 10/02/2022. There lack of service is bordering on criminal. They are now refusing to give me a refund. I can only say RUN A MILE FROM THEM.

If I could give 0 stars I would, avoid! Sales guy ticked me to get a sale then the survey guy took all measurements wrong so doors and Windows wrong ok install, put all my windows and door in on a tilt, (professional haha don’t make me laugh) let my windows lintels full in and damaged windows and brick. See kids do better work, sent 4 teams of there best fitters and still messed it up each time, 8 months later and they only will ever give 100£ compensation so don’t ever close a case with them they tick you at every point! Managers rude and disrespectful. You think your getting a good company to fit but in the end they are a total joke of a company! Still not finished my windows.

Windows are cheap and nasty and our composite door is locked shut. Female service manager is extremely rude and really should not work in customer aftersales. Windows didn’t fit and had to be remade and nearly all off them had faults that needed rectifying and have failed again. All this in less than 6 months. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Wanted a nee door with 2 slim windows and a full floor to ceiling window. £7250 which dropped to £3500 after discount apparently, said I’m not interested then it went down to £3250. Sales team rang me the next day and said they could do it for £2850 🙄 the guy came in with a full pitch ect trying it on until he knew I wasn’t messing about on price! Absolutely ridiculous he ranted on and on until I said just cut to the chase, never used them in the end due to trying to scam money out of me. Got a local business to come round and price up, no messing about 👍 all done for less than the lower price.

Two very inexperienced workers built our conservatory, the amount of money passed to was extortionate, to be left with an unfinished conservatory, anybody that is interested in safe style, wake up and find a good company, everyone of them will be better than safe style. This company should not be trading.

12 months ago I paid £1500 extra for lintels to be fitted over my new windows. These were not fitted and If It wasn’t for my construction background I would have assumed they had been installed. You can’t argue with a company that will not respond to emails or return your phone calls. The Ombudsman were useless and couldn’t make them resolve the issue despite having all the evidence including written admission of failure to supply and fit from safestyle… Worst customer service I have ever experienced… “still unresolved 12 months on”
