If you have Coeliac disease, DO NOT have your shopping delivered with Sainsbury’s. They do not take the to time to select the correct products.

First time used click and collect, several chilled goods expired on day collected or the next day, quite poor really. Turkey mince had actually ballooned the packaging so threw it away. I am retired and live alone so will not use this service again. To add injury I spent 30 mins writing an email complaint to find that they no longer accept emails! So phoned and spoke to a nice Scottish lady but was no help whatsoever. I was not after a refund but after reassurance that they were not 'offloading' sell by dates via click and collect. Will try Asda next time.

I have been using Sainsburys home delivery for some months as they prioritise elderly shoppers and have been a Sainsburys customer for many years so I have stayed loyal to them. As with the other lady, I have problems bending down due to having two metal hips. It does clearly state on the website that the driver will put the shopping into customer's own bags but the last twice, although I have supplied bags, the drivers have refused to put the shopping into the bags, just left all the items on the floor although I did tell them I was unable to bend. I'm now reconsidering shopping with Sainsburys, I'm not going to put my hips and back at risk because the drivers are too lazy to help me. I will be trying another supermarket in future

Sainsbury's celebrated their 150th anniversary recently, 150 years of looking after their customers. In their 151st year, they have lost the plot. Closing inner town stores, to make people drive to their out of town stores, with no regard for the environmental problems they are causing. Their phrase of, "The new store is just a short drive away", means that they are chasing away customers who do not drive! And we all know that public transport does not serve these out of town shopping areas very well. Internally, the shops are going downhill, with the quality of food and shops deteriorating. The only good thing left, are their staff, a loyal and brilliant bunch of workers, who are going to suffer with the store closures. Top management need to step back and have a look at what they are creating, rather than compete with the likes of Tesco, they are becoming the same as Tesco, which is a step in the wrong direction.

Went in store to click and collect from argos. Thought while I was in store I would pick up some NES cafe coffee and some milk. The size jar of coffee I wanted was priced at £7.00 which is TWO pounds more expensive than Asda and Tesco . A few pence would have been ok but £2.00 rip off .Went to Asda so the 6 pints of milk was free with the difference . Take a look at your prices.

Sainbury’s Ashton. Older folks pushing trolleys in car park and stocking shelves and younger ones on tills and unable to calculate correct change. Something is wrong with that picture.

On two occasions now using the click and collect, the boxes which contain frozen items have been damaged. The items look as if they have been thrown into the the basket,or heavier shopping put on top of them. Not at all good for a reputable shop like Sainsbuys.

I regularly have online deliveries from Sainsburys and normally it is a excellent service. For 2 weeks running the packing has been a joke. Last week potatoes were stuck on top of my bread squashing it and then then again this week heavy groceries were packed on top of our bread. I am very disappointed and i recommend that the packers at the Kiln Lane branch in Epsom may need some more training in packing.

Had a “click & collect”. Several items VERY short dated (fish cakes same day) and items substituted (unauthorised) with cheaper items, but still charged at original item prices. Most annoying aspect is refund policy - everyone else does it on receipt of complaint as they already hold card details, but Sainsbury’s do not, they apparently have to ring you within 14 days to get your details. Still waiting. Avoid, there are alternatives out there who actually believe in customer service.

Went into Sainsbury's in North Chelmsford today, and they have apparently abandoned reasonable limits on numbers of people in store, and any enforcement of the "one person per household" rule. Yet the signs saying "Keep two metres apart" are still in the store, when it is very difficult, if not impossible at times, to keep to that. Absolute chaos in a lot of the store. Really poor practice, when other stores are managing it well, and Sainsbury's used to!! If anyone near me had Covid 19, then big risk I may have got it. May well avoid the store in future. Been going there for years.

I am a loyal customer of Sainsbury's and the social distancing outside the store is controlled extremely well, as only one person is allowed from one household at a time. This is great as it cuts down waiting time to go in as well as not having to keep your distance from groups of other people, as other stores may do. Unfortunately, once inside, even though customers adhere as best they can to the minimum 2 metre distancing rule, no matter what time of the day it is there always appears to be at least 2 members of staff with a large dolly (cage) of stock, chatting and apparently oblivious of shopping customers who just want to get what they need off the shelf or want to try and get past them and the trolley which is taking up most of the width of the aisle whilst keeping the appropriate safe distance. Also, staff seem to think they are immune to the 2 metre distancing rule as they put stock out and chat together, only inches apart. I, and other customers have regularly had to avoid certain aisles just to get to items because they are constantly blocked by staff and stock. Of course, it is an essential part of business to bring up stock levels to keep up with demand, but is it not feasible for this to be done when the store has no customers? Surely, everyone ( staff and customers) would feel safer and less restricted if they didn't have to constantly be on edge just to get from A to B!?

I work as a community nurse. Went into one of their branch to pick up medication during working hour in my uniform, they refused me entrance. Requesting i go and queue up. They speak about being helpful and support key workers but in action they failed.

No consistency in slot availability for identified elderly and vulnerable. Forever having to check the site to get a slot and not knowing when they going to be released. Been different every time and keep missing our opportunity to order. On the positive side delivery has been excellent and so far of a good standard. Well done pickers and delivery drivers.

Visited Sainsburys Truro today. Kit impressed. One in and one out a good idea and the spray and paper to clean the trolley excellent. Once inside however the aisles were very congested with staff filling shelves and doing the online shopping. Very difficult to keep a safe distance from staff and other shoppers. Felt very uncomfortable. I realise shelves need restocking and on line shopping needs to be done for certain customers but it was a bit chaotic.
