“Item was delivered promptly using a system which allowed flexibility (collect from a local shop) - a change for some delivery systems. The item became faulty soon after receipt but was repaired via the manufacture (Lenovo) promptly and effectively.”

“I purchased a ASUS notebook to take on my travels and all it has done has given me grief since I purchased it. The SD card reader stopped working within 3 weeks, I have purchased 3 readers since and probably will need another one soon. 'Word' is corrupt and constantly crashes, loses my documents and the thesaurus function does not work which I use a lot. The on and off button also does not work - terrible product and would very much welcome for this to be remedied. I was given a help desk email and got a gibberish response in a mix of Russian and English as I was in Kyrgyzstan when I sent the email. Sorry, but after care support was terrible! “Initial it was very slow. performance increased after free upgrade to win8.1 So far looks good value for money Although purchase in USA could have been more cheaper than UK Overall good n satisfied for my official use.”

“if you are good at using computers it is easy to use but have found it very difficult to use and micro soft is not on due to a product key so there fore cant use it and cant open files and attachments!”

“This is a good all round laptop. I use it extensively for powerpoint word excel Skype and web browsing. It's fast and have had no problems so far. Windows 8 takes a bit of getting used to though and it is really designed for a touchscreen laptop which this isn't. That said, I never use the new windows 8 interface as you can easily swap back to the old familiar 'desktop' view which works like all other windows versions more or less. I've found adding adding printers fine and other external devices are recognised. Overall excellent value for money. Acer is a good brand that I trusted before and it hasn't let me down. It's no Mac pro but it does what it says on the tin.”

“Having previously bought a laptop from Save on Laptops, it was a no brainer that I would return when I was looking for another laptop for my daughter. As before, the whole experience was faultless. “When my son's laptop arrived for his birthday we were disappointed to find that it was faulty and wouldn't start. However on contacting Save on Laptops refunds department they were quick and courteous and the replacement process was relatively easy, despite there being quite a long wait for the replacement to arrive, approximately two weeks after my son's birthday. However everything now works on it fine and he is happy.”
