I made direct debit agreements sat on the phone for over an hour but get nothing but harassment off them saying I haven’t. I’m stuck with Scottish power and I don’t want to be. I’ve spent a whole winter freezing because I have an immersion heater and storage heaters which are not good, I cannot use them. Too expensive. I want away from Scottish power altogether it’s even made me regret moving to this house. Just awful service and like I said I am stuck with them!

Fraudulent company take your money can’t even view your invoice so why are they taking money from our account. Have rung them over 30 times over the past 2 months as the website keeps saying our bills pending, no idea what we’re paying for just get there a problem with our website, not good enough keep promising 😡😡😡

Unbelievably inefficient, rude, no customer service at all. Have been waiting 8 weeks for an engineer to come out so we can install a new boiler, finally turned up today for us to be told he can’t fix a 3 phase boiler. Phoned SP who promptly put the phone down on me. How do they get away with this? My official complaint states that my husband is a vulnerable person they just don’t care. Do not go anywhere near SP diabolical company.

Customer service & complaints are just USELESS in this company. Have already taken them to the ombudsman twice and had resolved in my favour. So today another problem with a bill. Call them go through it all, they admit the error BUT because it was there system error they will NOT rectify it. As a customer how are we responsible for their systems?? Then told as i have been to the ombudsman before, I had better go that route again?? This company is truly appalling. On another matter asked to speak to another department in the same company only to be told "We dont speak to them and you cant either" If you have emailed this other dept which I already have was told "If they have not replied just keep emailing them" A watchdog with TEETH needs to bite this company where it hurts.

Absolutely useless. Little or no support with their own systems and when you call you get fed lies and told to email the same thing with no closure. Problems ongoing for 18 months now and still not resolved. Don’t bother with complaining as this is just another way to make you feel insignificant!!

Absolutely appalling customer service and attitude from Sahil. Argumentative and poor attitude towards me as an existing customer. Would not transfer me to another team member to try to help resolve my issue and explained he had no line manager and advised me to go to another provider. Absolutely shocking customer service with poor training on how to deal with customers.

All I want to express is that Scottish Power is well aware of their unjust practice of charging users unfair usage costs, and I have filed a complaint about it. However, it seems like they are choosing to ignore my concerns entirely. Despite recognizing that my usage is zero, they still charged me nearly 300 pounds over 25 days, and their response has been complete silence. I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with their behavior. As a result of this unpleasant experience, I have decided not to support this company anymore, and I will actively discourage others from using their services. Their rating speaks for itself, and I am not the only one who feels this way. I will continue to share my negative experience with Scottish Power among my colleagues at work, friends, family, and their acquaintances to raise awareness about how poorly they treat their customers and the unfairness of their charging policies.

Empty flat 25 days one day being charge £248.20 I am a landlord and I own a one-bedroom flat measuring 53 square meters. The flat was vacant from 29/03/23 to 24/04/23, a total of 25 days. I received a charge of £248.20 from the company, with my client reference number being 16138221908. During a conversation with a representative, they informed me that I hadn't reported the meter reading and demanded immediate payment. The lady I spoke with was quite rude, insisting that I must pay for the usage, even if I never occupied the flat. She claimed that nobody could assist me and repeatedly asked whom I wanted to speak to. She made it clear that even her manager wouldn't be able to help. I find this situation quite astonishing and feel compelled to share my experience with the world.

I called Scottish Power to be able to understand my bill because looks like per 3 months comes huge amounts and I really I want to understand for what I pay as there it was £619.82 just for gas for periods of 3 months which May and June I didn't used the heating at whole, just hot water. I would like to mention that Alex from Scottish Power answered to me between 11:00-12:00, he did explained to me for what I am paying, much exactly what I can also see on the statement. By the end of our conversation he's telling me in a very rude way to pay today. But who is he to tell me this ? I did tell him that I will change my supplier as a client not just for one property...but he didn't even try to say something nice like to "to keep " the clients but spoke even more rude. Because of his attitude I will change my supplier.

I just moved into a 2 bed new build property, on the paper work for the property it says I have really good energy rating. I have now been here 3 weeks and Scottish power have slapped me with a £331 bill for 3 weeks of me being here for both gas and electric. I’m good with electric I turn everything off when it’s not being used and with the gas I only got my gas cooker installed 2 weeks ago and me and my son have showers every other day. I’ve been on the phone today to 3 different people and they have been absolutely useless don’t go to Scottish power in changing soon as possible

I would strongly advice you KEEP AWAY..They will lie from the start.Joined 2 of my bussinesses in January and was promised reduction in 3 months.No reduction was given.After hours and days of conversations I was told I can leave by two seperate members of staff.That was also denied I was told I was misguided. Havnt had my monthly bill for 3 months and have requested it every time. HOW CAN THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS???? I am taking this further..

Recently moved house to find this shower were supplying the property. We decided for ease to continue with Scottish Power, we gave them the initial meter reading on the day we moved in, only to receive a bill for circa £150 after approx 2 weeks. We looked deeper into the bill to find that they are charging us from the last reading they received from the previous occupier. That most definitely is not how it works. We have spoken to them on countless occasions and yet nothing has been done. They are lucky to get 1 star review. If you're unsure about Scottish Power, stay away. We wish we had switched even if it meant paying a bit more. At the very first opportunity we will be leaving this useless outfit.

---5 stars, verify reviews before make an contract with them. Very poor management, very poor customers services. you can get to speak with them only if you want to make a payment or to open an account with them. They don't give a s***t about their customers. They listened to me after I have called them 100 times, and they said will connect me to the right department and hang up all the time. They are rude, someone from customers services has problem with nerves, cannot control, she was yelling and then hang up, very unpleasant. If you have a problem you are not helped by them!! Never again!! I don't recommend.

Recieved emails, texts and a phone call, saying my meter was old, so it was inaccurate and UNSAFE. To then tell the care agent, I'll just take a standard meter replacement, she said "oh, that's OK then, we don't need to do anything"... wait, you just told me my meter was unsafe? "Uh...um...uh...". Wonder how many people they've scared into getting a smart meter. Wonder what else they would do.

The WROST energy company ever in this universal. Impossible to contact via live chat, phone (kept being cut off) or email (never reply). Refund cheque never can receive under the right name but the bill can. It's a criminal gang.

Disgrace. I paid the final bill of £77 for the 2 weeks I lived at the property last year. Now they have magically came up with a new bill 6 months later saying I need to pay £16 more. Multiple times they've threatened me with "final escalations" even though I paid the £77 on time. I have the bank statements and the emails to prove it. £16 has just come out of thin air. I also got the email at 3am in the morning. AVOID the company at all costs, they aren't worth the hassle. Go with Utillita - they're great and never had an issue with them, they also have better and cheaper prices.
