We ordered a £2000 table and chairs in February 2022. At the time we were told the set would arrive in April. April came and went with no contact from them so we queried it. Mid May we received an email to say great news, it was in the warehouse and we would receive a call within the next three days to arrange delivery. 48 hours later we received another call to say there had been a few issues and now the table and chairs won't be delivered until the end of August/start of September. We contacted customer services to query and essentially they'd messed up someone else's order so they gave them our table and chairs! Mid August we called again for an update and were told that the table and chairs would 100% be in the warehouse ready for distribution on 24th August. It's now the 27th August and we've heard nothing so we've called for further information. We've been told that it's not arrived in their warehouse and they'll send an email to query but they expect to get a response within the next 7 days! They've offered us £150 off the price of the goods! We're spending £2000 on a table and chairs, do you think we care about the money?! No! All we want is our table and chairs! Where are they SCS?!

I paid for Aftercare, I was assured that anything that went wrong would be covered. 2 years after I purchased in full for my sofa and the aftercare service I had an issue my sofa sits in full sun when they had to replace a cushion due to the sofa not being built correctly and damaging the sofa and a cushion the rest of of the cushion and sofa are now a different colour and the new cushion is nearly double the thickness of the rest so I cannot use it. I'm not kidding it's nearly double the thickness and 6 times the wrong colour shade I have issues with my back and I am partially disabled so for me to sit on this new cushion it's like my back is breaking. I certainly won't me using this company again and I would like my money back from the so called aftercare. What a joke!

Really upset with SCS we bought Lino that was sold to us as suitable for kitchen and dining room. Great service as we purchased. Fitters came in and fitted poor fitting in certain areas but we didn’t complain at this point but when after being down for 8 months the floor started to lift in areas. Called and scs appeared to care. Sent someone to take photos who “blamed fitters” and asked for fitters to rectify. Took several more calls (initiated by ourselves) eventually sent out fitters who I gave to say I have never come across such rude scruffy and unprofessional people. They took a couple of photos and said “not our fault” now escalated to manager who without looking at the floor had taken the unprofessional fitters work that the floor is lifting due to table and chairs being on the floor???? Wait a minute is that not what a floor is for? Funrnture on it? This was sold to us as the perfect flooring for a kitchen and dining room? Can I ask what normally goes in a dining room? I am escalating this to tracing standards I have never had such terrible aftercare. SCS you should hang your head in shame this is disgraceful treatment of customers!

WARNING do not buy from ScS. Please for your own sake do not waste your money buying furniture from these people. I foolishly bought the Lucca, it lasted 2 years before the cushions collapsed and the colour came off.

I am absolutely disgusted with the way this company runs. And the qaulity of there goods. We got sent a suite which was damaged in transit. So was stuck with it until new suite was ordered. Then the replacement came. What a bag of poo it is. Trying to stay polite. Stitching all wrong and crooked. Material all loose and baggy. Insufficient stuffing. Poor qaulity material. This is an inferior replacement to an identical suite that was returned. Upholster came out. And agreed. Structurally was sound. But material wasn't stretched. Stuffing insufficient. Stitching not smoth etc etc. So we waiting for scs. One week. Nothing. So I rung and emailed. Would deal with it as a matter of urgency. There technician was reading the report. 2 weeks later nothing. So i ring again. Only to be told . Yeah we made a decision. Forgot to tell you. We not doing anything. The suite is adequate. Go away. No point appealing we won't change our mind. Absolutely shocking company. I will never return. And encourage everyone else to avoid these cowboys.

The most disgusting company ever selling the worst quality sofas and will not take responsibility at all. Rip off company, stay well clear from this crooks. I couldn’t rate them worse enough. They shouldn’t be legally allowed to operate as a business.

Had 2 suites from them in 6 years and both have delaminated. Advised by staff when it happened the first time that they had been aware of the fault but this had now been rectified. Agreed to have second suite and surprise surprise, same thing happens. I would never purchase from SCS again.

Bought endurance 3 seater sofa and chair. Waited nearly 7 months since order. Told it would take 3 months. They are made and come from Asia. Shipping and brexit to blame. The sofa sinks and a gap at the back. Told this is the design and allow 20% for with using it. This is Endurance myste which looked attractive in shop. Wish I had ferreted a British made suite. SCS need to buy British made.

ScS are a very bad company its a good job they advertise on TV because they would not get customers from word of mouth there are complaints groups every where about them facebook etc be warned do not buy from this vile company with no custome service once they have your money you as a customer are history.

Ordered suite on 9th Jan . Finally arrived damaged and in unfit state. Homeserve came and took fotos. They even said disgrace! We keep foning and requesting an uplift and money back as really appalling the way we been treated! No one knows anything and can’t be bothered! Well in my eyes this is theft! Worst ever company ! Don’t think anyone has had training ! STAY CLEAR !!!!!

I ordered 2 sofas on 1st January today is the 11th July and I’m still waiting ! Very poor is a understatement…they keep changing the date of when they are ment to be delivered to there warehouse and only email me the day after the date!

Pity you can't put no stars on the review. I have had my delivery date for two sofas put back four times, It is now over 4 months since I ordered them. I tried to cancel the order but was told that I would have to pay a penalty of £600 if I did. Shame you can't make them pay a penalty for every time they put the date back. Would never shop with them again and would discourage anyone else doing so. SCS, do the world a favour and shut up shop.

We purchased a leather sofa from SCS. After 5 years the leather started to peel off, very slight at first and now there are big patches missing all over the sofa. We went into SCS and explained the problem and they explained there was a manufacturing issue with the sofa we purchased, due to the leather laminating process, the leather was peeling off hence they pulled the product. I asked how long they would cover such an issue and was advised that a problem like this would always be covered. However, upon contacting their customer service, they explained the warranty had passed and they would not do anything further. I was amazed at such behavior when they knew they were selling defective products. So obviously SCS will never have our custom again and I hope this feedback saves a few others from this terrible product backed by a terrible service.

Avoid this company at all costs!! We’ve had to have Homeserve out twice to fix our sofas because the framework collapsed on our 3 seater AND our 2 seater! Cushions all frayed after a few months too! These sofas weren’t cheap and they have been rushed by cowboys! AVOID!!

If I could give 0 stars i would. After 4.5 months of waiting, the table and chairs arrive. I paid for the tables and chairs to be built, boxes to be disposed but delivery men left the items and disappeared. Called scs and told them was expecting it to be fitted to which the rude woman said they don’t have time and would need to come back another time. Excuse me, we just waited so long for this to arrive, and also took time off work to be here and without prior notice, get told they don’t have time to fit and would need to come back another time of accept £160 refund and we would need to fit it. It’s not about the money here, i just wanted the service i paid for. I don't have space to store these items and asked them to take the stuff back and bring it back when they are ready to fit to she said no. The Rude woman (i hope call was recorded) kept going in circles and supposedly no management in, they had all gone home at 4:45pm. NEVER BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! The quality of the products is poor from SCS. My table and chairs had to be bought from here as i was using the insurance cover from the original table. Bought 8 chairs from them 4 years ago (the remini grey Ons) all split at the same place. Rubbish quality. AVOID. The rude woman should not also be employed if that’s her attitude.

I ordered a new suite on 12 March in store. I was told by the salesman that there would be a 14 week wait and the new sofa would be in their distribution centre on 17 June. He then said that would be the very latest day and if anything the date would be sooner. Last month I received an email saying the date of arrival at their distribution centre had changed from the 17th to 20th June. A few weeks later another change in the date, from the 20th to the 24th. I was originally happy to wait the 14 weeks but now the wait is being extended to over a quarter of a year - which is baffling when the company specialize in making and delivering sofas. Add in the fact that they took my deposit payment immediately along with payment for delivery and the delivery date originally planned for has been and gone - with another date also passing us by. I called the customer service team to say I was unhappy and wanted reimbursement for my delivery payment which I made without any fuss but the same can’t be said in return - they refused to reimburse! I’m forking out 2k and they are getting funny over £69. I have received a text message to say our actual home delivery will not be until 29 June! As if I haven’t waited long enough, a sofa that is arriving their end on the 24th will be sitting there for a further 5 days before they decide to deliver! Not only that, I can’t even choose a suitable date or time of when I will be home or arrange a time around my work schedule. I will be receiving a text with an allocated time slot of THEIR choosing! I paid £69 for delivery but for some reason I don’t get to call any of the shots. I have to work around them! Delivery is already late but because SCS want to wait another week before loading it onto the van I just have to accept it. I would love to know what I actually got out of paying the delivery fee. I’ve got no doubt the gentlemen that deliver the sofa will be great and I will love the sofa once it’s here but to keep someone waiting another 5 days when it’s already late is unfair.

Dreadful - flawed carpet, poorly fitted. Replaced was flawed and fitting cancelled with no communication to me. Finally flawed carpet uplifted on 2 nd June - still waiting for refund on 18 th June. No carpet no refund. Customer services very poor - if you make a complaint the response is to go to a third party. Shabby and unprofessional.

TERRIBLE SERVICE AND CARPET NOT FITTED PROPERLY EVEN THOUGH THE FITTER HAS CAME 3 TIMES TO DO IT AND ITS STILL NOT RIGHT AND HAD TO HAVE A SURVEYOR COME TO ASSESS IT AND NOW BEEN TOLD THAT THE SAME FITTER HAS TO COME YET ANOTHER TIME TOTALING 4 TIMES............BARE IN MIND I HAD TO PAY A FITTING FEE ON MY PURCHASE,ITS A JOKE,TERRIBLE SERVICE NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN AND APPARENTLY ONLY 10% OF REVIEWS ARE POSTED.......IS NT THAT A SURPRISE.

Ordered the whisper 3 + 2 seater sofas having seen and sat on them extensively in the showroom. Sofas were delivered on time however were much lower than seen and by dimensions online. I phoned customer service and revisited the Glasgow store to be told that dimensions are approx. I advised them that the suite was bought to suit my back problems and my sisters hip and knee replacements and that the suite was too low to the ground being 3inches shorter than advertised and that you had to ‘launch’ yourself out of suite or get help to get up. I was given a story by a ‘qualified ‘ upholsterer that as I had bought the more expensive foam filling it reduced the padding therefore reducing the height of the suite!?!?!? So buying the better more expensive model was in effect my own fault! No liability accepted by the company for a suite not built to dimensions or remotely to size in comparison to showroom model, I’m now left with a suite that is basically no good to me and as paid for in cash company does not care! DO NOT BUY from this company !!!
