Absolutely awful service. I cannot advise enough not to purchase carpet through SCS. We placed an order in store and we explained we were moving to a new house. The Sales Exec advised us to place an order straight away based on floor plans as there was a delay in carpet production. He also offered us a discount if we did the deal there and then. 6 months later our carpet arrives and all the sizing is wrong. Instead of handling my complaint with an ounce of customer service, I was told I made the order at my own rush based on floor plans and wished me luck in raising this complaint any further. I now have £1,000s worth of carpets that do not fit and have joins because we cannot afford to buy it again. They are the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with and would recommend going anywhere but SCS.

Everything! From the start trouble with delivering, finally received then after 3 months the paint started pealing and stitching coming away! The fact that it is bonded leather and NOT REAL LEATHER! Got a technician out to be told “I’m sitting on it too much, and kicking it” I kid you not!!! I took them to court and won!!!! All made in China now very poor quality even the lazy boy range, they will lie to your face blatantly I’ve NEVER had to deal with a shop so bad in my life look on fb at SCS complaints they owe thousands to people AVOID AVOID AVOID

Terrible service, don't reply to emails , lie, don't respond to complaints, hold on to your money! I'm awaiting refund for deposit for a no sofa £500! refund for a broken ring door bell that delivery drivers damaged £170! Delivery drivers ripped sofa trying to deliver which they said was a refused delivery! Compensation payment of £135! Just lies and lies that's from head of customer services Rachel browns department, ceo office Margaret doesn't get back to you either! I've provided ring door bell evidence too! Get a grip just avoid at all costs, I'm at my wits end! Sat on garden furniture for months! Shocking horrible experience no support! Nothing just a heap of lies and failings on the part of scs! I STILL HAVE NO REFUND!!!! NO REFUND!!! STILL HAVE NO REFUND!!!

So much rubbish came out of the salespersons mouth. Insurance isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. He said you’re covered for everything, in fact we are covered for nothing. Over priced rubbish furniture. Paid extra for better cushions, waste of money, furniture creaks, out of shape cushions, might as well be sitting on the floor. Go somewhere else do not buy this rubbish.

Ordered a footstool to go with the suite in December 2021. Delivery date keeps being changed - latest now arriving at distribution centre 14/3/22. Goodness knows when delivery date will be. I opened a chat online but when I was about to submit my query a message appeared that the operator named SAM had left the chat! Very unprofessional and very poor customer service.

Avoid at all costs. They were brilliant in their shop whilst taking my order and money for a few thousand pounds., But as soon as I had problems after that, they weren't in the slightest bit interested. Just getting pushed from pillar to post and they never do anything. Months of repeatedly contacting them and no further forward. Their customer service is non existent. SCS have proven to me that they produce shoddy sofas and when there is a fault they refuse to except it and refuse to fix the problem. I've been in contact with SCS trying to get them to repair a dicoloured sofa. I bought it as leather but when cleaned with the products scs provided the dye comes off the surface leaving a patchy mess. I may as well of paid for a plastic suite. All I want is a suite fit for purpose which i can be proud of and you can sit on without the brown dye coming away, even their insurance assor agreed with me. On evaluation it's a waste of my hard earned money as NHS front line staff.

6 months in with our new settee cushions going out of shape to the point they're uncomfortable, even after flipping them over. Had an inspector round and he even said they weren't right and agreed with us we opted for the cushion as apposed to foam as it was comfier and we've had settees in the passed that lasted alot longer than this cheap rubbish they've used. Anyway after the inspector finished and agreed with us and even said someone should be out to replace affected cushions the head office emailed saying it's down to 'normal wear' and not willing to do anything for us I won't be using scs again should of read the reviews of this rubbish company before hand but thanks for letting me know what a rubbish company you really are and customer satisfaction is something you don't care about

where to start .....disaster from the beginning...wrong name email address wrong, at point of sale. Delivery was a disaster, was supposed to receive it all together. Did not receive part of order until 96 hours later bang goes the 72 hour deadline. Laminate flooring not good quality two boxes were damaged.(more than likely when deliver man dropped them coming out the van). also the door ramp profiles facias are fablon. laminate easily chipped and scratched.I will not get 18 years out of this flooring.thats for sure. big disappointment. I am awaiting my sofa which to be honest I am dreading.

Ordered a chair ( and not cheap) in September . It is now February .. when I phoned because they kept delaying , I said I would like a refund . I was told in no uncertain terms that I would not get a refund , he said not now ,, not if it is late and not if it is damaged .. well can honestly say do not even want the chair now,, what an experience.. AVOID AVOID AVOID .

I would most definitely not recommend scs,my suite was ordered last october and 4 cancellations 1 shop visit with the most arrogant manager i've ever had the misfortune to meet 3 phone calls and 5 months gone by i still have not recieved and we are now in february

I’ve tried to write two clear reviews on their site about service and both times the reviews have been ‘moderated’ and not published. Here is what I had to say on the last one: Carpet fine, service poor Estimator did not turn up, SCS did not have record of appointment. Made new appointment, estimator came, did not hear back, chased store and managed to order carpet. Delays in arrival, with no communication. Can’t speak to store on phone have to go through customer services that don’t have info. Here is the first one: Never again SCS are the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Estimator not turning up, no communication, can’t speak to the local branch and customer service don’t pass on messages. Was not a smooth process.

You reviewed ScS Sofas Add photo Ann Parkinson 8 reviews 1 star: Bad Updated just now Don't buy anything not even a… Don't buy anything not even a paperclip from SCS they are a gang of liers who produce shoddy sofas and when there is a fault which is due to them they refuse to except it and refuse to fix it. 8 months I've been in contact with SCS trying to get them to fix a peeling sofa and it's been 8 months of hell my panic attacks have doubled and my depression has massively increased 10 fold. All I want is a sofa fit for purpose a sofa you can sit on without half the leather coming away, even their engineers think they are a band of rubbish. This sofa was bought in Feb 2020 delivered in September 2020 so it is just over a year old and I have been chasing them about this since June 2021. If you want a sofa worth it's value don't and I repeat Don't chose SCS fastest over £800 down the drain. If you want to hear the phrase accidental damage just by sitting on their sofas then buy from them. If you value your money and your mental health don't buy anything off them. Don't ask to speak to a manager as even their customer service representatives confirm they won't speak to you they don't like speaking to customers and all you get is a generic email refusing to do anything even though an hour and a half before it had been agreed.I am seriously thinking of getting a van putting the sofa in it and driving around shops and showing customers what you are buying and then telling them of the 8 months of hell I've had to put up with. I've sent a letter to their MD I'm desperate for a sofa that doesn't look like it's come from a skip their engineers tell you to your face it's a fault with the leather but by the time it reaches SCS customer service it changes to your fault accidental damage as they call it funny that

The worst company ever. Sofa came with threads hanging off and Within a month my sofa looked awful despite following the care advice. I was told ‘it doesn’t matter how bad your sofa looks, it’s not classed as a fault’. Customer service is shocking. They came out on the 4th time I asked someone to inspect the sofa after I contacted the finance company and said everything was fine. Inspector said he’s third party and they decide, not him.

Will not refund EVER! That’s why they’re not signed up to the furniture ombudsman-they can and do treat customers badly and can get away with it. Would never buy a bean from them in future

I'm so disappointed in SCS, ordered in July 2021.. was advised itd be here by October 2021.. then itll be November.. then December.. now March.. the tracking is incorrect as it keeps changing so just dont trust it. Customer service is pot luck some nice some who dont care. The store are not helpful. Iv been struggling emotionally and mentally and this has contributed too it

Poor service from start to end. Sofa and carpet took 4 months to deliver and fit, which is expected at the moment with covid. However, I was not updated about delays until I contacted through the online form twice. On which I specifically requested email responses due to working hours and still recieved phone calls that I missed. Tried calling back but it's too late and doesn't go straight through to the store. After writing a poor review on Google, I was contacted by the complaints team and they were helpful. Until I eventually had my carpet fitted and sofa installed. The contractors used left the light on and windows open over night in my new build flat, left thier rubbish (plastic bottle and bits of carpet everywhere) and left a mark in the toilet bowl. Contacted the complaints team and they could only apologise. Was hoping for a gesture of goodwill because I like the deals they offer and want to be a repeat/loyal customer, but won't be returning after this horrific experience.

Well what can I say , went straight into the Milton Keynes store Winter hill SCS . Met by Dave who I would say was outstanding and friendly ( was nice rather than the strong sales talk). More like a friend totally understood what I was looking for and my budget.I cannot fault the staff in SCS absolutely wonderful service. NO worries will pop in just to say hi thanks again.

Went to castle vale to buy a sofa on a late night and when I walked in I noticed 2 men one was fast asleep 💤 and the other one a middle aged man was sitting upstairs looking at his computer . The one on the computer didn’t acknowledge me and I walked through the whole shop . And the other one well 🙄 as you can imagine I went to DFS and bought my sofa from there THANKS SCS !!!

Brought £3500 worth of lazy boy furniture 6 mouths ago motors on the recliners are noisy chairs lopsided the quality of the furniture is not good at all SCS aftercare is rubbish an engineer from SCS inspected the furniture to tell us this is normal they just won't answer e mails showroom manager can't help go buy from some else
