When we built our home 6 years ago we bought a Kenmore Elite 30cu ft. Refrigerator. I spent neatly $4,000 including tax and delivery. Two months ago it quit heated my food and left my with hot defrosted and ruined food. I called my warranty company which is Choice Home Warranty. They called Sears to repair it. Today im 2 months with no repair. Today they canceled my appointment and rescheduled. FOR ANOTHER MONTH!!!! Now they arent coming until October 29th. Three months is totally unreasonable for repair. This fridge was built with an LG compressor which is part of a class action lawsuit. Dont ever buy from Sears. They dont care at all about you after the sale is made. Run away as fast as you can or you'll be sorry. If you already did buy one if wish you luck.

Brand new refrigerator purchased. Freezer would not seal, kept icing up. Called for service, repairman came out, ordered a new seal and freezer door. Door backordered so they eventually sears scheduled delivery for a replacement refrigerator. Same make and model delivered and installed. Two hours later, freezer cold but fresh food compartment not cooling at all. Called home service and repair could not be scheduled until weeks later. End result, I will never buy from Sears again.

your site keeps erasing my comments! this is the worst customer service experience i have EVER HAD with a company. what should have been an easy fix turned out to be a nightmare because you can't get a hold of them to make changes and they have to ship the order before they can cancel it! SEARS CUSTOMER SERVICE gets an "F" i could not communicate with the company!

Had a technician come out to repair my stove and dishwasher. Technician properly repaired the appliances within an acceptable time. BUT all technicians should be instructed to park their vans on the street. My technician pulled into my asphalt driveway on a hot sunny day and then proceeded to do a "k" turn on my driveway to turn around. There was no need for this and he damaged my driveway. He should have simply backed out of the driveway. Definitely, the dumbest thing I have ever experienced. I had to have my driveway seal coated today to fix the tire tracks that the technician caused.

I’ve been a loyal Sears customer for almost 25 years, but no more. The service I received has been by far the WORST service EVER. I had to have my dishwasher replaced because the one I purchased 2.5 yrs. ago was defective. I purchased the master warranty plan, of which was honored. However, the issue was getting the proper service and support with placing the order and getting it installed. Where do I begin with this horrific experience? First, I totally disrespected by a store clerk at the Sugarland store location. He was rude and totally unprofessional. So much so I personally had to go into the store to get the support I need because while talking to him over the phone he basically told me to shut up and I quote his exact words were "lady you have said enough ". Talk about rude and unprofessional. Second the dishwasher was dropped off, but the removal of the old dishwasher, nor the installation was done. So basically, I have a new dishwasher still in the box in the middle of my kitchen floor. The technician called but never showed up. I waited for the 5 hours. When I called to get answers, nobody could answer my question or help. The service was so bad, that while talking to one of the customer service representatives all I heard in the background was the chicken(s)!!!! Literally. At the end of the day my issue hasn't been resolved, the dishwasher is still in the box and I've yet to receive a call letting me know when job will be completed. Horrible, horrible service!!!!!!!! Signed Very disrespected, unsatisfied, no longer loyal customer

If I could give zero stars I would. From my AC and duct work being installed and them leaving damage to parts of the ceiling, to the now $209 I was charged and told would be refunded. DO NOT USE SEAR FOR YOUR HOME IMPROVEMENT. I recommend running. They have no actual customer service line for help. Absolutely horrendous.

Sears is the worst ever, I brought a refrigerator from them, it took them 4 months before I even received it with numerous follow up calls to them. After receiving it, it only took 1 year before it went bad, fir it stop making ice, then stopped freezing, they are telling me a technician can't do anything over the phone and warranty already expired. This is the worst, I would NEVER recommend anyone to purchase equipment from them.

DO NOT BUY FROM SEARS. They are the worst company to deal with when it comes to repairs. Four months after I purchased an $1,800 washer, I started hearing a rattle when spinning. 2 months later a repair man finally shows. He did nothing but ordered parts. 2 months for parts to arrive then I could finally schedule the repair another 2 months out. The day after the "repair" the entire drum started banging against the door; a much worse condition than before. Quess what? I have to wait another 2 months for a repairman to fix what the other made worse. Now, the slamming of the drum and shaking has damaged my pedestal so the door no longer closes and the washer will not drain, spin, etc. Basically it is dead and I'm having to use a laundromat. When you call to complain, all you can get is their call center persons who are simply service call schedulers. You are given no other recourse. If you buy from them, it better be just a hammer.

I CALLED FOR TUNEUP ON MY RIDING MOWER ANDWAS TOLD THE COST WOULD BE $139. I ASKED ABOUT THE BLADE SHARPENING AND WAS TOLDIT WAS PART OF THE TUNEUP.SO I MADE A APPOINTMENT AND GOT ONE.THE TECHNICIAN ARIVED AND LOOKED AT MY TRACTOR AND TOLD ME IT HAD OTHER ISSUES. SO HE TOLD ME THAT THE COST TO COME OUT WAS $169 PLUS PARTS. SO I SAIDI THINK I MIGHT JUST WAIT BECAUSE THE COST WOULD BE $464 TO FIX IT.SO HE SAID IT WOULD $189 FOR A SERVICE CALL THEN.SO NOTHING WAS DONE AND I HAD TO PAY $464. THERE ARE LOT BETTER ALTERNATIVES THAT I FOUND OUT. YOU CAN NOT EVEN GET TO CUSTOMER SEVICE FOR SOME ITEMS LIKE RIDING MOWERS

I am not one to be negative nor complain, however this is the worst experience I have ever had with a company in my lifetime!!! We scheduled for a simple repair on our oven months ago. The technician came out three times and has yet to repair the problem! We have tried to get some "person" on the phone to discuss all of the issues we have had but no one seems to know what or how to resolve our issues such as, the tech did not show up, he was late one time, had to wait several weeks for parts or someone to even come, to them ordering the wrong parts, giving us false information, sitting in the vehicle and taking a picture of my car saying, I was not home when in fact I was trying to catch him leaving the driveway.... he never even came to my door, then he lied to his manager about his distance from my house to come back and do the repair......etc. I could go on for a while talking about my experience, but long story short..... NOTHING has been repaired!!!!! Frustrated is an understatement!!! We have paid over $700.00 in parts and our oven still not working! Doing business with Sears has been the worst experience ever! As soon as my warranty contract expires, I will NEVER EVER do business with them again!!!!!!!!!!

I got my Sears credit card in 1977. For years we bought all of our major appliances from them. I appreciated that their salespeople were always knowledgeable and professional. Then in 2017 I received a call to trade my Sears card for a Bank Ameri Card with a yearly fee. I declined...not knowing it wasn't a choice. My credit rating was 821...but when they canceled my card after 40 years my credit took a big hit. It was my oldest card. They could have had a customer for life. Now I shop with Amazon and Walmart...it's a pleasure shopping there.

I have been dealing with broken products from Sears for way too long! I purchased a washer in Oct! A new washer went out in 2 weeks. I’ve had 3 techs to come out and order parts and still not working! The last one put in a request for replacement and it’s been a month later and I still have nothing! I have contacted a consumer lawyer because this is outrage and they have the nerve to have an attitude when speaking to reps! They have lied like it’s been replaced and everything. The last one I talked to today stated she don’t see that it has been approved and she don’t know who told me it has! I’m done dealing with these lying people.
