They are a Horrible Company. Have had to deal with them multiple times and they have ooor communication. They lie and send you false hope texts and they ignore your calls . You never get to speak to your examiner. They cause more stress and anxiety then I already have. I never want to deal with them again. They need everyone to file a lawsuit against them for their horrible business practices. They dont listen to your Drs or you. They drag you on where you are not able to pay your bills just because they dont want to mess with your claims or come up with excuses. Im over it. Im at the point where I am ready to file a lawsuit for emotional distress. I am the only one working and suffer from anxiety panic attacks and depression and they are causing me to be more sick dealing with their lowzy tactics. Sedwick needs shutdown for good. Stop falsifying peoples lifes and what their Drs are telling you.

They refused my short term disability after delivery of my child. They also refused my FMLA after delivery of my child. My own husband had accepted FMLA with his company on me before I even had FMLA on myself. I'm the one recovering from child labor! Everyone on these reviews should get a lawyer and file a huge lawsuit against this company. Put them out of business. They deserve to rot like they let their customers who've struggled with their own personal health issues and had no support.

My hubby was hurt. His job unfortunately uses Sedgewick for short term disability claims. His case manager told us we needed a letter from the state that either says approved or denied. Not once did he say you need to go through the state in order to get paid. They are very vague with how things work and trying to get your case manager to call back is a nightmare. We called twice and got 2 completely different answers about his case. So if you live in the State of Washington as soon as you file a disability claim with these idiots you have to file with the state immediately in order to get paid. They do not tell you this. After reading other reviews it seems like they do put customers first anyways.

Took Paternity leave, my representative rarely answered the phone and there was no way to leave a message. Also they told me I had 10 days remaining of leave and I asked to use them and all it was approved. When I took those days they never informed me I in fact only had 8 days left and only emailed my supervisor saying my return to work day was 2 days earlier then what was discussed so now I have to use my personal days to cover 2 full days of pay off due to sedgwicks errors. Also the website tracker for used and available days is never correct do NOT go by that it says i still have 6 weeks available.

My travel trailer was hit by a Cinta vehicle (insured by Sedgwick) on 5/23/23 while driving in Phoenix. I have left multiple phone messages and have been unable to speak with an adjuster, supervisor or director to discuss my damage. No one has returned my calls.

I have been dealing with sedgwick since February and I only had one adjuster that was rude and didn’t answer any emails , questions etc and they was Clancy. As far as Ms Paire Watts , Janet Vickroy , Patricia Soto and Christine Goode they were all such a help ! Answered any questions I had , gave updates without me having to reach out and were overall kind making the process seamless. Just giving y’all hope that they aren’t all rude ! Thank you ladies for your help

Sedgwick is a fraud. My claims adjuster calls my doctor and strong arms him to change my medical status without even notifying me. Then my doctor cancels my appt and claims adjuster threatens to stop my workers comp pay because I wasn’t able to reschedule in 2 weeks due to how busy the doctor was to reschedule. They are a complete fraud and need to be sued.

Sedgwick is very unprofessional and does not deliver what they claim they do. I was involved in a vehicle accident 4/1/23. Claim agents Licia Dolan-Velotta and Amber Douangboupha will not update me of the status of the claim and they’re ignoring my emails. Sedgwick if you’re claiming to do good business and handling auto repairs in a quality manner, why haven’t my claim representatives done anything to help move the property damage repair to my vehicle? The actions of your agents are a reflection of your company.

This place is a joke. Was approved for intermittent days. When I finally use it. It says I'm approved for only 8hr shifts. I rarely work 8hrs, usually 12 hour shifts. The standard was way better.

I have been dealing with them since April for a claim under Buffalo Wild Wings because I fell in their Lincoln NE location due to a rug that should not have been on the floor anymore since was rippled and didn’t lay flat. I have been given the run around by Brash Russell at Sedgwick. On May 23 I received an email that my claim would have a decision in 2 to 3 business days and now it’s 6/6 and still no email from Sedgwick. I sent an email to the CEO today. I will see what happens now. I’m ready to find a lawyer since I broke ribs when I fell at the location.

My name is Mrs. Thompson, I'm a 59 year old who has worked since I was 14 years old and never had to file a claim for Disability before. But on 6/3/23, in the early evening this past Saturday at about 1:20 pm, I was on the phone with a lovely lady name Diwana, I hope I got her name right because she went above and beyond to help me file a "Short Term Disability Claim" We had almost finished up when the call disconnected, I prayed I gave her enough information for her to call back but I still decided I'd call back anyway. While I tried to call back knowing that I may have to go through it all again, Diwana calls me back! Thank you Jesus! Anyway, for you company to have someone like her, that would go beyond the call of what she had to do was amazing and she should be well honored for this, commended for her courteous polite attitude and patient manner. Thank you so much Diwana! And God bless!

This company is obviously purposely run to drive (injured/ill) customers completely insane. There are zero ethics being put into this company, and Amazon should be ashamed of themselves for continuing to use Sedgewick. The employees we dealt with at Sedgewick either believe the lies they told us, or they're evil. It's a total mind f*ck to deal with them on any level.

When I first took my leave I asked for short term disability, Sedgwick filed it as an intermittent leave. When I was finally able to talk to someone that actually listened she informed me it was now a new claim. For real??!! So I had to take another set of forms to my PCP to fill out for me. The first set of papers were faxed by my PCP 3 times. I finally had to go to my job for them to be faxed a 4th time. The weird thing about it is I was told it was approved, but now with the new set of documents it's under review yet again! Are they taking the money out of their pockets to pay for my claim? I really was gullible enough to think they were going to do the right thing. My bad!! It counts against your FMLA and the only ones that benefit from it is my employer. Could someone please explain to me why they don't follow the federal government guidelines and get away with it. The ADA was put into place to protect those unable to work. I'm far from finished with this. My late husband was an attorney and I am a nurse by profession. My husband taught me well about discriminating against people with disabilities.

HORRIBLE COMPANY. The worst experience I’ve ever had getting time off for having a baby. State of CA EDD is much easier to deal with than Sedgwick. I was approved and paid no problem at all from California. Best of luck to anyone having to deal with the worst claims company ever.

They act like your emergency is important but when the medical review comes, bam, you have very little coverage. They need to me proactive in getting the information from the medical field. The medical field is all scared about workman's comp lawsuits.

Sedgwick is the absolute worst company on the planet. Where should I begin? 2 years ago, my son was diagnosed with a rare aggressive form of brain cancer and I had to take a leave of absence while my son fought for his life and almost died three times. I took a claim out with Sedgwick and it took them 3 months of me fighting with them while my son was fighting for his life to even get paid. They took all of my PTO and took over 3 months to pay me. Flash Forward to now when I had to take another claim because I injured my shoulder at work. They have only paid me twice and have again taken all of my PTO when they weren't suppose to. They stopped paying me because they said my doctor never sent over any paperwork that was needed when my doctor has sent everything over four times. I have spoke with multiple people at Sedgwick and all of them have denied ever getting any paperwork, said they sent it to me when they didn't and instead send it to me a month after it was needed along with closing my claim and not paying me for almost 2 months. I called multiple times and every time I am told something different. I contacted my doctor's office and they sent me everything that was sent to Sedgwick and they still are telling me they never received anything. I've been unable to pay any bills because they refuse to get my claim in order and pay me. I would never wish this company on my worst enemy.

Sedgwick is the WORST company I have EVER dealt with. Donna is rude and left rude voicemails all of the time because we had to re submit paperwork 15 times as the agents kept telling incorrectly. In the last week I had the system tell me I have no claim, get an agent who did not notate the "manual form" he submitted for an absence so they have to "review the call" had another agent hang up on me, and they LOST the fax my son's doctor sent over and I had to go re print, deliver and help her fill it out all because the agent she called to walk her through it again told her wrong info to begin with (and she didn't want to re submit 15 times like last year) they also literally told her to LIE on official paperwork which is ILLEGAL.
