Atrocious. I wish I could leave 0 stars as a review. Poorly staffed where you will wait on hold for a very long time. Our vehicle was hit by an individual Sedgwick had insured and we are doing all of the work to get this processed. Zero solutions, zero help in partnering with us and again, we do the work and they provide excuses. To make it better, the adjuster assigned to us quit in the middle of it all and no one told us and we’ve had to wait on hold for 2 hours to get it covered by someone else and I’m still waiting for a follow up. No excuse for this lack of competence.

Don't trust sedgwick they are lier unprofessional racist becarful is you get Lexus Newhouse or marray Barnes the adjuster they are the most lying and ghetto racist person Newhouse does not know her job she lazy and an lier. Ms Barnes she just dumb telling not to get an lawyer

I've been dealing with them for 5 years now after a work injury in 2017. They are absolutely horrible to deal with. They have cut off my work comp benefits three times now with no notice. They won't even respond to emails or phone calls from my attorney. My attorney had to file an emergency hearing to get my benefits started again and they have not responded to that either. I never want to deal with these people again. So rude and disconnected from what their job is. This company is a disgrace and should be under investigation for poor work ethics and deceiving people. They need to be shut down.

I've paid for short term disability and had retinal surgery. They have caused undue financial hardship with my check as I was to be paid 70% of my working pay. Only after calling them because my check was short did I find out 12 days before the 30 day period they needed more documents. Still not clear of dates they need as this will cost more money to get printed. They have caused great distress through notifying you 12 days before the due date what you need to give them which is virtually unattainable at this point. ( could have been prevented by letting me know at beginning of 30 day period.) No help whatsoever due to lack of communication in a timely manner. Untimely return of phone calls. Communicated through u.s. mail, emails,(fax number did not work for two weeks) called and called finally got another fax number. Two weeks later then my claim was closed. Just making their money off of working people who pay into short term disability I guess. Unprofessional, very unhelpful especially for the few weeks I was off of work. Very stressful. I hope they never have to make a claim and deal with this type of nonsense when they get older. So much for professionalism or work ethic. Thank you for nothing and you know who you are and what you do and how you treat others. May this never be done to you.

On STD for medical issues. No communication with Dr office. Doctor faxing documents and Sedgwick saying three days later “must not be uploaded in your file yet”. Website is constantly having Technical Difficulties. Get email saying I have new messages in mysedgwick, then can’t get on website

If I could give them a minus zero I would. They take 2 weeks to approve 1 day of intermittent leave, but if you call 1 second after 24 hours, they'll deny your claim. Worst company EVER

The worst company to deal with. They caused more stress than anything. No one should ever have to deal with them when they are sick. Horrible company horrible representatives. Wendy I think is a robot. No emotion no personality. Did not care one bit how upset I was . I hope I never have to deal With them again.

Sedgwick has no customer service at all i would have rated them a 0 but i couldn't do that and the review go thru. De Wana Woods Claims examiner is crazy and has no customer service! She sends me a letter saying claim denied and unless i have more evidence my claim is denied. Well first of all she has never spoke to me to see what evidence i have! Second the At&T representative is a complete liar because he had did something else that he lied about and after i questioned him about it then this next accident happened and he completely lied about that, but the claim was for no more than a 100 dollars, and i was about to get a iphone thru At&T which i would have been paying $100 per month, but not now after dealing with their scam claims service they use Sedgwick. Now i want my claim reopened with a reputable representative that has enough sense to talk to both people involved before making a decision. And this De Wanna needs to be fired because she doesn't know what she is doing!

I've paid into disability/injury coverage for years because I didn't want any surprises. Now that I actually need it, they're doing everything they can to stall and deny my claim. Read the other reviews too. Your case manager will NEVER return you calls or messages. The reps you speak to are clueless and direct you to leave yet ANOTHER message for the case manager. They claim to "lose" key documentation, never update you, post false time windows for when your claim will have a decision by... on and on. The icing is when I called after a month because my claim still said pending (read UNPAID), and was told it's because they don't cover time off due to the actual injury, or for the conservative treatments my surgeon recommended I try first. To recap, to get any of my pay, I'd have to forgo conservative treatment options, schedule a risky surgery, remain UNPAID for 2 months because thats how long surgery takes to schedule... and on the day of surgery they'll review the claim. IF you're approved, they'll start paying from the date of surgery until your return to work. So 2 months unpaid, never knowing if you'll ever be approved until you wake up from after surgery.

California Department of Insurance complaint # 8347467. I work in the insurance restoration industry. Sedgwick is by far the worst company to deal with. As usual your company completely fails at properly & fairly to handle an insurance claim. Katherine has deliberately failed to contact & resolve a very simple payment. The only way to get any insurance company to take appropriate action is to file a complaint with the DOI. I am also I licensed property & casualty insurance agent. I am fully aware of code & ethics, insurance laws, & process. I have emails showing you can not do your job. Now you can deal with the state investigator.

Worst experience ever! I was hit by a rental car (Avis budget group) and sedgewick is who they use. I got hit in January and I’ve had to do everything basically on my own. The claim adjuster I worked with was mostly in helpful most of the time. No phone numbers to call people when you need to and delayed emails responses. I would tell you to have your insurance company go after theirs as they are impossible to deal with. This whole company is shady and awful. Bless the body shop for taking over dealing with them after they refused to speak to the body shop.

No contact from case manager only Use text messages from case manager Stating they could not get in contact with me when no one ever called me. Just look for a reason to deny your claim no contact

They refuse to accept medical records and Drs notes telling of health issues to issue payments. I recommend to start off with finding a good attorney to deal with these people. They will do there best to violate the Americans with disability act. You may as well Sue them and your employer.

The most unethical company you can deal with. Expecting an agreed minor payment to be paid for 8 months. There is no one to talk to via phone or email.

Unfortunately, I was involved with a at fault Sedgwick insured driver. After being treated very poorly, including being ignored by Megan, Sedgwick (Loretta) sent me an agreement (with official Sedgwick letterhead), which after simply asking for payment, they later reneged and would not honor their own word. Now I am forced to take further legal action, but I would advise all to avoid this very unethical company, Sedgwick.
