You will likely never see a dime from the is company. They strung me along for months making it seem as though I would be getting at least some of my lost wages just to send me a letter saying I didn't meet the criteria. SCAM! The company as a whole should be shut down. I hurt my back in July and absolutely could not sit so I couldn't make it to the doctor until about a week later when I could manage walking and sitting. I was out of work for two weeks and returns with limitations. I was immediately told I wouldn't get any compensation for the week before I saw a doctor, which was ridiculous but at least I'd get some pay for the following week. Everyone I spoke to said something to the effect of I met the qualifications and should be getting 70% of my average hours for the one week after seeing a doctor. I submitted the doctors notes multiple times to multiple people all the while kind of annoyed but being urged that I should be hearing something soon and I should be getting compensation. I finally submitted the paperwork yet again and waited and waited and waited. I finally got a letter here in January of the next year stating that I didn't meet the waiting period of one week. Complete nonsense. It's an excuse not to pay for a legitimate inability to work and I'm not easily stopped from going to work. I asked coworkers about their experience and they all said the same thing, Sedwick doesn't pay and they make you jump through hoops just to find that out. I hope they get shut down and an honest business that actually helps those who legitimately need help takes its place. TERRIBLE

Everything. We’re on our 7th account Manager and still not getting anywhere! Claim has been opened for over 15 months and still no resolution. Keep requesting the same days over and over!

We have had nothing but problems with them. Same issues as listed by others. They claim that forms weren’t received or requests for information not forwarded. We’ve had to deal with this for four years. Horrible company!

Sedgwick gets a ZERO. They have not paid my medical bill from 2019. They will not call me back when I leave messages. They plan on keeping monies set aside for me, for medical bills,over 100,000. Embarrassed for Sedgwick.

The claims Adjuster Kelley Anderson was unprofessional she would not call us back my daughters car got hit in Aug bye an 18 wheeler took till December to get her truck fixed called her Supervisor left messages sent emails no return calls ask for rental car while car was In The shop adjuster ignored my daughter these people are unprofessional and in the wrong business I’ve never seen a company like this in my Life they deserve 0 stars they try to wear you down so you will give up they pretend like they’re doing all the right things.

Where is the ZERO star? What an incompetent, useless bunch! I keep getting phone calls and texts almost every couple of days asking them same questions with no resolution. "WE DIDN'T RECEIVE THE PAPERWORK FROM YOUR SURGEON'S OFFICE ". No kidding. So, it was faxed a third time. Rep confirmed receipt. Next day, text came in. Phone call came in. "WE DIDN'T RECEIVE THE PAPERWORK FROM YOUR SURGEON'S OFFICE ". "Someone is going to call you back." I am still waiting. I have been out of work for over five full weeks. All I get are phone calls, texts, but no funds. Who hires these folks? Who trains them? Is this for real. I am so very frustrated now that I cannot even call anymore to check the status of my claim. I have truly and honestly given up.

Worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. I have done absolutely everything they have asked me to do, they have repeatedly promised that all my bills will get taken care of but then they never do what they promised and all my bills got sent to collection. I have been calling several times a month since September of 2022 and the issue still has not been resolved. They act as if I made a mistake only for them to ask for the EXACT same stuff that I have already done countless times. My provider has constantly changed and they all have made me false promises and reassure me that everything will get fixed but it never does.

Had to take a leave of absence due to company policy on Covid-19 for two weeks. I had a positive Covid-19 test yet apparently that is not enough evidence for paid two weeks off. I had to get medical certification forms filled out by my healthcare provider even though it was an at-home Covid test I took and I didn't have to go to a hospital for the test. Even after getting these forms filled and sent off to them they still denied my claim, so I essentially lost two weeks of pay for following my employer's own policy. They are a terrible and confusing company to work with and I would never recommend them after this horrible experience.

if I could have given a zero I would have! Garlene sucked from the start!! No communication, weeks to approve the claim! Never received our last check from 2 months ago. She’s been blowing us off for weeks!! 🤬

I have put in for parental leave, as I have a baby boy on the way and it is really upsetting that they decide to give you 4 weeks paid that includes the my days off. Would be nice to give 28 work days paid off. Don’t include the days I would be off. Pitiful.

This company doesn’t care about your health. We are spending too much time for anything. Plus that company Sedgwick violated all human rights. And give the misery life and the claim process. I hope some lawyers make a law suit for this company and any case the government will be able to get it right now. Because the Sedgwick hurt and play with the people civil rights. This company is a legal scammers 🤢🤮💩😈

The adjuster couldnt find the initial report after it was given to them and it was recorded. This copany should be put out of business for deceitful practices. They do not help the workers. They dont try to help because they deny the claims so they dont have to pay out. Its deceitful and the companys they represent are deceitful. Too bad one of the ceos dont get hurt and have to suffer the consequences of their own company. That would be karma wouldnt it?

Sedgwick has the worst customer service ever I had a claim with them over 2 years ago Darlene Acosta, Liability Claims Adjuster was extremely rude she hung up the phone on me multiple times she was lazy and didn't follow up with claims and finally she closed my case extremely rude if she had been working in my company she would be fired long time AGO

Simply terrible! They are not professionals, they don’t know anything! They always switch the call to someone who is not there and then they say that they will call me back, but no one calls... They do not check the uploaded documents and everything needs to be done by calling again. They check and read the rules right on the line with you, when they should know it right here and now. Communication with them is terrible because they use cheap IP telephony. I don't understand why different companies deal with a company like this. especially with such a trash rating… -5*

These people will do anything in their power to deny your claim. First they told me I filed it incorrectly, stating I filed for “dissatisfaction” which isn’t covered when I explicitly told them I was filing because the product failed. I appealed and told them they were wrong. They then stated I wasn’t covered under that because the device had a battery and somehow magically batteries aren’t covered in warranty’s (hint hint, they are). What a waste of my time.

I got Covid-19 12-6-23. Went to doctor and tested positive. I Filled for LOA, doctor said to quarantine for 5 days and then wear a mask for 5 days. I returned to work on the 11th of December, got doctor to fill out paperwork for Sedgwick on the 13th and they call this morning 1/7/24, said they are going to deny my loa since the doctor didn't date the paperwork on 12/13, to prove I was seen by the doctor. The doctor wrote the date on the line next to her name. I guess next time I have a fever of 102.8, I'll go to work and share the vids. Horrible customer service. Horrible experience!

So, I've read a lot of reviews and I'm going to be honest this "claims" center is one of the worst. I got hurt on the job and had a severe ankle injury. Then the workers comp claim sent me to their doctor, and he just wiggled my foot and told me I was going to be fine. 8 months in my job It was still swollen, still in pain. Then I went to see a lawyer. After this he sent me to a doctor that he picked out. Told me I needed to see an orthopedic specialist. Went to the orthopedics and the doctor there told me I have a broken ankle with multiple torn ligaments. I swear this claim center doesn't help you whatsoever they lied to me about my injury. This place is the worst I'm letting everyone know right now make sure you have a worker's comp lawyer before talking to Sedgewick about your injury on the job. They will do everything they can not to help you with your injury.

Horrible company I went on maternity a month ago and filled a claim 3 weeks prior my due date schedule c-section apparently the company denied my claim for insufficient documentation I’ve sent every document they asked for and also the hospital discharge with all my medical records and they denied the claim, them proceeded to open a new claim to appeal the decision, this company is garbage !!!! Every time I call them the representative transfers my call to my case worker who is never available for updates it’s been 2 months with no income, no updates, my bills are past due, my car is getting repossessed, my baby formula is expensive and had to ask to borrow money to family and friends, this company is still playing around with my benefits, Universal Studios should be ashamed of working with this company they have the worst customer service they never know anything about the claim only answer I got it’s processing !!!
