“I surprised my wife with a purchase but unfortunately, the size I selected for her was incorrect. The customer facing team at SJ were so helpful in exchanging the dress in time for my wife's birthday. So grateful for their willingness to help out”

“The delivery was so quick! I ordered my bridesmaids dresses from SJ and the customer service girls went above and beyond to help me with sizing for each of my 9 girls. I couldn't thank them enough for their help seeing as they don't have a store!”

“Horrible customer service. I ordered 2 dresses in 2 different sizes and returned one that didn’t fit the same day . Upon there arrival they said there was a stain and sent it back to me to keep. Why would I return a dress stating it Doesn’t fit if it had a stain on it ? I would clearly would have said it was damaged from the get go . Really bad customer service , I would be aware of buying anything from this company . You will get stuck with the item whether you chose to keep it or not . Horrible company”

“Horrible expereince!!! Do not buy, the quality is not even close to worth the price. Our bridal party purchased, excited to wear the dress again after the wedding. Unfortunately, all 6 of our dresses began pilling after only 3 hours of wear. We simply put the dresses on, took pictures, rode to the church, and the dresses began pilling and wearing after the ceremony. Extremely dissapointing. To top it all off, we weren't even granted a refund. 100% not worth the price for the cheap and destructible quality.”

“Horrible customer service, dress arrived a month later after paying EXPRESS shipping and expected ME to pay $20 to return it back to Australia and refused to waive the fee after they made the mistake on the order invoice. Absolutely ridiculous, horrible customer service. Avoid purchasing from this brand”

“I love Shona Joy clothes, the dresses are beautiful, always excited for the new arrivals and the quality of the dresses is excellent and really lasts. The website is easy to navigate and the shipping is good too. I really like that they do refunds as well, as I can purchase a few colours to try and return ones that don't suit for full money back!”

“I am extremely frustrated. I was initially very drawn to the design of the clothing but I wished I’d read the reviews first! And I’m not a reviewer! The company should be upfront about the difficulties for international customers . Apparently, customs requires the physical address of the merchant. This can be found nowhere online! On top of that, the response time was at least 3 days by email and I could never reach anyone on the phone. So I spent the entire week tracking down the address information so that my package could be released. After the long delay with no resolution, customs returned my $1000 order to the seller! So not only do I not have anything to wear for my wedding events, I have $1000 tied up until Shona Joy receives the shipment. Such a horrible and first-time online shopping experience. Again, I should have read the reviews first!”

“I wish I had've seen these reviews before purchasing with Shona Joy, I have had the exact same terrible experience with their refund policy. I purchased a $300 dress and when I received it, it just looked frumpy and the material was stiff and uncomfortable. I thought it was a lot of money to spend on a dress I would probably never wear and so I returned it. Of course they would only allow for a credit note and so I purchased another dress which when it arrived had poorly made seams and was falling apart and again the dress was unflattering and a horrible fabric. Still no refund - just another credit note. Overall disappointing. they don't have the customer in mind at all, the products are overpriced and poor quality, and they probably know it too which is why they're holding onto unsatisfied customer money.”

“Customer service is good, the phone is always answered, online chat too but it's a bit slower in response times. The difficulty IMO is knowing your size - I could fit into 3 different sizes depending on style and fabric. Size 10 predominantly but in dresses can be slightly too fitted at the hip. I have recently bought two of their dresses (returned 1 via David Jones) in Ecru and found the colour to be vastly different to what was shown on their social media and website. Their photo editing must be extreme for this to happen. I find the material lovely, albeit non-stretchy to the point that I must be careful when walking/sitting so as not to step on the long hem or move too quickly and risk a tear. Other than this, the styles are beautiful. Points for improvement would be flexibility with returns/exchanges and more standardised fitting so it's not always a guessing game.”

“I have never had a poor experience at Shona Joy! The customer service girls are always super quick to respond to any sizing questions and the clothes are beautiful. I am constantly reaching for them in my wardrobe as I feel amazing wearing them. I have had to send some items back before to change a size but the process is super easy and quick.”

“I have seen a few bad reviews here so I wanted to leave my own as I don't want people to be deterred from this company! I ordered a dress for my 40th from Shona Joy - it arrived in a heart beat! I felt so amazing in the dress and the compliments would not stop flowing all night! As you get older you want timeless garments to make you feel special! Shona Joy is a company I will 100% shop with again!”

“I never normally write reviews but I dealt with the loveliest customer service rep from Shona Joy. I was really unsure with my sizing and the lady I spoke with (multiple times) was so patient with all my questions. I actually ended up purchasing two items. One was perfect and the other I decided the colour wasn't right for me. I'm really not sure why there are so many bad reviews for this brand. They must have changed their policy because I had no issue with getting a refund! It was also processed amazingly quick. Will definitely purchase again!”
