Keep customers on high package price and impossible to cancel without a load of hassle - write in or phone, really? Poor customer service. 6 hours wait time normal. Can't get the answers required - all about the process that suits them not the customer

Don't get Sky they'll give you a good deaI then they'll start taking more money off you, they'll put your bill up without your knowledge. I started a new 18 months contract with Sky in January this year which was agreed as £46 a month for the package. Didn't check my bills until today the 24th August and realised that they increased my bill to £62.20 from June without my knowledge. I then called to complain and asked why they did that and they said somehow my contract of £46 disappeared from the system and that was the new price I had to pay. After a long battle I get them to agree to a £50.20. That's shocking and immoral from sky, if you want to get out of their contract before the end you have to pay a big fine for that but they can break the agreement without any problem. Stay away even if you think you're getting a great deal. At least the customer service was very good I spoke to 2 guys and they were very polite and helpful, Fahram who helped with my bills had to get authorisation from his manageress as it is not down to him to change the bills. Joseph from techinical was lovely and helped with another issue I've been having.

I’ve got sky q and the thing I find annoying is when you pause it, to read anything at the bottom of the screen a black band comes up and covers it so you are unable to read it. This is so annoying as sometimes you are not given enough time to read it and then this happens so you can’t read it anyway. Is there some way it can be changed

Expensive and biased. Worst pay per view experience I have ever had with constant adverts, cutting out and poor quality like we are in the 90s.

I would give zero if I could. The helpline or customer service is a joke. My internet was down since 08 Aug, rang them 6-7 times to find out what is going on and updates. They hung up in a very rude way and always hope to get rid of you without giving you proper information. (They can’t give you estimate time when the engineer will come around, they closed the case you raised after they have done NOTHING x twice, they lied, they just repeat like a machine after we have told them we have tested/checked everything we could. I seriously will find another provider as soon as my contract ends with them. Please re consider if you decide to use them. You’ll regret it for sure.

Just don't EVER get Sky. They are just the absolute WORST internet providers that I have ever encountered! I am a student and when I first moved into my first flat, they couldn't book us an installation for 3 weeks, so we simply had no wifi for the first 3 weeks of uni, which was absolutely ridiculous! Then the installation guy was late and apparently 'missed us' even though there were two of us home! Calling them up just did not work as the customer service was completely unhelpful. Then, after we moved into a new flat, we needed another installation appointment so they scheduled us for 3 weeks later, which we were expecting this time so okay. BUT! Then 5 days pass and we get a call saying that our appointment has been cancelled because there was a mix up with our address! Instead of calling or emailing to double check the address, they just cancelled the appointment completely without consulting us! Now our installation date has been moved back another 2 weeks and we wont have wifi for 5 weeks! This is absolute INSANITY and I can't BELIEVE that their customer service and operations are so poorly managed that they can get away with crazy stuff like this! DEFINITELY AVOID AT ALLL COSTS!

We never trust this company again. Been with them for years for our home, never had a problem. Needed to get the tv package for a business, nothing but problems from the start. Cancelled contract in May, as it was ending, to then be told that they wanted £600 a month to keep the tv on, didn't need it as business was closed. The person on the end of the phone was completely disrespectful.

Customer service at it's best. Please pass on my thanks to Nathan (NRU03) Line was dead on my landline. He ran the check, which took 30 mins or so, was extremely professional and great to chat with during the check. External fault detected & engineer booked. Technology breaks and I'm very pleased that Nathan was on the line to help fix it.

Awful customer service and even worse broadband and tv. The tv keeps crashing, just freezes. Have raised this 3 times with sky but nothing. Unfortunately I’m tied in a contract as soon as it ends I will never come back to sky again. They just don’t care about the customer anymore.

Discusting company. Daylight robbery at its finest. Payed for a package that fluctuated in price constant increases. Internet speed was at 1.62 mbs. Complained about this they sent an engineer they said there was a problem at the cabinet in street. After the visit still the same apparently it was then the router that was at fault. Over 3 months the internet then dropped out many times a day. Contract had finished then the prices doubled even though we called because it was under the 31 days cancellation at 30 days. This was been unable to speak to any operatives due to covid. Bill doubled for the next month it was payed but then all services cut 9 days into that month. We was told we needed to pay another 66 pound if we wanted are services to run untill the contract finish date although we already had payed it.

Shambolic service-just left a review on TrustPilot. My internet is down since yesterday, I restarted my router million times, unplugged the cables-no issues in my area. Now I’m sitting here without internet-no chat line or helpline over the phone available. You can’t just leave your customers without help just because of COVID. Worst company I’ve ever had to deal with-like ever. Regards, Bernie

I reported an issue on my Sky broadband 5 weeks ago (a suspected fault between the local exchange and my apartment) and it hasn't been fixed yet. I am aware that Sky is not responsible for the network but I was expecting them to follow up and urge Openreach to fix it while keeping me informed. I tried to get in touch with Sky but their Facebook customer service is just pointless and I am not allowed to speak to them on the phone because I'm not a key worker. This is not the first time I've had problems with Sky broadband, I had a similar issue with my internet connection before and to be honest, I got fair compensation for it from Sky, however, I'd rather have a stable internet connection than a refund. I am currently very disappointed with the service provided so far, I hope they'll be able to change my mind, otherwise, I will have to change internet provider.

After contracting covid 19 working for… After contracting covid 19 working for the nhs so having to take time of work and currently receiving ssp I have been unable to pay my sky bill, i rang sky as they have suspended my services thinking that after being a sky customer for many years they would help me through this difficult time but quite the opposite i was told that unless i make full payment my services will not be reinstated , during this very difficult time everyone around the country are helping out people and trying to offer support especially to nhs workers who are risking their lives on a regular basis to keep our loved ones well looked after whilst we try and beat this awful illness, unfortunately Sky tv do not support people in this way and have lost my custom as I am absolutely appalled by the response I had from them during this pandemic.

Oh where do I begin, constantly cuts the internet off everyday twice in the space of 15 minutes, never getting the speeds we’re paying for and I would probably get better customer service from a lamp as intellectually it would be brighter and to top it all off the internet has completely cut out all together and they’re crappy online diagnostic thing came back to say “there is a problem with the connection”...nahhh really I thought it decided to furlough itself. They should rebrand their slogan...“SKY BELIEVE IN SHITER” as that’s all it compared to the others. Go for something else, literally anything plug a potato in as I’m sure it’ll run more smooth and get consistent speeds.
