Shocking customer service. Been on hold 3 times now for over an hour each call. Website sends me round in circles trying to sell me new stuff,no help to be had anywhere but quick enough to take my money every month after over 20 years of loyalty with them. Avoid at all costs,I'm cancelling sky. Anything is better than this charade.

Been with sky for 18 years and I’m telling you straight there will not be a 19th. Prices have gone stupid I’m paying on a deal £67 per month next month this goes upto, ready, £170 a month. There Staffs attitude is abysmal the broadband was worse than dial up when you ring to complain your told snd this is a quote “it’s the s****y bt lines not us” I was shocked I’ve moved to bt for broadband and it’s awesome and yes it’s the same s****y lines but turns out it’s the provider I’ve lodged 2 complaints both ignored now they are threatening me with debt collection over a £31.50 early termination fee so they can happily shuv the telle and everything else sky somewhere they might not get a signal.

Absolutely disgraceful service, customer for 24 years paying £122 per month. Signal lost more than its on for over a month, text communication to Sky help was no help at all. Im not the account holder but am on the account to deal with issues. Couldn’t remember password so got no further. They even refused to cancel acc without password and wouldn’t give option to change or to ring me on the number they have on the acc. More TV is looking good at the minute I’m done with this rip off Sky rubbish

Disgusting service poor communication and they use an overseas call centre where the people can’t understand the English language and just read from cards with or determined answers, frustrating

Absolutely horrendous customer service and has got progressively worse. I have had no online account access for over a year and when I called to try and resolve that issue I'm put on hold for over 2 hrs!! When I finally get connected they still can’t resolve the issue and advise me someone will call back at 1 pm the next day. So I wait by the phone and finally get a call at 1.45 pm. However, that person who was very rude then wanted me to run through the entire issue again even though I had explained everything the day before but apparently that person didn’t place any notes on the system. I then explained I wasn’t going to do this again and I asked to speak to this person’s supervisor, guess what he places me on hold!! I wait for 30 mins and finally hang up and never received any call back. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and has to be the worst customer service experience I have ever had and that’s saying something in this day and age. I should add that they have also had a debt collector sending me demands even though they have confirmed I don’t owe them any money on some old account and then on top of all that, without any notice whatsoever they increase the cost of my sky service by 130%!!!!! I can’t even find a word that could possibly convey how insane this sequence of events is, I can only lay out what happened without exaggeration and let anyone reading this imagine themselves in my position and then decide if they would like to become a customer of sky. I’m also going to file a county court claim against sky and drag them to my local county court which is clearly the only way this will get resolved at my convenience not theirs, although I suspect if let to sky it will never be resolved.

Extremely poor customer service. If I have to upgrade you do it online in a second but to downgrade you have to wait for hours.

It is the worst company Ive ever haf to deal with. The service is always failing in every way. Internet is very bad. Customer support is of the worst you can imagine, every time I call it takes a very long time to get connected and the calls drop easily and you have to start all over again. The app is never working properly. It takes a long time sometimes days to resolve a problem. Not one week goes by without a problem, for six months I have been having the same issue and nobody can fix it. I truly say to you if you have any other choice do not use this service it's the worst there is. Unfortunately some places in Mexico don't have any better to offer but if you have a choice research it. I have had the worst experience with this company. I only gave one star in able to write a review or I had given it none. Customer service is horrible. Nobody seems to know what they are doing and they never follow thru with a problem. Every time you call nobody seems to know how to fix anything. They should not be in business in Mexico.

My mum joined Sky for the first ever time in late May 2023. After numerous technical issues she was offered £50 gogw Tesco vouchers which I was told (I called and dealt with everytime on my mums behalf) 5 different timescale, the final one being 27th June. That date has now passed and what a shock, no vouchers. Called Sky and given yet another timescale. Basically the company that sends the vouchers (Edenred) are STILL waiting for Sky directors to sign off my mums vouchers as well as many other customers vouchers for referrals. I know this as I could hear the conversation between Sky and Eden red. Based on this, I would strongly suggest that you DO NOT tell anyone you refer that they will get vouchers. Sky make promises they cannot keep it seems and just keep giving the customers timescale after timescale.

Dear Reader (or hopefully Sky Employee), I moved to Sky Glass approximately 1 year ago, have the Sky TV 65" and also a Sky Puk (additional TV device). I have some warnings for people considering sky glass if moving from Sky Q or Sky HD, and warnings on the selling methods used. 1) Lets start with selling methods... 2 hours on the phone, no real warning of the shortfalls of the stream only service, also firm Miss-selling of a financial product, as under £25k and I am a retail consumer, the sale of financial products is covered by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) regulations which mean fair transparency, treating customer fairly and more recently consumer duty obligations on finance introducers/brokers and lenders - Sky breached all of these when I was sold the sky package but a separate finance product which was only disclosed as "an additional £22 per month for the 65 inch TV", I had to dig and review in detail the financial agreement which was actually a 48 month agreemeent - this is miss-selling to a consumer, not good - I proceeded on the basis I was switched on but please watch for the Indian sales centre using these tactics. 2) Now, why should you not move to Sky Glass... well in a few words, it is because it is stream only. - this means that you no longer have data capacity for saving and storing films, favourite shows or anything, you can only watch if the internet is up (as opposed to when down on my Sky HD, I would just watch recorded things until it was back up. The other problem with the streaming is that the UI (user interface) is not developed well, we see missing episodes, slow to update etc, plus, oh wait for it, Sky Glass pushes you out to third party apps, ITV X, BBC, All Four instead of having the channels like the Sky HD or Q, this means you are forever entering passwords and user IDs, and have to sign up to all the other apps which is a nuisance.. finally to add to all of this, because it is stream only, you are now unfortunately not able to skip through adverts even for on demand or saved favourites ... unless you pay an additional fee £5 per month... which is criminal as the service fee is quite enough to be paying thank you. the advert skipping is free for the first 12 months to get you used to skipping in the hope that you get used to it and will then pay.... I will not, in fact, I am now looking at other providers in order to sell the Sky Glass TV, pay off the finance and move to a platform that is not stream only, I can save my favourites and watch them when I like. All in all, Sky Glass is Sky's attempt to move to streaming platform style which is a shame as they were a true player as a stand alone service best in class before this move. Shame on you Sky.

I have been trying to contact Sky for days on their virtual platform. I Will not phone them as I have been told on good authority, that I will be charged a connection fee of £3.60. plus £3.60 per minute and on top of that your telephone providers charge. Having read reviews of waiting times I would say it would cost a fortune to speak to someone. I have been with sky for over 23 years. I am extremely disappointed with them.

Appalling customer service, been a customer twenty years and the decline in service is incredible. Be prepared to be misled and have to double check anything they say as chances are it won't be actioned when they promise. Given the amount of competition in the market, I don't know how they think reducing customer service will help retain customers.

I signed up for fibre broadband on a reasonable deal. Unfortunately the person signing me up online failed to let me know that for the second months payment it could be up to double the cost as they move my payments from in arrears to in advance. This messed up my budgeting for the month (cost of living crisis makes this difficult to absorb). The first man I spoke to from an Indian call centre was very rude and clearly only interested in getting me off the phone to improve his 'stats'. He talked over me, stated that I was the one at fault for not reading the fine print and then transferred me mid sentence and I was suddenly speaking to someone else from what seemed to be an Irish call centre. She was at least more polite, but still offered no help, telling me that there was nothing they could do (which I know was a lie because I could hear a colleague giving a goodwill gesture in the background) and that she would escalate the complaint regarding the first man. I asked whether I could be notified of the outcome of the complaint and was told that as it was an internal procedure, I would not be notified. I have no confidence that anything will be done about my complaint as the manager is only likely to care about the same 'stats' that the call handler seemed to care about. Complete waste of time and a truly awful experience. As soon as I'm out of contract I will leave Sky with no chance of ever returning. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with.
