My SMEG toaster had a heating element issue. I submitted the issue for warranty and within 3 business days a new replacement toaster arrived at my doorstep. Totally happy, thanks SMEG!

SMEG Dual Fuel Range Cooker installed 6 weeks ago, however we noticed the screws on the door lock has damaged the interior oven panel and door difficult to close. Several emails, pictures and phone calls later we have still not had response from customer service. Disgusted.

Customer services absolutely garbage. Do not answer anything when questioning fitting instructions which are appallingly unhelpful in the first place. In my view you are better off buying a different brand.

Worst customer support. Kept saying we don’t know what the problem is and only option is pay for a new one. Don’t waste your time calling the customer support even. Overpriced produce, cheap customer support that is not trying to help.

Worst customer service in the history of customer service. No desire to help or be helpful. Not worth even trying anymore. I’m stuck with this POS oven that cost 5k Overpriced Chinese garbage. Oh wait… it’s designed in Italy. DONT DO IT! YOU WILL REGRET. I wish I had listened to the reviews… don’t say you weren’t warned.

In excess of 1000 emails on the internet of complaints about smeg products flying glass from cooker doors and microwaves.hot water coming down handles on kettles.toast flying out of toasters.kettle outer blowing up like balloons.cookers rusting letters coming off products handles coming off kettles

Smeg customer service is the worst out of all brands. The lack of technical support for any issues that occur is an embarrassment. Staff have little to no product knowledge. All they want to do is push an expensive engineer at your expense to visit your home. The engineers labelled as smeg approved but no backing from smeg if there are problems or concerns. Smeg could not even talk about basic trouble shooting that is printed in their own manuals. Do not buy Smeg. Overpriced products and parts with cheap customer Sevice and values. FYI I have over £5000 worth of Smeg appliances from a new build house. Smeg offered me no support or confidence to fix a basic microwave fault.

smeg bm93bl cooker the glass in the main oven does not stay in it a pain when tying to cook been out 3 times now to fix still not done

I have 5 different domino units in the low profile stainless steel range range. After very little use, on the induction hob both controls are faulty. Parts will be £260. 2 other units are also faulty inc the teppanyaki… parts to repair £850. Yes you read that right. Smeg used to be ok but quality is appalling.

Really bad service and despite trying to resolve my issues it’s taken 4 months to get a replacement oven. They were fully aware that I had elderly people in the properly but consistency didn’t take that on board. Spoke to 6 ppl over a period of 4 months and I had to keep in repeating myself. Products look beautiful but not built to let. Look at reviews on trust pilot

Please do not buy a Smeg appliance I purchased a cooker and kettle whitch only lasted a few weeks they would not replace and cooker was faulty parts did not fit and oven door handle has fallen off. I live on my own so it is not subject to any abuse. Do not be blinded by the name the appliances look good are highly overpriced and are not fit for purpose.

Bought a four slice toaster and a kettle which cost a small fortune, but sadly the quality of the product doesn’t match the price tag. First I noticed that every time I turned the toaster on it tripped all the electrics in my kitchen - very annoying - then after one such incident the toaster became faulty as it would only toast one side of the bread. With the kettle, the lovely enamel colour, which lets face it is the reason we buy Smeg, began blistering in several places and is slowly getting worse with the bubbles becoming larger every time the kettle is boiled. Both of these faults appeared just outside of their guarantee period so there was nothing I could do about it. Coincidence? Well from reading some of the very similar complaints on here, I don’t think so. It seems they are only supposed to last for their guarantee period and are then designed to go wrong so you have to replace them. Replace them I will, but not with Smeg. Very disappointing, overpriced, poor quality products that aren’t made to last. Avoid.

Have range hood lights were not working Smeg repair over $200 then motor would not turn off Smeg quoted over $600 for repair replaced unit completely would not recommend Smeg as repairs are dearer than original unit

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! OUR FREE RANGE COOKER IS COVERED FULLY WITH RUST AND THEY DON’T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!!! THEY SAY IT IS BECAUSE OF GRASE?! WHAT KIND OF GREASE WOULD MAKE A OVEN FULLY PEELED AND COVERED BY RUST? WE ARE NOT COOKİNG OUR FOOD WITH MACHINE OIL!! THEY LITERALLY TREAT YOU LIKE YOU DON’T KNOW ANYTHING. EVEN THEIR ENGINEER SAID THEY HAVE LOTS PF FAULTY FREE RANGE COOKER IN THIS MODEL. BUT STILL NOT ACCEPTONG THEIR POOR QUALITY AND NOT ACTING PROFESSIONAL!! DON’T EVER WASTE YOUR MONEY JUST FOR ITS LOOK VERY POOR QUALITY AND FAULTY PRODUCTS! WE HAD ISSUES WITH SMEG KETTLE AND TOASTERS TOO! REGRETING EVERY PENNY I SPENT FOR THEM!!!

Bought Smeg dishwasher. DISD 12. It lasted 5years and now I am told it needs a new program board. My previous Bosch lasted 20+ years. Tried to contact Smeg to express my disappointment and was passed from one Q to another with no response. I would not recommend SMEG to anyone as their customer service is non existant.

Smeg is awesome - customer service amazing! So happy they replaced my coffeemaker extremely fast. Great product, great service. I’m a happy customer and will be making another purchases very soon. Thanks SMEG for being SO AWESOME :)

I bought a Fridge and Freezer in May 2018, happy to pay extra thinking I was buying a reliable product and I would be ok for a good 10 years (in theory). My fridge is now a freezer, so I thought contact SMEG and ask about possible cause and fix. They sent me a link to a back street shop whos reviews are even worse than what I am reading here. I wrote back to the service dept and asked if thisis an approved SMEG technicial and no response still. I cannot find a contact for complaints and to be honest it seems SMEG does not care. I will never buy or recommen this make to anyone

Yes I had trouble with my cooker The man came charged me ‘$165 dollars and said I would need so many parts I could buy a new cooker I wish I had brought a new cooker and I could have put $165 with the new cooker I felt so upset because when the man came I felt he was going to fix it Than when he charged me $165 dollars for just telling me I need new parts Very upset 🙏

SMEG South Africa appliance after short period glass coating. Sides chip so easily. So sad we purchased as a family over R100k hobs, stove, kettle for 2 families such disappointing quality.
