I see that I'm joining a long list of customers who will no longer be customers! I ordered two pairs of shoes from them online and received them fairly quickly, but one pair of the shoes had clearly been worn, thrown back into the box and returned to stock - then shipped to me. As an apology, they offered a 15% discount on another pair "of my choice" but they won't refund because I used Sezzle to pay for them. I used Sezzle because it is another layer of protection in case something goes wrong, and it did. I'll never buy from them again whatsoever. Canada should be ashamed to give business licenses to companies such as this!

I went to Soft Moc at the plaza at number 2 and Harwood in Ajax. I took my two grandkids as one of them needed boots. I had enquired with the two individuals behind the counter and they pointed in the direction of the kids boots. I enquired about the two boots and what size they were are I was trying to entertain two kids. The answer “can you bring them here?” Really?? Well this was the start of the disappointment. I finally was able to get one boot and get my grandaughter to try it on. I could not find the other boot - so I took the box to the counter. In the midst of all this I had a call from my daughter whose kids were with me, the manager Sue, asked me where the second boot was when I took it to the counter. I remarked about the lack of service and assistance and the the discussion I asked to end as it started to become confrontational. When Sue rang in my order, there was no thank you, just a push of the box containing the purchased boots. Service and assistance no longer exists and this was a blatant display. I feel for Mothers who try to keep everything in order and look to employees to provide help in stressful shopping experiences.

Wonderful selection,no actual shoes in inventory. Interesting business model, have people come in and leave with nothing.

They advertise express shipping 1 day. This is false. Item never arrived and they will not return my money, until they open an investigation. This is unacceptable, I never received the goods, they have confirmed that - why not give customers a refund? Horrible customer service. Beware when you order from this company.

Worst customer service from Head Office, would NOT recommend them. I use to buy lots of shoes but there was an issue with a return (which was a store mistake). They will never see me again!!

Terrible customer service!!! The manager was inspecting the boots I returned so hard. I literally tried on in the store and never took them out of the box and returned them and they were questioning whether I wore them. Awful!!! Kingsway Garden Mall. Never shop here!!!! they were not pleasant at all.

I will never buy anymore shoes from SoftMoc, they are the worst in customer service. Bought 2 pairs of sandals on line and was charged shipping of 3.99 for each pair and I had the sandals shipped to the store. Complained to both customer service and the manager @ the Cornwall Center in Regina and did not receive any reimbursement. Don’t buy on line it’s a scam!!!

Went to Gatineau to see my brother for a little holiday and my husband brought two of the same foot sandals with him. So we had to get him another pair which is usually difficult but found a pair for him which he loved and wore out! To top it off I was not looking but found such a comfortable pair for myself as well that works well with larger bunion problems. I have to say a hugh thank you to the staff and personally to the assistant manager Abdullah for such wonderful care and attentive personal touch!! Thank you softMoc loving our new sandals!!!

The shoes started coming apart on the first day, within two weeks they were pretty much trash, on the third week when we took them back they refused to honour their warranty/guarantee,DO NOT BUY FROM HERE !!! , poor quality shoes and will not stand behind their warranties.

I’ve been trying to reach softmoc for weeks. No one will return my calls or emails. I need to return my sandals that do not fit. Seem to be in good condition but cannot wear. I would not purchase anything from them after now read the reviews with the same issues I’m having.

Awful cuatomer service. Purchaced a pair of boots online from softmoc which within a couple short walks started fraying on multiple stitches on both pair and were not waterproff as described. Was told to take to nearest location (brantford) for warranty. Upon arriving and talking to "manager" I was told that if worn no warr and were not waterproof. After arguing that how do you know if waterproff without wearing as well as manufactures defect she looked up on computer and although agreed they were supposed to be waterproff said she cant do anything and would have to push to distric manager.took pics,name and number and over month later still no answer. Furthermore when calling store no one ever picks up and mailbox always full so you cant leave message. Spend your money anywhere else and you will be better off.

Terrible customer, wore my shoes once and could not get a refund or exchange, paid $272, staff laughing at my complaint in the back. They would not give me the 10% discount that virgin cell phone members get if shopping at softmoc. They said blundstones do not honor it but it's a softmoc discount. Go somewhere else to shop, plenty of other stores that want your business.

The young gentleman at the Heartland, Mississauga location who claimed to be a manager first said I cannot make a return as he said he had no purchase history. I had to log into my phone and show him my purchase He then said the shoes looked dirty. I had never worn them outside and had just tried them in at home. He then said he would make the return this one time and not next time if I brought back “damaged” shoes. He was extremely rude and when I asked him for his name he said he doesn’t need to give it to me. This is the worst customer service I have experienced. There is no point complaining to their customer service as no one cares

Just checked the previous reviews and saw that everyone complains about Softmoc’s bad customer service. I also had a very bad customer service experience today at Softmoc in Sherway Gardens Mall-Etobicoke. I do not understand why the company does not try to fix this issue when the people have a common complaints. I think the management should invest more on their employees training such as how to greet, talk and help customers. Employees should learn that one single purchase is not that important, the most important thing is customer’s reference/feedback. No more shopping from Softmoc again.

Softmoc is by far the most intimidating abusive company i have ever dealt with. I spoke with them 3 times via chat to make sure i could return my Rihanna Chestnut slippers, which were sent to me 2 times scuffed. I also returned at a store and upon bringing them home, that pair was scuffed too. I proceeding to do as they told. Return these by mail and they would re-ship me a new pair. Upon returning them by mail, they advised me they had sent me a new shipping label but then changed their minds and said because i had a payment plan with sezzle that the could not override the system and re-ship these to me, it would not allow them? Like serious, it shows on my order and everwhere else how I paid for these and I spoke with the chat peple 3 times. Be ware (Danielle & Emily) we abusive, belitteling and had no compassion towards my situation. I was given a discount rate for these slippers, which is why i got them and they told me because they were NOT able to send me a new pair, they would refund them and have me purchase a new pair with less of a discount. They were no longer able to help me. After I called them a bunch of liars, they told me the chat was being blocked due to my profanity.? These people are psychopaths and all need to be help accountable for all the people before me and their experiences, just disgusting, you should read on because it gets worse and worse. I preceded to give a call customer care a call and was told that I was talking to someone in the chat and could no longer be helped 3 times by 3 different agents. They were told by management. These useless employees continue to take advantage and abusr customers and we need to get the word out, no longer do we stand for this. Everyone one of them needs to be reportinf. Dont shoo at Softmoc until things change. Its beyond brutal. The only kind and nice manager I have dealt with is Tanya from the Newmarket store who was helpfull and forwarded all my screenshots and info to the area managers to get to the bottom of this, so if you need help, call her. Pass the word along about these tyrants.For some reason I tried to upload 6 photos to show my damaged shoes but it would not allow me to submit if I did, what's up with that?

Soft moc has the worst customer service ever! Managers don’t deal with the problems arising and they try to SCAM people out of their money and rights! I bought an Ugg that was deemed defective by Ugg company and the company asked me to take it back to softmoc (where originally purchased) for an exchange as it was still within the 90 days and they have refused to do anything about it, not an exchange nor anything.. Paid $120 for it and basically it is unwearable.. Worst company to deal with and their personnel are even worse!

Just had disgraceful and very upsetting experience experience with Soctmoc. Softmoc will not refund shoes purchased for my mother as she was ill and dying and never worn because we are past the refund period. I was caregiving her as she was dying and was not thinking about or in a position to go to a store to get a refund. I could also not risk going into a store because if I got covid I would not have been able to be at her side in hospice. Shame on you Softmoc. This is not what I should be dealing with a week after her passing. I will give the shoes to a shelter.

If you purchase anything from this company and have it shipped, do not pay extra money to have it overnighted. You will not receive it until 3 to 4 days later, if you need to send it back or if they sent you the wrong item, they will not send you a return shipping label. So essentially, they’re gonna take you for as much money as they can possibly get out of you. And if you try to call into their customer service team, be prepared to be stonewalled, talked down to, and treated like an absolute piece of rubbish. These people are rude, disrespectful, and flat out snotty. L.L. Bean, lands end, and Amazon all treat you better and make you feel as if your business matters to them
