Had specsavers come to the home of my 90yr old mum. The people that came were so lovely, kind and caring. We was very happy with the experience.

I and my wife have been a customer of Specsavers Leicester Branch for many years. We consult them every two or three years for routine eye test and spectacles renewal. Every year when we visit the branch, we find them better and better. This year, we went to them about two weeks ago and we were, as usual, very impressed with their care, personal attention and quick and highly professional services. When you enter the shop, the reception staff, for instance; Ammarah, receives you with friendly welcomes and smiles. She identifies you promptly and you will then move from one room to another for various sophisticated diagnostic eye tests. Chanelle was one of the stunning diagnostic staffs who examined me this year. Then you will meet with one of their brilliant opticians who will find the exact lenses that suits you vision. This year, my optician was Khadija, a lovely, clever and experienced optician. She prescribed a very comfortable eyeglasses for my vision. Then you will go to young dispenser and collection staff, notably; Drubo and Abdullah who will take through various services that they can add to your glasses, such as polarization, thinning...etc. Both my wife and I liked them very much. They provide services with patience and care. Then two weeks later you go back to collect the eyeglasses. You meet again with Ammarah, Drugo and/or Abdullah. You receive your eyeglasses in the best possible condition. If the frames need adjustment Drubo or Abdullah are happy to take them to the lab to do the rest for you. You will never leave the place until you are very satisfied. We very please with their services, friendliness and professionality. We certainly recommend Specsavers Leicester Brach to the people.

Ordered 2 pairs of glasses . After 2 weeks still no sign . Unable to contact them on the phone so went to the shop . They blamed the recent school holidays for the delay in the delivery . I wasn’t aware it was kids that drive the delivery trucks . The wait continues

After 5 visits trying to get my new glasses problems solved, they never gave me a satisfactory answer, only delays and new appointments week after week, they told me they would call me and it never happened. After paying for two new pairs of glasses that I can't use, I have made the decision to get new ones somewhere else. Run away from this place.

SpecSavers are simply useless. The arm broke off of my glasses , the third pair, and when I tried to get the frames to place the lens in they are telling me they no longer make them. The service with SpecSavers was poor from start to finish and this is just the cherry on the cake. After having two pairs of glasses that were not fit for purpose, I was then presented with a third pair that was marginally better. They took no responsibility for their lack of care to the customer. Short cutting the eye test procedure and lack of courtesy. I will certainly never darken their door again.

I have been trying for a month to have a problem with my new glasses or prescription corrected and I still have no solution. Terrible experience, I can't continue to use the new glasses.

Walked in asked to see titanium frames, young lady picked up plastic frames with titanium arms. Had to tell her they were not titanium frames, she didn’t know. Then asked for a magnifying glass they don’t to them. How do they expect people with glasses to look through a normal mirror. Never going in there again. Waste of time. Train your staff better oh, invest in magnifying mirrors, would help!

9:50 appointment in the Wrexham branch, but still waiting at 10:30. No feedback as to why there is a delay. So I gave up and booked with vision express, let's see if that's any different. If I am to spend hundreds of pounds with them I expect a bit of respect. Even if it's only an explanation as to why there is a delay (maybe someone has not turned up for a valid reason - sickness) and an estimate as to when I would be seen I can then make an informed desion as to wait, come back a bit later, or reschedule. But no, nothing from any of the staff. That's me done with Specsavers and I will not be giving them a good review to my colleagues. What a way to run a business.

Tottenham Court Road branch . So I had an appointment booked for 13.20 apparently! I arrived at 13.15 and was browsing and awaiting for my appointment. I ask reception and they told me to go upstairs . On arrival upstairs the optician said you are late ! It took me forever to get there . Offered me an appointment later in the day ?? Appalling customer service . I will take my business elsewhere. I am an old lady and I cannot see hence the need for glasses and genuinely thought it was 13.35 appointment not 13.20 !! There were so many of them ( staff ) standing around chatting on arrival . I spent over 20 minutes browsing trying on different frames and was waiting for them to stop chatting before I approached the reception desk ! Made me late to go upstairs and them denied me a service . I am so upset 😭

Excellent service received. My mom broke her frame of her glasses and the help she got from the staff was awesome. The frame could not be fixed. The frame was discontinued but they found a frame which fit the lenses. All in all the service was great.

The reading glasses took a month to come out. I had also ordered a lamp from them at a cost of 99 pounds. The lamp hadn’t apparently been packed with the glasses but the lady assured me she would get to me. 5 days later and I’ve heard nothing. My daughter phoned and they had no idea what had happened and were going to look into it. Extremely disappointed with the service

People visit an optician because they have problems with their eyesite and I would suspect in a significant number of cases they have difficulty in clearly viewing items close to them. What is the point therefore of having racks of glasses on display with standard non magnifying viewing mirrors adjacent which make it impossible to clearly see what these frames look like on the intending purchaser ? Why can't these viewing mirrors have some degree of magnification. It's not rocket science it's common sense !
