A consultant called 2 weeks ago asking if we would like to make an appointment, which I did. The date agreed upon was today 12.3.2020, after 2pm and I was told we would be contacted and given a time beforehand. Four calls to the relevant number and a message each time saying 'leave your number and address and we'll get back to you' have obviously fallen on deaf ears !!!! A poor show !!!

Worst experience. Ordered a urgent refill . Told me ready following day but waited 5 days . Ringing everyday explaining pending travel. Had to get a car to do extra stop on way to airport . Salesperson told me they would be ready but we’re not . Incompetent staff and lots of misleading information even after many calls was less than satisfactory service

Went for my first eye test in years, Was told I needed glasses for reading and using a computer. Collected the glasses, tried to use them and they made the screen and text blurry and I became slightly disoriented. Rang up to ask for advice and was told my eyes need to get used to them and to keep trying them. (Impossible as it was like being drunk) Went in store on Friday and was abruptly told the prescription was correct and my eyes needed to get used to them.(no not at all thy are just wrong) I decided to get a second opinion from a well know company. To my surprise I DIDNT need glasses at all. Spoke to Tom today and explained I’d had a second opinion and that I didn’t need glasses, all of a sudden I can have a full refund once I take the glasses in. Will not be going here again for my daughters glasses. They treat you like your stupid

Following phone call I took in a pair of my spectacles that had fell apart on the nose bridge. I was charged £70 for a replacement frame. They did not even clean the lens. I do not recommend the Hereford branch and would not use again

Excellent service.great prices and they really knew what they were doing. I had some unexpected serious vision problems and I was treated with kindness and they knew exactly what to do. I was more than happy with the service and would not think of going anywhere else.

Just booked a home appointment, the girl on the end of the phone was so quiet and drippy, constantly asking "can i get...?" in a half hearted pathetic voice. I struggled to hear her and felt lije she was half asleep... Goodness knows how an older person would have coped. However... I can't fault our local store so we'll see how the actual home visit turns out.

Always rated your service highly for both contact lenses and glasses, however I visited Boots Opticians and have now changed my mind as their offers on glasses far better. I found the quality and range of glasses far superior. I am now considering changing to Boots the Opticians for both contact lens service and glasses.I found Boots cheaper and offer a more up to date choice for glasses. Sorry Specsavers !

Oh my goodness! Avoid Specsavers at all costs. 2 members of my family have had to return glasses for full refund owing to poor testing and an incorrect prescription. Extremely amateur, unskilled optometrists who clearly make errors. Try Boots, totally different experience.

I have had two appointments cancelled with the excuse that they had an "emergency." I had text messages reminding me of my appointment and even a phone call the day before to make sure that I was going to keep the appointment. I arrived ten minutes early and was told there was an "emergency" and that I would have to wait for 30 to 40 minutes (which in my experience is more like an hour.) I had made a special journey and taken time off work to be there so I asked them why they didn't let me know to save me the wasted time and time off work but they couldn't give me an answer. This has happened twice with exactly the same excuse so they are obviously lying to cover up their incompetence. I recommend to use The Specs Place which is just a little higher up the road but much more professional and reliable. I will never be using Specsavers again.

Visited Specsavers Doncaster, what an aweful experience the eye test lasted exactly 10 mins and after I collected my new glasses I couldn't see out of them, not surprised as the optician didn't do much testing In the room. I spoke to my friend who works down south and who is also an optometrist and she said a proper eye test should be at least 20 mins long!! Beware.

Absolutely appalling service from poorly trained staff who seem more interested in miss-quoting law than in offering a good customer experience, they try to insist that an autistic boy has to personally go in with the parents just to collect a repaired set of glasses, the person claiming to be in charge Vicky was un-professional and poorly trained as where her staff who seem to be more obsessed with selling add-on’s and trying to quote retail law inaccurately. I notice a Specsavers website full of complaints seems well populated, on this experience I can see why, I have asked to remove all four of us from the store as I will not attend here again.

Absolutely disgraceful. My prescription was made up without a proper eye test and when you get robbed you will face a hostile head office refusing to answer your complaints.

Staff belittles their customers and uses scare tactics, do not recommend the Morden branch, this experience has changed my 10 year record i had with specsavers. Will not be using ever again.

April 2019 I bought a pair glasses and on the website it says that I have 2 years warranty. I went 7 times into the shop to fix the screw in the glasses as it kept falling out after 5 weeks only. Before the last time I went in (the last time being 10 days ago), the manager Ahmed told me that he will change the frame if the screw falls one more time because there is no screw that can fix this issue, as it is a manufacturer error. 2 days I went in again and Ahmed told me that the NHS cannot cover the warranty of the frame, which is not what I read on the website. He put another screw on and after exactly one day it fell out again, and now I cannot use my glasses any longer.
