Very poor service - won’t buy anything from here again. I ordered my grandson a Ronaldo football shirt for his birthday. The shirt arrived but was a tight fit so I returned it for a larger size. After a couple of weeks went by I received an email saying it was being exchanged, a few days later received another email saying my order was cancelled and a refund would be made. Waited for nearly 2 weeks and still no refund. Contacted customer services by email as no phone number given and it took a further week for a response which said I need to wait a week for the refund - I explained that it had already been longer than a week. A few days later I received a further email saying refund had definitely been made and to check with my bank as maybe they had taken a long time to credit. The refund arrived a week later but was only sent a few days after the last email exchange. The moral of this story is that Sports Direct held onto my money even though they cancelled my order and didn’t return it until weeks later after I had to chase them for it. I needed my money returned so I could purchase a replacement shirt - my poor grandson had to wait so long for his birthday present thanks to your poor service.

Terrible customer services, awfully Disrespectful to your customers,if we need information about some products, I would never buy from your site. JUST TERRIBLE.

When purchasing a Ronaldo Man U shirt for my daughter, it didn’t fit, returned and wouldn’t do anything. This is because I should of clicked on a small link about exchanges. It’s not clear, should be clearly seen when purchasing the item not a separate link. Me and my family will avoid this business in the future!!!

Avoid at all costs. They sent my order to the wrong address. When I eventually got hold of customer service they weren't interested. Not our problem they said. They've kept my £150 and are refusing to help. The customer service agent "Elizabeth" was incredibly unprofessional and rude.

I returned a faulty item following the guidelines set by the customer service team, Royal Mail tracked service. The item has been signed for at the facility but they have lost it. They are refusing to accept liability saying that it wasn’t signed for properly… by them! If you buy something you are taking a risk as the returns policy is essentially a lottery as if they lose it, it’s your fault. Con artists.

I bought a pair of Adidas football boots (£40) for my son. On their very first use, they lost a study. My son reports that it is quite uncomfortable wearing the boots now. I took the boots back to the Sports Direct shop in Scarborough, expecting them to accept that this was their mistake and the boots were not fit for purpose - like I would expect every other retailer in the country would do. But instead they claimed the mistake was mine as I did not specifically tighten the study and I had not anticipated that they were poorly finished by the factory (again not my fault). If this really was my responsibility why was I not told to tighten the studs by the shop assistant as I bought them, or better still why did they not check them while they were checking they were to correct size. It would have taken no more than 45 seconds. I will never walk into this dreadful shop again.

Ho ricevuto un articolo che era troppo grande e volevo rimandarlo indietro, risultato: Il sito non funziona per i resi quindi si deve mandare una mail all'assistenza clienti che ti dice che devi rinviare il pacco a TUE SPESE e tramite posta in Inghilterra. Alla fine ho dovuto tenermi l'articolo perché rimandarlo indietro sarebbe costato troppo!

I'm highly disappointed with this online shoe called Sport direct. I ordered adidas shoes size 37 for my son. They delivered size 35.5 without a price tag..I contacted them because I needed to send it back but the customer service was so rude and stupid..He totally refused to help instead was sending me Emoji with smile..They have unqualified people working for them. Such as psychiatric patients that can't differentiate the difference between 37 and 35.5 Until now no assistant and my son was really angry he couldn't wear the shoe.they didn't refund or change it. instead I received an insult from the stupid customer service after wasting my money. I don't blame you losers.. Waste if time. They are only interested with your money..bad quality. Fake shop

No refunds if items purchased in-store. Shop online instead. I bought a pair of gloves as a gift. They didn’t fit so returned them to the store asking for a refund, the gloves had been tried on once with all packaging/labels attached. I was informed that no refunds are given on items purchased in store. A credit note was offered, but I didn’t want a credit note as I don’t like being dictated to as to where I spend my money. Looking at the Sports Direct website terms and conditions, full refunds are offered on any item bought online so long as the item is in as-new condition. What is the difference? Why do Sports Direct not honour the same policy when items are bought in store? So if you wish to have the option of a full refund purchase from another store. Or buy online.

Worst customer service ever , have sent numerous emails still no reply back , all I want is a refund as the tracksuit was a gift and now it’s no longer needed as the birthday was two weeks ago , but nobody will reply to me ,so disappointing will never shop again with sports direct ,so think twice before using this company ur throwing your money away

Don’t recommend sports direct their delivery charge is £5 which is so expensive compare to most shops. If you get the wrong order you have to send back at your own cost again. And if you go in store you can’t get a refund just a credit note. Be careful ordering heavy item you might end up just waste your money

Just been to the prestatyn store. Bought the 2 for £12 boxer's. Only to get home, open one and find there to be no boxer's inside. It would cost me more just in fuel to get back the to return so I'm just not gonna shop there ever again.

Don't buy from them. Has WRONG SIZES in the website and won't admit mistake. I bought a pair of shoes from them and in their website they claim that it is a European size 45. However, when I finally got it is a size 44. There is no ambiguity! It has a huge sticker in the box and it says it also says 44 in the shoe tongue. But somehow they won't take any responsibility. And I'm sure this happens all the time. If they made a mistake with me they can make with you too. They are ADVERTISING THE WRONG SIZES IN THE WEBSITE.

If I could rate sportsdirect 0 stars I would. I am tired of the poor customer service and poor company policies. Sportsdirect do not care acout their customers. They do the worse job they can and seem proud of it. I ordered 3 trainers for someone, 1 of the trainers were on pre-order and I was ok with that because the two I ordered were in stock. All other sensible company would mail the order that is available and when the pre-order comes in stock then mail that to the customer. Even to hold the 2 available order until the pre-order is available as a basic efficiency operation. But since no one at Sportdirect care about the customer no such basic procedure is in place. What did they do? They held my orders for almost a month. Then after, I receive a notification that my order was picked up to be delivered. Then I received an email say one of the trainers that was available in the beginning of my order was not available when they decided to finally ship the item I paid for already. Apparently it is a policy to hold available good until they are no longer in stock just to ensure we give the worse service and the operate at their worse. I am very angry as I need them for a project and I was already waiting for weeks. I wont be shopping with sportsdirect because of their ridiculous policy against good customer service. There online chat service is useless just replace it an automated response because that is basically what it is.. Just no regard for customers.

Must be the worst customer service I’ve ever received. Paid £7.99 for next day delivery for some items I needed urgently. Items didn’t arrive next day so I tried to cancel the order- they do not have a phone number?!?! No response to email. I went out and purchased the items. Still no response on cancelling the delivery I no longer needed. Items now arrive 4 days late and I’m told it can’t be cancelled but only returned for a voucher as they don’t do cash refunds. I’m done with Sports Direct. Quite frankly reading other reviews on Twitter, this seems standard practice.

Still not received my refund for the trainers I returned special signed for. The wrong trainers, that I had to pay to return because they are incompetent. Where is my refund sports direct? AVOID this company like the plague. They tell you to email their customer service number because they don't have a phone number, and then they don't bother to respond.

Absolutely awful customer service. I was sent the wrong colour shoes, and customer service were not only rude, they said I would have to pay for the return myself. Got rude and unhelpful messages from someone called Charlotte on the chatbot as they don't have a customer service phone number. Style and colour are not the same thing. Do not use Sports direct!!! Worst company ever in my experience. They act like they are a budget brand, but sell premium sports brands at premium prices. The whole thing is a so poor its criminal.

you think that after having a terrible experience the first time one will not try a second. Well lets see how many times can one be disappointed and angry with a company (2 out of 2 is the score for me so far) Long story sort. Done an order 13/09/21 with next day delivery. Parcel did not arrived next day, or day after or day after that either. A week later I contacted sportdirect with their chat system since no telephone line there anymore, and ask for my package. Been told they will talk with the courier about it. A week after that (today 27/09/21) i tried again to contact with their chat. i got no different answer that week ago. Obvious they told me that they will do something for the package but there was no update. So i asked kindly for a refund. It is 2 weeks that i have done the order, it feels like a month, and i feel i will never receive it. The chat person told me no refund can be processed at the moment, but after they do thee talk can take another 5 days to have an update. I asked again kindly for a copy of a policy that protects me as a customer in cases like this. I have not received the item. The refund period is 28 days, and i honestly i see this window closing. I got no answer to that either, even when i (again kindly) offered a day for them to find the policy. It honestly does not seem different experience than ordering from wish.com you place your order and wait a month with the hope you will receive something and not got scammed..
