I had always loved the look of a fire glass fireplace so I decided to do a summer project. Customer service talked me through the process of ordering the HFrame and amount of glass I needed. Once I ordered it all arrived quickly and in excellent condition. My husband and I finished the project over the weekend and it's stunning! I'm extremely pleased with the results! I posted a picture and video online and many of my friends inquired about it.

I ordered the product in June, was expecting in it July and it is now late August and I still have not seen the product. Starfire has not contacted me or been proactive in any way of keeping me updated of delays and estimated delivery date. Now the summer is almost over and no outdoor table for us, even though I placed the order in the very early summer :(

I got several emails with estimated delivery dates which turned out to be wrong. The shipper finally called me with a date that was correct. I shipper also graciously moved the pit to our back patio rather than leaving it at the driveway. However, just before the shipment arrived, I got an email that you were offering a sales price drop on the fire pit, reducing the cost from $2199 to $1999. I called your office to see if I could get a credit or refund on my purchase. However, I never heard back. If you could now provide me with such a credit, I'd be happy to write another positive review.

BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK because if something goes wrong with your fire pit while using it as a fire pit, Starfire Direct will not fix or replace it. But don't worry, they would be happy for you to pay them for another one! This is not a joke. That is actually what happened. I purchased a beautiful fire pit while re-doing my backyard. No one said anything about the finish on my FIRE pit not actually being able to withstand the FIRE it creates. Yes, you read that correctly. If you use the fire pit to create warmth by lighting it outside in normal elements, after just a few uses the finish on the table will burn off. And what will Starfire Direct say when you call about it: "Starfire Direct is not responsible for damage incurred from use during wind or excess heat; the full cost of repairs or exchanges for such scenarios are the financial responsibility of the owner." How do you like that - a fire pit that can't take its own heat! Boy I wish someone at Starfire Direct had told me that before I bought it!! I thought I was buying a fire pit, not a patio decoration! Don't usually write reviews but felt I needed to warn others. Do not buy from Starfire Direct. They are not honest.

The item has arrived on time, I didn't have a chance to tested it, but first impression is very positive, the thing is well built and fits my application perfectly. Hopefully it will work as good as it looks.

Very pleased with the consistent size of the rocks. Reviews about other brands often complained about the rocks being way too big and only getting a few in a bag or too small. Great quality control. Highly recommend.

We ordered a small amount of reflective glass to add an accent to our existing fireplace glass. It was faster than Amazon. And as advertised, the edges are not too sharp to handle which made sprinkling in handfuls of these pieces extremely easy.

Delivery is late. Still have not gotten the product. Hope it arrives….in good condition. Hope it just arrives. We may have to pay for the delays ourselves. Let’s see what Starfire will do.

I would NOT do business with this company. Be warned. I was guaranteed a fire pit to be delivered within 5 days. When I saw it had not been shipped I called. I was told, quite rudely, That they had a fire pit for Me but it would not be shipped for another week as they had to communicate with their supplier. It took almost two months to receive the unit. Curbside delivery when you live in a brownstone is boston requires coordination to get help bringing the unit up a very narrow staircase. I was called and given a day the unit would be here. It never arrived. I received a call from The delivery company telling me the drive - forgot! I rescheduled delivery. Yes them had to coordinate a mew date and time for my plumber to install. $1,000 later the plumber notified me a part was Missing. I immediately Try calling the manufacturer, the line was out of service so I called starfire direct. I spoke with a customer “service” rep. Who told Me she would Now have to open a ticket- another week long process- I then received a message from her telling me that they could Not get through to the manufacturer either. About a week later I received an email Asking for photos. Yes am away a good amount of time and was. Able to send pictures as I was not at the apartment. I called and let them know that. I returned today, immediately called starfire direct only to speak with the one of the most condescending “lead service reps” who asked that I send him Photos and explained their process to me yet again. I am an executive in an extremely complex industry and did not appreciate being spoken to like a child. Photos were sent and he came to the same conclusion that we came to a month ago. He said “I’ll tell you what o am going to do, we will take care of you- I will send you the correct hose for FREE” seriously. Yes requested compensation for a unit I have been completel unable to use due to star fire not having their employees follow the same procedures. He was extremely rude, beyond rude and told Me that procedure had not been followed. Already know that. He refused to expedite the missing part and then refused to let me speak with whom he reports to. He then, Steven , is his name, felt the need to remind me of his lead rep status as if he were the be all and end all units of this company. He then hung up on me. I still have a useless fire pit. Bottom line pay attention to the reviews. These people are crooks, have horrible customer service and are about the rudest people I have ever done business with.
