“I ordered on September 26th, on September 27th my first shipping label was complete. I tried to contact them to no avail on October 3rd. October 7th I got apologies and they said they would be sending my photos. October 9th my second shipping label was complete. As of today October 11th UPS doesn't have possession of my package.”

“Saw the $3.99 per tile price. Also saw the ‘ships within 24 hours’ claim. Beware…to receive that price, you’re automatically enrolled in a $29 /month VIP club. They take the first payment out - immediately. So really, it’s $3.99 per tile + $29. And be sure to cancel the subscription. Secondly, not even close to a 24-hour turnaround. Ordered 9/24 and, UPS is STILL awaiting the package to ship - today’s date is 10/2. FYI - I had a fabulous experience with Mixtiles…”

“In addition to the payment of 4 photo tiles, I was also charged an additional $29.99. No explanation was given why I was charged the 2nd time. I tried to ask for a REFUND of $29.99 by 2 phone calls, 2 emails and 1 online request on their website, but all was IGNORED and they never replied to my request. After over 3 months of waiting, I decided to file a complaint with BBB & AARP. This is scam. Because they got my VISA credit card, they charged me TWICE already. The last time I checked my VISA statement (9/29/24), there's no REFUND yet. I'll let the BBB & AARP deal with this scammers.”

“Beware! I ordered some of these and paid for them. Then all of a sudden, they took another $29.99 which I didn’t approve. Their customer service sucks! It’s very hard to get a hold of them.”

“BE AWARE OF A SCAM!!! I purchased photos from StoryBoard and one day later a $29.99 charge was taken out of my debit card and then exactly a month later another charge of $29.99 was taken out without my permission. The company name is StoryTiles with the same credentials as StoryBoard! I have contacted my bank fraud unit for an ongoing investigation.”

“DO NOT BUY! These are not durable or quality prints, they are on cheap foam board, you could do that yourself at Michaels for cheaper. The prints I got were not the same as I uploaded and cropped, even though the printed proof they sent showed the correct crop. Then even after requesting a refund I was given the run-around with them disputing what I'm saying, if there's a 100% satisfaction guarantee and I tell you I'm not satisfied with the product I shouldn't have to talk to multiple people and fill out a form, all while you charge me a fake "subscription fee" to try and get more money. Save your time and go with Mixtiles, the quality is better and they have more upfront customer service. Plus I signed up for a subscription and wasn't given any kind of log-in, that just seems a little shady to me.”

“Here I go again. I have written 3 or 4 times. My boards were so close it didn't even have one of the dogs in it. I didn't give you such close up photos but you gave me close up boards.”

“Ordered 6 pictures, paid 54.40 and in two of the pictures, one blurry and one cut off and did not place as picture sent to them , it was. moved to left, cutting off one face and making more room for aa arm in picture. This is the second time, I have ordered form them. First time, I had one of the pictures come out bad. The conversation was so rude with their female employee. I just forgot it. But, this time, 1/3 of pictures bad. Last time I order form them! Be cautious....”

“Don’t ever order through story boards! I paid for 6 tiles then when I went in to choose my pics…it told me my code expired!!! I have yet to get ahold of any sort of customer service at this point. I tried messaging them and emailed them..still no reply! Terrible customer service!”

“After placing an order I received a PayPal money request for MORE money . After paying this ( like a fool) I was told that only 1/3 of my pictures were printable and they would still charge me the full amount and I could choose other photos later ( mind you they were Christmas gifts). I was successful in getting all of my money back and canceling the order.. but here we are several mi the later, I just received a money request from them through PayPal. What a scam !! BUYER BEWARE”

“I've ordered from Storyboards a few times and loved it BUT when I received a 70% off coupon in my email yesterday I was going to order over 50 more... It wasnt til I got to 51,52,53 that I'd keep going back n forth from the tiles to the cart to see what my total cost was when I noticed the price was QUICKLY jumping higher! So I did a little basic math and realized y'all are charging $23 per tile😱😱😱😱😱 y'all crazy for thinking I'm going to spend that much!!! NO OTHER COMPANY CHANGES THIS MUCH PER TILE!!!!!!!!!!! Total rip-off & trying to deceive your customers in thinking they're getting more for their money in giving a 70% off coupon is truly disgusting!!!!!!!!!”

“The quality of the photos was 12 megapixels. However, they were super grainy and not vibrant colors at all. I previously had ordered mixtiles and I was very satisfied. Storyboards is not worth the savings at all. I emailed them that I wanted a refund and they said they sent a return label and they didn’t. There was nothing attached and their guarantee said you don’t even have to return ship them if you are unsatisfied. More than half of them didn’t even arrive on the promise date either. The people pictures look horrible. So grainy and pixelated. Their printer is awful. I am waiting to get the rest of my story boards which will probably also look horrible and a full refund. There was also no shipping confirmation or order confirmation email.”
