“I placed an order for an item that showed in stock on the Summit website. To ensure the order was received, I called Summit and was informed that the item would ship from the manufacturer as Summit had no stock. I then personally contacted the manufacturer and learned that only two units were left.
Concerned about the low stock, I called Summit back to expedite my order, and they confirmed it would be processed the same day. However, days went by without receiving a tracking number. When I called and chatted with Summit, they could not provide an update. Upon contacting the manufacturer again, I discovered that Summit had not placed the order.
Summit claimed they had placed the order and were waiting for tracking. They also incorrectly stated that the manufacturer could not confirm orders without Summit's internal purchase order. Three days later, I received a cancellation email from Summit.
This experience was a complete waste of time. I placed the order directly with the manufacturer and promptly received a tracking number. Summit's customer service is a joke.”
“Outstanding. This site had a bunch of options to choose from. One of the only places I could find the Fuel Wheels center hubs. Price was reasonable and shipping was fast and well packaged. There was a slight manufacturers defect in one of the hubs, and Summit answered my email in record time and backed their manufacturer's (Fuel's) part. They sent me emails and updates on the replacement got me the part faster than I expected. Their support seems to be unmatched in my experience in the auto and aftermarket parts world; and they have a ton of options on their site. Great website, great parts options, great pricing, phenomenal service. Definitely exceeded my expectations.”

“I received the 1 QT of Summit Hot Rod Satin Clear SUM-UP205Q that I purchased online. It was received with semi-dryed paint around the lead and in the box. It was promptly replaced with another leaking can. Since they cannot take back leaking products, I have to overpack the two cans of paint in a 5-gal drum with absorbent and deliver it to my local Hazardous Waste site at my own expense and time.”
“Horrible Customer Service By Summit Racing!!
I have purchased three of the K&N Blackhawk Cold Air Intake system from Summit Racing. When I called Summit Racing about the tube having a manufactures defect, I was told that I didn't know what I was doing, He then put me on hold, to come back and tell me that the air flow sensor can be installed upside down. I explained that it can't be upside down and that the flange was welded upside down, and that I need a replacement. NOPE! That is what I was told. Call K&N and they will explain to you that that it can be upside down... I called K&N 3 days later (I'm busy), the K&N representative instantly knew what I was talking about, asked if I had the K&N box that was delivered, I said yes, he asked for me to read him some of the manufactures details from that box, and he said, we will send you a replacement tube, should arrive in 7-10 days... No worries about the shipping time, I appreciate the quality customer service and respectful manner in which this representative handled the situation. Summit Racing will sell you the same thing that you can purchase elsewhere, and will not help you past that point. They take your money, send you whatever, and then you are on your own from there... I will not buy from them again.”
“Placed an order for $130, but their website wouldn't allow me to add a company name to the delivery address.
No problem, dropped them an email explaining, but was told they can't update PayPal orders.
I further explained I'm not after the delivery address changing, just the company name adding as there are multiple businesses at the delivery address - and their website wouldn't let me add a company name.
Their reply, the same as the first time - they will not even write the company name on the parcel before it's dispatched.
They're not capable of something as simple as adding a company name to an existing delivery address (not a change of address, just adding a name!).
Now waiting for my refund, I'll go to someone that can actually help customers.”
“Ordered something on expedited shipping from US to Canada paid $81 US which equals about $130 Canadian to be shipped. Tracking said it was going to be delivered by end of day Friday. Now it's not going to be till Monday. Very bad.
Customer service was garbage.
Email them. Spoke to them on the phone. Did nothing to help me out. I will not be ordering from them again.

“Placed order on June 5th, 2 month later, still nothing. Was supposed to ship that week but no. To my surprise there's a string of 1 star reviews on this company I thought was once reputable but not the case anymore. It's laughable how they try with these templated responses to defend themselves as if these one star ratings will disappear. GTFOH with your lies and scamming bs. Obviously this company is tanking and will be out of business soon. The fact they able to secure our money without providing the product using a waiting game of attrition, hoping we will forget about the order is scandalous and should be illegal. Most companies, legit companies, charge upon shipping and sometimes not until delivery. I am actually going to not cancel my order but rather report it as fraud with my bank and see about further legal action against them. Perhaps a class action lawsuit will be coming due to all these people being ripped off. They're breaking laws, no doubt and their time is going to be up soon. “Ordered a carb with the understanding it would be 2 weeks before it shipped. That's fine. Even if it was a week longer, that's fine. Got an Email stating it would be almost 2 months before it could ship. Too long. Called and cancelled the order. NP doing that. 3-5 to get money back. Well, so be it. 7 days and counting and still nothing. How come it only takes minutes for these companies to take your money but days, weeks to return it? Maybe Summit needs to stop sponsoring motorsports if they can't afford to give back a measly $511 back in a timely manner.”

They took 4 days to send I email saying they need to verify my card!! All info and addresses were filled out on website. I never had a company have to verify my info! “While rep was polite at (+1 330-359-1337) I ask for some options as there were a few,, there alse were an assortment of products to install and better than a grand worth of parts I needed and was able to messege jexxs and was offered 2 options , supporting part numbers , question I had about ceramic headers and hardware I bought as I was impressed with the service and if I can't get the summit rep to talk I'm sure if I had a problem that would be no fun to deal with.. it is just a toy I'm sinking 10 grand in so no worries, I have a way to work. Needless to say the 600 dollars in my cart I won't be ordering. These folks don't need your business so don't ask much of them. I founded the company I'm with 3 1/2 decades ago and I learned long ago for every bis that don't care to help you there's a dozen that will.
