Swale engineer performed "temporary repair" to my boiler on Sat 23rd Nov to give restore my heating after freezing for 22 hours. Have tried several times to phone but never get below 11th in the queue. Have sent 2 web chat messages but they are never on line. Have sent 3 emails with just an automated response saying they aim to get back to me within 24 hrs! Got a response from the last one asking for my address!!! Also no letter advising of my annual service this year. I have been a monthly direct debit customer for 11 years now but something has gone badly wrong with this company. Not enough staff? I have had enough now and having read all the other reviews am seriously considering cancelling my contract. I cannot afford to pay for a non existent service.

My 73 year old mum has had awful experience!! Called out as heating & water went off. Supposed to come within 24 hours. (Didn’t!!) Cand and supposedly fixed! Next day went off again. Waited over 24 hours in freezing cold again (It’s November). Same engineer, supposedly fixed. This lasted the evening & went off. Called out again! Maybe third time lucky!! Now not coming out at all & wil order a new boiler. In the meantime it’s still November and my Mum is without heating & hot water! 29/11/2024

My 80 year old father has had 5 call outs in the past month, 4 for the same fault that was not fixed properly. He's supposedly a 'priority' customer who pays a fixed amount per month to get quick call outs works he needs them. Two appointments this week for a new fault have been cancelled (first one the engineer just never showed) and the latest moved to... Next week. Pressure is off the gauge it's so high, and therefore there is no hot water or heat. It's been icy, Dad has very low immunity and is not well. Some sort of priority service that Swale run, eh? If they show next week and fix the fault, that's good. If not I'll be taking this further.

Didn't arrive when booked and paid for. Only let us know at the end of the day. The rearranged engeneer spent approximately 15 minutes to service the boiler, switched the heating and hot water on, said it will warm up and left, no other communication or feedback. Complained and asked for the boiler to be serviced properly and compensation for our inconvenience. Said they would redo the service and discuss matters. When another engineer came he knew nothing about our complaint and only came to check the radiators and filter. We explained to him what we expected and he left saying I will ring in, but it is no quicker for me than you. We never saw him again. The following week a Mr Little phoned 28th October, said they do not give any compensation for our loss of time, now 3 visits, but would make arrangement to have the boiler serviced properly. We have not heard another word. Don't use this company if you want a good service and not a total waste of your time and money. You spend hours waiting and trying to phone. We never got higher than 18th in the queue.

A total waste of time. It's below freezing out side and we had no heating for 8 weeks now. My wife has a nurse that comes evey other Wednesdays that has now said the house is to cold to put a needle in to my wife.and sit here for 6 hours whilst the wife has the infusion. My family all have children and carnt visit because the house is to cold for there baby's. 4 hours on the phone to only be cut off. Thay are a waste of time. Swale should not have contracts if thay can not do the work

I BOOKED AN ENGINEER FOR THURSDAY PM NO SHOW IVE BEEN NO 1 ON QUE ON PHONE FOR OVER 1 HOUR TERRIBLE SEVICE BEEN WITH THEM FOR OVER 10 YEARS WONT BE RENEWING

Awful! You can not get through on the phone and watsapp messages are an automated reply. No heating or hot water all week and no idea when its getting fixed.

If you live in social association housing forget swale heating you come last in the queue. I been 1 hour now waiting on the phone and still waiting Sheila

Terrible service. Don't answer emails or telephone. WhatsApp only gets delayed response. Engineers turn up in afternoon for morning appointment with no notification.

Absolutely totally useless company. Been with them for 10 years, never called them out for a repair, paid monthly for plan and three boiler services out of ten let down. DID NOT TURN UP. No notification and no call to explain. Always excuses engineer called in sick, had emergency call, one even pushed crumpled note in letterbox 7.30pm stating I was not in even though I had waited in all day. Only found this out by phoning which took a lifetime to get hold of someone. Heaven forbit if I ever have a breakdown. Do not use this poorly run company.

Impossible to get through to them by phone WhatsApp or live chat. Not impressed! Just want to know when an engineer will come to fix my boiler .

Unfortunately there is no option on giving a 0 score. Swale Heating have been dealing with a repair for the past 3 weeks. After several emails with different member of staff, several no shows we are still waiting. After calling their office for around the 5th time I was informed that no one had ordered the part, which explains the no shows. The part was supposed to be fitted this morning and still nothing. There is a lot of information I can add to this to show how clients are treated by Swale Heating. I have now had to inform all my clients I have who are using Swale to find an alternative company. I WOULD NOT USE THEM FOR ANY SERVICE.

Booked boiler service. Took a day's holiday only to have appointment cancelled 1 hour before arrival! Arranged 2nd boiler service. Took a day's holiday only to have appointment cancelled again! Not a very good service! And I'm running out of Holiday!!

This company took my radiator off one year ago still have not replaced it they cancel change appointments turn up and measure and hand the job to someone else and never gets done they don’t push the bell I’ve probably cancelled work 10 times for them I’m going to make a complaint.

I had a morning appointment arranged today (Oct 03) and received reminder texts yesterday and this morning reminding me so. Why have I logged onto the online portal only to see my appointment is now a afternoon appointment. No call or notification was given of the change, I spent the morning with a 10 month old baby with no heating because of the nature of the job. Spent an hour on hold gave up when i got to position 7. Recieved a call at 4:36pm to cancel my appointment for the second time. Thank you Swale Heating for having me sat in the cold all day unnecessarily as I was told not to put the heating on because of the nature of the job.

Swale heating. Arrange appointments for yearly boiler checks without confirming with the customer. When you try calling them they never answer. When you use the what's app option they take nearly a full working day to respond but not answering the question you asked. Then they use the sentence apologies for any inconvenience in a superficial manner, a meaningless way to seem like they are doing the correct thing. Utterly unprofessional and definitely uncaring unless it's a new sales call. Poor show

Absolute rubbish service- cannot get a hold of them, will not respond by WhatsApp, phone or online. Have been paying regularly on a Service Plan but cannot even get an appointment. Keep away from them.
