Their price is way higher than the actual restaurant menu for the same dish. Thry also denied that they overcharge when checked once. Zomato was a very good option.

Talabat is a joke. I can’t count the number of times they have messed up my order. Or the number of times they spill the soup or have forgotten items in the car and have to come back later. Today the app kept delaying my arrival time for 3 hours for my grocery delivery. 3 hours. And then they calle some and apologized that they had to cancel my order because Safeway was too busy and the app still shows the delivery is on its way. Talabat is a failure.

Worst delivery service one can expect from this Tauji restaurant in Hor Al Anz Branch, Dubai. If you are fine to wait for 2 hours for your food to come, then go ahead and order. After several minutes they will deliver you cold food and make stories of late delivery

Terrible service, I have no idea how they still operate in Dubai with such badly run service - orders cancelled after long waiting time (in hours) with no explanation, avoid at all costs.

My latest experience with Talabat Bahrain was very disappointing and unpleasant. I ordered from Texas Chicken and paid with my credit card which was a big mistake, when the order arrived the driver contacted me using talabat chat (in their app) he wrote one sentence, sir order is outside so I replied OK and I went to get my order but I didn't see the driver outside, I waited for 10 minutes and looked at my phone to my surprise the order was canceled, I contacted talabat customer service through the Live chat which was the only option to contact them and the agent apologized then he assured me that a refund will be issued within 30 minutes but I didn't receive any, the next day I contacted talabat again 4 more times but they changed thier story now they said because I didn't answer my phone the order was canceled and it is thier policy not to give me a refund, I tried to explain that no one called me on my phone, I just received one chat message but they keep lying and telling me that the driver called and the restaurant called but no one did, now they refuse to give me a refund.

Poor customer service staff couldn't even speak Engliah. After they cancel order due to their problem, they credit Talabat wallet instead of refunding the amount to card. This is ensuring they don't lose this sale. But their management does not understand business otherwise they would know its better to retain customers than get new ones. This will only drive customers to Deliveroo.

Bad service and bad quality food delivered to me at 12.30 am in the night...order from papa Murphy. Never follow the cooking instruction and send the bad quality food always

Talabat, in my experience, has always providing poor service when it comes to price, delivery, returns & refunds, and even their platform. Since 2008, I have spoken to countless managers, live chatted with hundreds of customer service representatives, and ordered thousands of KD worth of food. And not once have I had an all round great experience. There was always an issue. And when I did decided to complain, because I didn't always complain, I was never a pleasant experience. The fact that lately Talabat has removed a contact number for customers to reach someone is a sign that the company's care for the customers that have helped flourish the business since 2004 do not matter in the least bit. I wonder what they would do if somehow a new platform overtook them and over 50% of their customers stopped using their service all together. I wonder if then they would reconsider their strategy. I am appalled, disappointed, fed up, and every negative feeling one can think of with Talabat.

Consistently poor unreliable service. I have used quite a few times due to circumstances as sometimes my fav restaurants are using this app but it is terrible. Their customer service is I professional and all they know what to do is to say ‘sorry’ many times but cannot do anything else. Elmenus and a few other apps are much better. I will never use Talabat again after how rude their customer service manager was.

I have dealt with a rider who took off with my change, and had a non working number registered, I waited all night for the matter to be resolved, Talabat was not able to trace no call the rider untill late after noon next day, he did not bring change, he gave back the full 500aed, i reached to the point of emailing consumer services and the police for the unlawful act, i waited all day for talabat managers to call me but no one did, when the rider returned the money, he asked for more payment than the actual bill. completely unprofessional for a company such at talabat. to be honest feels like a scam company now.

Very bad support for restaurant portals, and deduction unwanted money for technical issues from their end, not responding/supporting/assisting on time, and also without proper info they are just judging the restaurants as a big failure where they have no rights to do so.

Placed an order, added the card for online payment, the rider showed up saying I need to pay cash. Card payment didn't go through for whatever reason, talabat contacted me and couldn't explain why, even though I was deducted the 1.68aed for new card, so it was definitely the right details. I didn't have cash on me and I asked if he can bring a card machine or collect cash tomorrow and they demanded that I needed to pay cash immediately or return the food. So I gave the food back but what pathetic service. I order through their app all the time and I've had the same address for years. Such a shame!

Unfortunately TALABAT IS THE WORST . The food doesn’t arrive hot or fresh sometime’s restaurant will cook bad or terrible food when they know it’s talabat or it’s an offer ! Plus since they are cheap with the delivery drivers most of the time the food is either spilled or has a funky smell because of the unsanitary bag they carry the food in ! In addition the prices when ordering through them is always expensive compared to actual restaurant price if we order directly and now they have a service fee ! I have no idea why they’re continuing with the app when they’re below average and as a customer I’m forever dissatisfied with talabat reasons are a lot and most importantly lately 3-4 times I got food poisoning wondering about how cautious they are when they add restaurants to their lists !! It’s unbelievably stupid & the experience is horrible sorry but they should shutdown better

The worst experience i have ever had in my entire life, been waiting for order for 2 hours and customer services won't help they keep saying the same thing to me which is ' delivery will arrive soon ' after 2 hours decided to cancel the order and i made a new one since i was really hungry and same thing just happened to me again , i would never use it again never ever

Greedy and unprofessional overall. The company was doing fine like five years ago and it has been going downhill since Covid-19 started. Expensive as hell, dodgy prices and terrible choices and now they are milking the customers by having them pay for service fees on top of delivery fees. The customer service is terrible too, the in-store credit is practically unusable unless you have a credit card, no choice for a cash only transaction.

What i went through with talabat in the past 5 months - around 20 cases and none of them resolved👇 1. Sexual harassment from delivery men, who tried to enter my house - twice. 2. Sending spoiled products, and when i ask for exchange or refund, it is being refused or simply ignored - many times, like every second order has wrong or sp­oiled items. Customer support promises to fix it but in reality i end up keeping and throwing the spoiled items. 3. Packaging - they send me items for food & cleaning in the same bag. Cheese, eggs & fruits in plastic bag with Clorox or wash­ing gel or fish, then all the items smell or get spoiled bec­ause of broken or le­aking bottles. Aren't there quality control for such services? 4. They ignore all the complains, when i reach out, never compensate or exchan­ge the items. It's super hard to communicate with the customer su­pport because they are incapable of reso­lving, and they have to create case. I have reached few times to the management team for customer support and it even worse - either they just reject the idea of something going wrong or they promise to resolve it and then never get back. Last my order i have reached to them repeatedly because all my order was spoiled with Clorox on food, it was the same response - we are here to serve you and will fix this, never it was fixed. 5. When speaking on the phone with the management team of customer support, they act really weird, close the phone when hear me speak English and don't call back, once i begin to explain what happens they speak in the same time with me to express their ideas - interrupting disrespectfully or they act carelessly saying that it's their policy to take 10days to review the complain (about exchange of expired items! How is that?) 6. The items in some of restaurants have higher price in ta­labat - doubled. When i spoke of it to the lady from ma­nagement team, she refused that such thi­ng exists without even checking it, she refused to check it even 😳 and it was never changed, so i had to make order from the restaurant with double less pric­es than written on talabat. 7. Delays in delivery, wrong estimated time and so on - these are minor issues whi­ch happening daily. Many of these things are illegal, how such company is still existing? I feel super frustrated... Is there any other similar app that i could use instead of talabat for quick market delivery?

Very bad experience. A discount was announced for an order with a specific Credit card I had. Although it was mentioned also on the page while I was ordering, the discount didn't take place, nor reimbursement despite 2 chats and reminders!!! I do not recommend this website. They're not serious!
