Teletext terms and conditions state that you can cancel your holiday for a full CASH refund if the country you're going to has an infectious disease. When i asked teletext online chat about my rights around cancelling my holiday i was told i would be liable for cancellation charges. I sent them a screenshot of their terms and conditions stating this and they continued to tell me i would be liable. Emailed the customer relations team to have my emails ignored. I then received an email from the airline cancelling my flight, yet when i asked teletext the status of my flight they told me it was still live. I told them i had email confirmation of the cancellation from the airline for them to still tell me it was live. After a few minutes i managed i got the agent to admit they knew my flight was cancelled, so they had just lied to me repeatedly. They are also point blank refusing to give refunds! Credit notes or rebooking only. Also after a lot of negative reviews suddenly positive reviews have started popping up on trustpilot probably from the call centre in india, as they have suddenly closed their london office and sealed off the letterbox. Probably so they can claim to be oblivious of all the court proceedings being put in place against them.Dreadful, awful and unlawful company, this was the first time id booked with these criminals it will definitely be the last! (If they survive after the way they are treating people)

Booked and paid in full in January. COVID9 affected my trip. Asked in mid March and they said my trip going ahead. FCO advised no travel but essential. Email from Ryanair saying all flights cancelled and did I wish a refund, yes. Uk, Europe in Lockdown. Teletext still say FCO no travel until 17 April. Rubbish hotels closed and flights grounded. Challenged them on this kept getting gemeric emails and told no refund only vouchers then credit vouchers. They are really bad. Taken down phone lines, generic emails and their head office closed. Taped up their mailbox so cannot get letters to them. Truly Travel their parent company They have closed down UK ops and sent them out to India. These individuals are taking the brunt of this. Teletext Truly Travel it would apepar are now positing fake review on Trust Pilot in response to the many negative reviews to get their rating back up.. Unbelievable. AVOID AVOID AVOID unless you want to book with a company if anythign goes wrong will block you and not help in any way. They only want your money. Be aware.

Horrible disgusting customer service rude on live chat, finding so difficult to speak to a human being, but now I've contacted my bank to cancell any more money due to them,now lets see if they contact me, and if you do contact me. Plz be aware you will be directed to my insurance company that are now dealing with it, my problem is not connected to covid

ONE STAR IS TO MUCH FOR THIS COMPANY“please avoid this company at all costs they will take your money not answer your calls or emails and lie to you on messenger from there Indian call center, i am taking them to court at the moment in hope to get my money back

Due 27 of march supposed to go on holiday! No holiday, no money, no communication with costumers. Nightmare dealing with them. Think very well before book holiday from teletext holiday!!!!

Due to go to Spain with my grandsons for a week on 12 April. Holiday was cancelled. I have email and send chat messages toTeletext Holidays I have not heard from them from 16th April. I was offered offered vouchers. No Teletext I paid by cash I want cash back. My Holiday on the teletext app has a whoop page for 2 weeks now. Teletext shame on you

Teletex offices at 2nd Floor Nucleus House, 2 Lower Mortlake Road, Richmond, United Kingdom. TW9 2JA. Closed mail box sealed up. Teletext have left. All operation now in India so as to avoid the Law. Collecting refunds but not passing them on to customers. This is theft.

Come on Teletext. Pay your customers. All reviews have the same automated response. Bottom line is ITS THEFT. Collecting refunds and putting the money in Your accounts. Not processing refunds. Its illegal.

Beyond disgusted. Holiday was cancelled several phone calls emails and texts later I decided to rebook for next year. Got through straight away on their dedicated (what a laugh) rebooking line on Friday. Rebooked a holiday paid another deposit (I know I must be crazy). Told I would get confirmations of my booking 24 to 48 hours later. NOW not heard anything and told they are busy because if Covid 19. Absolutely feel like they are thieves

Disgusting company that is clearly robbing people...my holiday was due to leave today I contacted them 2 weeks ago to cancel i want a full cash refund as I am entitled to along with a free voucher for my inconvenience and stress it is causing from being left with no money.

An absolute outrage.my holiday was due to leave today I had paid the deposit so I contacted teletext befor my final payment was due on the 27th March due to what we are all going through pls do not take the final payment as I have no means of income during the lock down they took it from my account 10 days ago leaving me in the minus with no means of income I have been told someone will contact me no one does and basically it feels like I have been robbed its disgusting this company has no compassion and should never have taken the final payment and once they did I should have been issued a full cash refund...the way it was taken from me..and a free voucher for my inconvenience during this sad and serious time its theft.

You have kept me waiting now for my refund and numerous emails sent .I have been passed from.pillar to post and still cant get a result.please send me my cash refund .i do not want a credit note and the airline are awaiting your input to achieve this .

I have been patiently waiting for someone to call me as my booking got cancelled because of covid 19... its been nearly a month and I have sent numerous emails and webchat requests but no answer... customer service team on the phone are very rude and don't want to help... All I want is my money and teletext holidays don't want to help... I would NEVER use them again!!! Avoid at all cost!!!!

I have a group holiday booking for 8 people for my hen do to fly on the 17th May, Ryanair have cancelled our flights but I've heard nothing from teletext. I have questioned them on Twitter BUT NO REPLY, tried to call every day for approx 3 weeks BUT NO ONE ANSWERS, PHONE GOES DEAD, email x5 BUT NO REPLY.. this is disgraceful and someone from teletext needs to contact me back to get this resolved asap.

I booked with teletext Holidays and was to fly out 8th March te cancelled the flight and have not contacted me. I can't call them because they have shut down their contact centre and when I did live chat every reply took over 10 minutes and was told yjey can't do nothing. Disgusting company. I will never book with hem again! I have told all friends and family. AVOID TELETEXT HOLIDAYS! !!!!
