crooks , the lot of em !!!! but I've had so much fun ringing with spoof holiday requests , keep them on the phone for an hour or so, then say bye, and insult them before hanging up the phone !!!! , such a pleasure winding them up, wasting their time and money , revenge!!!! a rare privilege these days , Wayne Perks has a lot to answer for , appalling way to deal with customers.

Do not book with this company!! I’ve been waiting 9months on my refund and every email sent is being ignored! Every phone call I’m told the month after I have already been waiting. Legal action has been taken upon them

Hi I am same has most customers booked holiday in good faith and still waiting for refund be on phone over 30 times and some times over 2 hours just to hear lies money will be refunded within 7 days but never happens I booked to fly may 2020 it is now Feb 21 and still chaseing TT748648

Ref TT710653. Still waiting for my refund despite false promises from this company.Holiday was May 21st 2020.Tellytext staff stated they cant send an email.or letter to confirm when this may be resolved.Also they dont have anyone else ie a supervisor to try and resolve this. Please don't use this company.

My Holiday was cancelled 23rd Dec 20, Teletext called me and persuaded me to rebook for 11th March 21, which has now been cancelled again, I asked for a refund, call centre fobbed me off said I would receive a call back in 72hrs with resolution. No call, I called today, apparently a support line, phone was put down on me 3 times, third person said i would have to accept credit note, which i said no, she said once I accepted the credit note i would be able to ask for a refund which would take 5 months! I called Jet2 who are the Holiday supplier they said if they cancel a holiday they refund the agents straight away! so where is my £3,000, if they have my money back, i want it returned, they are very quick to take it. I will never book through Teletext again, worse experience, they promised i would be Covid protected if anything changed. I asked to speak to a manager, I was told they were told not to put anyone through to them. Check out their complaints process website isn't clear! I booked this Holiday in September 20!! They might have been around for years, probably won't be for long, if this is the way they look after their customers. Customer service call centre are robotic read from a spreadsheet when they can't answer you question put the phone down on you what a Joke. I would rate less then 1, keen to take your money, without the service.

Awful company, I rate it minus zero. It is keen to take your money but reluctant to refund it when the firm breaks the contract by cancelling the holiday. The law is that a refund is to be made within 14 days of cancellation of a packaged holiday. My request for a refund were totally ignored. However, I did extract the funds via' cashback' via my credit card provider. To avoid or delay refunds this firm ignored my correspondance, used lies and excuses and issued a credit note that I specfically advised that I did not want. I would never use this firm again and advise potential customers to avoid it likee the plague. Find an alternative agent but vet candidates by reading reviews. Be alert for the ostentatiously phoney 5 star reviews that state " Bashir was so helpful". or "Minda was such a nice person" etc

Booked holiday in January for departure in may 2020 paid £1180 deposit, holiday cancelled by airline also Teletex holidays in April, contacted both airlines who advised money returned to Teletex holidays, lost count of amount of calls/emails sent regarding refund!!!! Just called this morning and told another load of lies!!!!!! This company is beyond a joke. Was on the morning news about 4-5 months ago with people complaining regarding refund. I know there office is based in Uxbridge so maybe better to head down there for some answers.

So we booked a holiday in May 2020 obviously it was cancelled due to covid. Teletext still haven't refunded us. But as we booked it on our credit card under something called section 75 the credit card have refunded us plus interest. If you have booked with a credit card. Use section 75. You will get a full refund. As for Teletext I will never ever use them again. Customer service is the worst. Money grabbers.

I am getting the runaround trying to get my refund .when they do reply to your email ,they tell you to send your details to another email address.i have 8emails put down to a draft cos that email is not accepting them.ive been waiting since may,I've been cut off on the phone4 times and written 3 letters we are pensioners at our wits end with this horrible company.

Will take court action against this rip off company. Holiday cancelled due to the corona virus epidemic late September. Supposed to go 26th November. Told them I wanted a full refund. Jet 2 as given them flight money back instantly. Have just been offered vouchers for half the price of my original I have paid for. On 26th January. Taking no more stick of this rip off company. Hope everybody else who's been ripped off by these dose the same

Hi my name is mr Stephen herbert,on the 18/10/2020 i tried to book a holiday with you.all was going well.i paid a £100 deposit. The operator then asked me to hold on for a minute.after 5 mins he said im sorry but your hotel is fully bookedand would I like to book another hotel.i said no and I would like a refund as you cant give me what I want. He said refunds can take up to 5 days, its now 25/1/21WHERE IS MY REFUND PLEASE. Contact me

I definitely give this scamming company zero stars.like most of the honest reviews here my holiday In may 2020 was cancelled due to corona and after dozens of hours on the phone being told lies each time by professional liars most of which I have recorded and numerous emails promising a refund by a certain date which doesn’t happen so eleven months later I WANT TO WARN you all don’t be stupid enough to ignore all the genuine facts they are SCAMMERS

Worst company ever!! Booked holiday last year was cancelled April 20, offered voucher- no refund, booked another holiday to use the voucher (expiry Dec21), 3 days after booking decided to cancel, been sending messages ever since no reply, tried calling spent over 6hrs on the phone each time over several days ..disgusting!! I have still not heard from them, nearly a year later! Holiday is due in March 21 ..

I have had many successful holidays with Teletext. I've been able to overlook the increase in price when you call up to book because of the made up "live price", as it still ends up cheaper than many other holiday companies. I've had 5 great holidays to Spain and one to Italy and I always swore I would never use another holiday company other than Teletext. But with how they have handled a refund of a holiday I was meant to have in April 2020 I am very very hesitant to use them again. When the going gets tough they not only haven't been reliable, they have lied and evaded me and countless others. I desperately need my money back. This is the last time they shall see money from me sadly.

This company has horrible customer service been lied to for months regarding my refund it has now been 7 months! And still no refund. They keep telling me different time frames which were not met and no were in 2021. Will never book with teletext again!

Worst company I have ever booked a holiday with! Holiday booked a year ago & cancelled in September 2020, was sent a credit note (which i didn't want) & was told to wait till 31st December & if unused I could claim a cash refund by email........ WELL after loads of emails sent & chatting on messenger I'M STILL WAITING! Was my 1st time booking with this company & now my last! Wrong what there doing! AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Teletext are the worst organisation I've ever had the DISPLEASURE of doing business with. We've been owed £1080 for almost 7 months. We've been promised a cash payment, for the entirety of this time, yet all we've received are lies. Fake payment dates, fake e-mails and fake promises. Not to mention that the original prices described on the website rise by the time you're on the phone buying a package. They may be cheap, but don't let that win you over. If your holiday is cancelled you'll never see that money again, and instead, you'll be fobbed off with vouchers. They're rubbish at everything except creating loopholes and mazes to deny you any service. If you insist on booking with them, make sure you do it with a credit card as luckily ours have pulled through and stepped in to refund us. edit - Just noticed my last 1-star review of them received a reply from 'Richard' who assured me that I would receive a prompt reply from some make-believe department. I assume it's make-believe as I never received that reply.
