Has anyone ever booked a holiday for advertised price from teletext. I don’t think so . They try every trick in the book, to scam people. How have they not been stopped by trading standards etc

If I could rate the service for teletext holidays as minus -5 I would. Once you have booked and they have your money they will not help. I will be righting a full review once returned to the UK. We booked a 12 night holiday to lipades in Greece. Currently here. The flights were booked correctly, however, they only booked us in the hotel for 10 nights. After spending 1-3 hours a day on the phone to sort their mistake out. They owned up to it on day 7 of our holiday, they booked us in to a 1 star hotel for the last 2 nights of our holiday after we have been and paid for a 4 star hotel. They have now and have said a moment ago that they can now not going to provide our transfer from this 1 star hotel to the airport, despite this being included in our package. I really don’t want anyone to go through what we have gone through on this holiday. We have twin daughters and it has been nothing but stress. I will be righting a full review and adding photos from this terrible service and hotel they booked us in following their mistake. Extremely unhelpful and would strongly recommend using ‘ on the beach’. Full review to follow on my return. Reunited my holiday.

From the very beginning, some Hindu tried to deceive me!!! Fairy tales told with Sarah the price and tons of offers for my trip !!!! ordinary scammers, I bought in another company and put normal ones as they were on the website !!!!

I did contact teletext for a few times of my booking but customer service was not helpful the placement was not were was book the self catering apartment was not a self catering,and I have to pay more again. they didn’t get back to me

Avoid. Still waiting for a refund after being told lie after lie about when I’ll get it back. Call centre operatives are poorly trained and don’t call you back or email no matter how hard you try. A disgrace. Just want my hard earned money back - as if Covid hasn’t cost us all enough already. If you read this teletext - please can I have my money back? Just be decent human beings eh?

Stuck in Spain. No transfer company was at the airport, so paid €95 taxi to hotel. I am emailing them everyday begging for them to send me the transfer details to get back but they sent me an email saying they'd already sent the info....nothing in my emails. Not sure what to do now. I will NEVER use this company again. I would advise anybody else to avoid. Its cheap for a reason!!!!

I got my holiday to Turkey cancelled last May 2020 they said they couldn’t offer a refund just another holiday. Which I was fuming but out of panic thinking I might totally loose everything I rebooked for this year May 2021 then it was cancelled this year as well they said I would get a refund after the date the holiday was suppose to be.But still waiting for my £2000 refund 😡😡😡😡😡 I’m suppose to get refund off the COVID Refund team by the end of This month August 2021 but I am vey pessimistic about it. Here is hoping

Have any one had a refund back from this company iv been promised fo 31st Aug also they were promising people money back 31st July hav any one had refund of them because they ar the worst company ever to get money they owe you back

Spoke to teletext yesterday to find out about a refund and that my flight to turkey is cancelled teletext said its still going to travel is 17th August 2021 spoke to tui who we are flying with told us it's cancelled so rang teletext again and again they said we still going even though its on the red list I said I have tried to book a trip to turkey though tui and it said no holidays to turkey till aleast September it's live while still on the phone talking to teletext and she kept saying we are going what a disgusting comple they are I was going with a family of 5 so not cheap I will be going to the ombudsman if I don't get no where then solicitor's please don't go with this company quick at taking your money and fobbing you off when you want a refund what a fraudulent company

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!! I only gave them 1 star as it was not possible to give less. We have been trying for over two months now to amend our booking, we have sent numerous emails to customer support and no one has replied, and made what seems like hundreds of phone calls to be left on hold until the line eventually goes dead. Their customer service is appalling and they do not deliver on promises made on their website This company genuinely do not care about their customers. Please do not believe the reviews on Trust Pilot and stay well clear of this company.

The worst company I have ever had to deal with booked in 2019 still waiting for a refund my holiday was £19,075 to date ive recieved just over £5,000 back absolutly disgusting customer service lie to you and out the phone down on you and trust pilot is full of fake 5 star reviews I don’t no why there getting away with that

do not trust them they steal money .any hotel they have in the package if you book separate and book your cheap flight 3 night 3-star hotel £775 but I checked in Expedia same room £400 and Ryanair separate is much cheaper Mr Sriram booked us holiday for Spain and we will go this Friday he charged me a lot, in advertising 3-day hotel and flight £170 pp but the middle of a talk he said sorry price went up £190 and before I made a payment he said sorry going up to £219 I was so long in phone and tired my mind wasn't working I said ok I just want to book but in the end, I recognise for a family of 5 he charges £250 extra he said for 10-kilo cabin bag you need to pay £33 with tax did pay and he didn't add for me I call a lot I didn't get anywhere.

Absolutely, disgraceful company. DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE SHISTERS. family holiday for 11 of us. A month before due phoned to ask what was happening due to Covid. Informed it was cancelled and would have a full refund by end of month. Never materialised and ay some point was told it is on. 6 hours on the phone over 14 calls to be lied to, promised return calls that don't happen, to be cut off and wait on hold for long periods. Absolute sham of a company DO NOT USE. I've now taken them to the small claims court. The absolute clowns.

Disgusting company. Full of lies. Promise refund within 14 days yet I've waited 12 months so far. Full of promises but always end up being lies. Would never use this company again. Strongly advise to avoid this company

TT780156. Like 95% of the reviews which follow, I am just another who had the misfortune to book with this company (Teletext). This was in March, 2020. The holiday was cancelled (Covid), and in July, 2021, I'm still trying to get a refund of about £1,600.00. Letters, emails and telephone calls are either ignored or diverted to music. I just feel sorry for those with bigger losses. Do write to the CMA. They are trying to take action.

Worst company i have ever dealt with. Holiday cancelled and waiting for refund. Cannot get them on the phone they put you on hold for hours then tell you they will call back, but never do! In my opinion these people are criminals taking advantage of people who want a holiday. They should be taken to court and prosecuted for their criminal acts of taking money and not paying back whats owed! We are owed over £7000 for a family holiday. There doesn’t seem to be anywhere you can complain about these people. My advice to anyone thinking of booking with these people please dont! It will cause heartache and stress!

This company is disgusting. There are no words to explain how bad this company is and how unprofessional they are. Wrote letters ,phone calls since march 2021 and they just cut you of. Had to cancel holiday due to family illness and couldn' travel, due to be diagnosed with cancer and having treatment. Covid as also delays treatments. They even ask for proof, like you lie about something like that. They just wont sort anything out . Owes me over £4000 pound. Teletext stand for nothing when it comes to customer service. They never answer the phone. Im sure they answer the phone if your booking a holiday and giving them money🤬 this company shouldnt be even be allowed to trade. !!!.

Agreed price, added an extra £240. Agreed on a price, continuously put me on hold for over an hour. After giving all of my details, the holiday was put through with an additional £240 with no mention of this what so ever. After saying I want a full refund, I was then told that it was non-refundable.
