I booked a holiday with them in Oct 2019 to go away in June 2020, it was cancelled in March one of the advisers told me. I was told that refunds would be made in Sep 2020, guess what nothing, I have emailed them 2 to 3 times a week since then and all I get is thank you for your patience. This company is abysmal in the way it has treated its customer's, I know there have been problems with the Covid but to totally ignore its customers is appalling. there is no excuse for withholding money that is not theirs. I would urge anyone thinking of booking with them to go else where, customer care is none existent. The management want sacking because they are the ones who make the policy's and withhold all payments owing to their customers this should never be allowed to happen again by any of the Holiday companies.

Crooks are perhaps the best description as regards this hideous company , how their trade body can countenance such illegal behaviour is beyond me !! ie a.b.t.a.or atol. Teletext Holidays ,illegally, took money from my credit card after the holiday had been cancelled. I had to resort to Law to recover the money-very stressful tosaythe least . I would very very very strongly advise that no one uses ,or even thinks of using this hideous company.. ountan

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!! If I could give no stars I would!!! I booked a holiday in August 2020 for a week at the end of July 2021. There was an error on teletext’s side where the wrong hotel was booked and the hotel I wanted was not available! Therefore my holiday got cancelled and I was told I would be refunded by October. It has now been 9 MONTHS!! I have CALLED and EMAILED MULTIPLE times!!! None of my emails were responded to and every time I called (which always takes more than 30 minutes to get through) I was told I would get my refund and told multiple excuses. My latest phone call I was told I would be refunded after departure date!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE AND I WILL NEVER BE BOOKING THROUGH THEM AGAIN!!!

Please do not book any holiday or anything with this firm they do not have any customer service whatsoever I'm still waiting for my refund after they've cancelled my flight and that's over a year ago avoid them at any cost please

We booked a holiday with them last year. Moved it to this year on July 8th. I have called and emailed since last Sept and they don't answer your emails and leave you on hold for an hour and half then cut you off. They owe me £1000. They did send an email last week saying my holiday has been cancelled but you can't get through to them or Ryanair to get any details. DON'T BOOK WITH THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

do not use as simple as that, con artists dis t want to give one star i’d minus them and then some if i. could iv given up trying to get £1126back. i am a pensioner and had to dave for a very ,ong time for that money.customer service it’s utterly appalling, the left foot does,not know what the right foot is doing they don’t listen. when you eventually, get an adviser they are very rude when they realise you want a refund and not to rebook never ever will i do buisness with these cowboys again iv accepted il never see my money again and they need. to,accept that i will never do buisness with them again and neither will any of my friends or family.the sooner this company folds we the better, do not use avoid avoid avoid

DO NOT EVER BOOK WITH TELETEXT. Unfortunately I had to give 1 star as there wasn’t the option of zero or minus cause that’s what they deserve. They are liars thieves and the most dishonest people on this planet in my opinion. They not only take money for your holiday but then also store your bank details until they feel like taking some more money from you. In my case a holiday paid for and then after the government announced no more holidays they decided to take another £2,300 out of our account without authorisation. We’ve had no correspondence with them since last august 2020. Holiday was April 2021. They ignore all emails sent and then you try to phone and eventually you get through to someone who has no clue what they are doing or even what you are saying.. they then put you on hold and then cut you off and that’s after they’ve told you yet more lies. I’ve been on every social media site to warn people to never use this company to book a holiday. They seriously need investigating. I have reported them to different organisations about their dishonesty and the theft of our money.. next stop the police. If this review gets taken down then that just proves they are not willing to cooperate and refund me our money for a holiday that hasn’t happened. Will say again DISHONEST LIARS and THIEVES!!!! The questions below are unable to be answered as they are a bit of a joke!! I have tried everything to get in touch to get a refund of £7,400 but you don’t respond to a single thing. The owner Wayne Perks is a con man. Any good reviews are self written and people need to look on social media forums to see the real truth of how this company operates. I do hope you email me after this review so I can tell you more details. My 1st time using teletext and definitely the last and is for thousands of other people.

Shocking 3 hour waits on the phone only to be hung up on ...emailed the CEO no response ..agents have no clue what they are doing ..absolutely shocking service the ombudsman needs to get in there fast

DO NOT book with this company the customer service or lack of it is shocking!!!They are a total shambles of a company and should not be allowed to trade. When your 1 hour or 2hr wait to get through on the phone is answered none of the staff on the other end of the phone have a bloody clue what they are doing!!! Emails dont get answered or complaints. Something needs doing about this company and fast!!!

I was due to go on holiday on 5th May 2920. My holiday was cancelled in the latter part of April. Today, 20th May 2021, I still haven't had my refund. I keep being told it will be soon. Soon never seems to come! I would suggest AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I personally would give 0 stars to Teletext. Booked in August 2019 for a 4 night stay with friends in Palma for June 2020, obviously cancelled, had one email to confirm this and like the rest of you have not received my refund, cannot get through on the phone, waiting over one hour, email do not get replied to, terrible company, terrible customer services, terrible communication, terrible staff as they haven't got a clue what is going on and never give you a straight answer. I don't know what more I can do to get my money back 😢 NEVER BOOK WITH TELETEXT THEY ARE A JOKE.

Carried a holiday over from last year because of pAndemic now can't get hold of anyone at Teletext meant to be going in June but no correspondence, even though they took another £200 out of my account in Feb without my knowledge paid over £2000 for Greek holiday. Don't know what to do. Are we going or aren't we,? Soo stressful

DO NOT BOOK!!! Absolutely shocking thieving sodds they are & will not respond to any enquiries once they have your money!! I’v been waiting for a 4K refund for over a year & all they do is cut u off or make up lame excuses!!! Still waiting.. 😡

My holiday has been cancelled (flight) so I've been trying to ring teletext 3 times now and each time I've been on hold for more than 2 hours,still got no answer but if I rink sales some one picks up within 5 minutes the only one thing they care about is taking your money. Disgusted in the company. Then they try blame it on coved for lack of staff even when they are working from home. They are really letting the people down

PEOPLE PLEASE DONT BOOK WITH TELETEX HOLIDAYS they stole my money £4500 THEY ARE THIEVES booked Dec 2019 to go away 2nd july 2020 Emailed numerous times Wrote to them stating i would take them to Court didn't even reply to any of my letters or emails sick of ringing they promise you'll have the money in your account by the end of the month never happens Just reading they say its down to the airlines No its Not I rung Jet 2 in June and they was willing to put the money for the flights into my account that day if i had paid direct with them but because Teletex had booked it the money would go to them They are breaking the law we should have got our money back 14 days after it was cancelled How are they getting away with it Stealing peoples money TELETEX I WANT MY MONEY BACK NOW PAY YOUR DEBTS I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH YOU AGAIN AND I KNOW I'M NOT ALONE IN THAT "GIVE EVERYBODY THEIR MONEY BACK YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS TO KEEP IT" I Hope when they pay everbody what is owed They go into liquidation People dont book with Teletex

Absolute joke of a company. They ignore all my emails. The people on the phone don't want to help at all. It takes 3 hours to get through to them. Only to be told someone will call me back. Yea right. I hope they get shut down because they clearly can't run a tap let alone a company.

If I could give no stars I would. We booked 2 holidays which had to be cancelled due to the COVID pandemic. We have found the customer service to be truly dire. After being assured of a refund we are still waiting months on. The customer service is very unhelpful (after waiting an average 60 mins to get through) often disconnecting the call when they didn't want to help anymore and not giving the correct information I needed. I have written complaints in which the issues where not addressed and marked as resolved. I will never use this company again.
