Never ever will use them again. After terrible holiday ending I make few complaints and never have respond back .

Teletext Holidays are beyond bad. In fact i would have given no stars if that option was possible. Their idea of customer service is to train their staff on how to lie to customers. Have you noticed that all the fake 5 star reviews tend to mention how helpful specific staff members are? Of course they are helpful (they are not trained to be disrespectful) but they lie quite convincingly whilst pretending to the helpful. They have been telling me since Aug 2020 that i will be refunded for my cancelled holiday from May 2020. I was initially told that it will happen in Sept, then i was told Oct, then it was Nov and the last 2 staff members i spoke to in early Dec told me that it will definitely take place by the end of Dec. One was even brazen enough to give me the specific date of 15th Dec. Worst part is that i received an email from Easyjet stating that they had refunded Teletext the money for the flight in Sept 2020. So Teletext Holidays here is my strategy, i will write bad reviews about your services twice a week on all possible avenues including on social media of course. Who knows i might even get a strong following from all the other people you have duped (let's see, that's a LOT of people judging from the genuine reviews). Guess what, we will be loud and direct. We all know how social media can be influential. Let's see who wins this game (because that is what you have reduced this down to). By the way in case you are scrambling to figure out who to refund when you come to you senses because the voice of the people will always prevail, my ref number is TT766519 (lead passenger - Anulika Nwankwo). Your company is unethical and needs to be brought to shame under the spotlight. Let's begin...

TT765725 do not use this rip off company been waiting for a refund since October. Had no response from them. Just look at the reviews. The only good ones are fake. Pass the word on as I have. Thank you.

Liars and illegal. Never use this company. They do not honour the ATOL protection. Waiting 4 months on my refund which should be refunded by law within 14 days. Avoid this company at all cost.

TT769498 I booked a holiday to Cyprus for a friend's wedding back in January 2020 for May 2020 cancelled 3 weeks before the departure date. Been fobbed off with every excuse under the sun not to give me a refund, was even told that my refund application was lost and had to apply again and told at the end of each month I call them I will receive a refund. They even told me if I use some of my balance to book a weekend break I will receive the rest of my refund in 5 days. This has put me off booking with anyone again and most certainly not with Teletext holidays. Lying to your customers constantly is unforgivable and will be warning all my friends and family not to use them.

IMPORTANT REVIEW.... PLEASE READ - firstly... I give ZERO stars Secondly - I have a very long story but I will keep this very short in terms of a review. I have had 1.5 years of HELL with this company. 1. Lied to me and pressurised me into making a booking very late at night. 2. Wouldnt allow me to cancel 10 mins after booking and then Ignored me for months after lots of emails/phone calls to speak to a manager requesting my money back. 3. Ignored every letter I sent to them special delivery as advised by CAB. 4. I paid to take them to a small claims court after they never responded to any letter 5. They wasn't willing to negotiate during mediation once court made them reply. 6. I continued with court proceedings and paid extra fees to take this all the way. 7. I won my case and they had to pay me back! Including all my fees. This looks short and sweet above but my god this was one of the most stressful times of my life. It is definately worth the hassle of going all the way to court with this disgustingly poor company if you ate owed money from them or they are breaking your consumer rights. You are protected by the law! I will add - The court case had to be moved to another date as teletext couldn't even get their evidence into court on time as per the order ( I even said to the judge... this is exactly the reason we are here - lack of communication) They deserve to be shut down immediately. Mentally tourchering me and scaremongering me for months and months is on another level. I am glad this is all over and this is the last time I will even look at their name ever again!! PLEASE PLEASE never book with this company. I know they are cheap for people who struggle to go on holiday as a family etc but i ask you to try and find the extra money to book wirh another company. One thing I have taken from this while experience is to actually pay more for aftercare service. I can guarantee to you if any part of your experience with teletext goes wrong you are totally screwed! The customer service behind them is utterly shocking and I would never want anyone to go through what I have been through. Good riddance to you teletext. Hopefully someone somewhere will shut you down sooner rather that later. The more people I can inform about your disgusting behaviour the better.

Teletext do not answer the phone. If you do get through , the word “refund “. The phone will suddenly be put down. I got my money back through my credit card otherwise you can kiss your money goodbye. This company will take but not give back. Never, never use this scam business.

Cancelled holiday and STILL waiting on refund of £3400 t797799!!! Been lied to, fobbed off, given fake email addresses to send to, cut and paste responses online, hung up on when calling them it goes On and on. Now taking legal action and reporting to all relevant authorities, bodies and individuals re consumers, trading and fraud

🛑 Avoid using Teletext Holidays 🛑 Nothing but a bunch of crooks over 7 months since my holiday was cancelled and Teletext still haven't refunded me. Emails ignored, lie after lie on the phone just to get you off it. Please do not book a holiday with Teletext. TT786235

Following a booking last year which unfortunately was cancelled due to Covid-19, we have been struggling since April to receive a refund but nothing has materialised. As we bought a package holiday, the flight had been paid for. RyanAir had refunded the flight tickets back to Teletext but they have still not refunded this, appalling for a professional company. I would never use or recommend Teletext Holidays to anyone again, they are a complete sham and shame on you for 'stealing' people's money. We had a pretty poor Christmas due to their unprofessional business stance and circumstances surrounding the pandemic. SHAME ON YOU!

If I could give less then 1 star I would. Been waiting over 7 months for a refund ref TT786090. Constantly being promised refund will be in my account in a month - then it’s not, another month - and it’s not, a week - and guess what it’s not! Constantly being lied to and fobbed off. I email the company and get no response, call them and I have been hung up on several times. Absolute disgraceful company. Not abiding by the law! Do not book with! They steal your hard earned money!

Soo soo rude!! I rang to book a holiday and was put on hold 5 times without being warned. I had to keep ringing back and then they’d just throw me on hold again like they didnt want to speak to me

TT787563 - DO NOT BOOK WITH TELETEXT!!!! Waiting almost a year later with no refund for cancelled trip, have been promised many occasions a refund just to be delayed further and people trying to sell me another holiday every week. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

Hello, I am so disappointed with the customer service I have received from this organisation. My holiday was cancelled in June 2020, I was due to travel on the 13th July. I was told I would receive my refund by the end of July, I was then told end of October. This then changed to the end of November and lastly the end of December. It is now the 4th of January 2021 and I am still waiting on my refund of over £3000. I have been told by message by refund would be in my account by the end of December. I have sent numerous emails, all of which have been ignored. I feel this is very unprofessional. The customer service department cannot help when you telephone them.

Booked a holiday with Teletext last year as we use them every year when we book holidays and have never had any problems. Our holiday in June was cancelled due to COVID-19 and we STILL haven’t received a refund. I’ve sent numerous emails and made numerous phone calls, and I’ve constantly been fed a load of rubbish, saying my refund will be in my account at a certain date but nothing. Every month/week I’ve called they’ve made the refund date longer. I will NOT be booking with this company again and this company needs to be shut down! They’ve broken the law regarding refunding customers. Unfortunately I have no other choice than to take them to court to obtain my refund. Absolutely disgusting customer service and disgusting company.
