“I decided to perform an upgrade for my System and Jack was very helpful in explaining various options for the cartridge and phono stage (2 items I wanted to change). I wanted to get next level "Audio Note" devices and Audiobarn had many options to offer. Also, it was a very pleasant surprise that I was offered a trade in for my old phono stage. Currently my setup is the following: Speakers - JBL 4429, Turntable - Nottingham Analogue Spacedeck +12" Space Anna tonearm. Cartridge IQ3 by Audio Note, Amplifier - Audio Note Soro Phono PP, Phone Stage - Audio Note M1 RIAA.”

“Went to audiobarn to listen to some atc speakers jack was very helpful and suggested the scm11 and left me to listen to my cd's for a good few hours after which suggested I try them in my system. Well after a week found them to sound superb no more bass boom and very musical. I am now the owner of some lovely atc scm 11's in cherry ' I found jack very acommodating knowledgeable”

“I chose to visit the Audiobarn because they not only had the Naim Atom on demo but, crucially for me, could offer trade-in. The location is stunning and the demo was a delight. I made up my mind very quickly with no pushing from Jack who certainly knows his stuff. I wasn’t planning on buying new speakers but the Neat Motive SX1 were a significant step-up from my existing ones and hard to resist. A deal was done, the speakers ordered and I took a new Atom home. Unfortunately, this developed problems and had to be swapped out. Jack’s support – including a home visit to set up the new speakers and replacement Atom – was excellent. The little system is still bedding in but I’m very happy with it as I am with the service from the Audiobarn. When I get the upgrade itch again, I’ll certainly be giving Jack a call.”

“Having taken my time over the decision to purchase new speakers, Jack made the whole process a smooth and enjoyable one. I had two extended listening sessions at The Audiobarn, in relaxed and very comfortable surroundings (and very good coffee!), and was able to carefully listen to the variety of music I had brought myself. He happily swapped speakers around to suit my needs. He then arranged the loan of a demo pair so that I could audition them in my own house, and I was able to have them for some ten days, well long enough to make a decision. Decision having been made, the new speakers duly arrived within a week, and the ancillary cables shortly after. The whole exercise was relaxed and very pleasant, and it was good to just chat with somebody who is extremely knowledgeable, but does not do the "hard sell". Highly recommended.”

“Jack was very helpful and did well to supply me with my Chord Blu 11 earlier than I expected. He was very knowledgable about the product and also very price competitive. “From my first call to Jack @ the Audiobarn it was apparent to me Jack someone I could do business with. His enthusiasm and ability to explore what I was looking to achieve with my system was a breath of fresh air after approaching several dealers local to my location without success. My initial interest in Audiobarn was with a pair of used ATC's they had available, though in the end I didn't purchase the ATC's I was able to listen to them and further explore possibilities and in the end chose to take a different route and moving from Naim to Devialet. Choosing the 220 expert pro over the 130 expert pro, using my own speakers it was apparent it was worth spending the extra and got the 220. Audiobarn has a lovely setting away from the high street where you can relax and listen to some interesting gear without having to be concerned about the parking meter, and it was worth the 2 hour drive! Thoroughly recommended.”

“The whole experience dealing with Jack at the Audiobarn was excellent from start to finish. Being new to vinyl I had a lot of questions and Jack was always there to answer them and offer advice. The Audiobarn has a great set-up allowing you to arrange different equipment and try before you buy. Jack went over and above to help me install the equipment and came to my house on several occasions to make sure the set-up was perfect.”

“When it came to buying a new system I spent months researching and refining options, at times going around and around in circles. I should have just picked up the phone and spoken to Jack, I would have saved myself so much time. A quick conversation resulted in a demo booking at which we listened to a couple of systems. In the space of a few hours relaxing, listening to great music in a fantastic environment the choice was made. Great advice was also given on cables, power strips and speaker mounts. Thoroughly recommended.”

“Having already left a google review I wasn't going to do another. However, I feel that it is absolutely right to do so in light of recent events. I bought a Rega P3 from Jack which he spent plenty of time helping me with and I was more than happy. However after 6 weeks it developed a fault that made it unplayable. I got in touch with Jack, who emailed me back even though he was on holiday and we agreed to sort it on his return. The replacement was ordered after a call to Rega by Jack and swapped over without any fuss or drama. This is why the Audiobarn gets another five star recommendation as it's not always at the point of sale a company deserves to be well thought of but when problems occur through no fault of their own. Jack is a professional and very likeable and is always ready to help. To this end he deserves to do well. Shop here you won't go wrong!”
