“I cannot say enough good things about The Farmer’s Dog. My dog absolutely loved their food—his mouth would start watering the moment I pulled it out of the refrigerator! Beyond the high-quality meals, their customer service was truly exceptional. Anytime I had a concern, they went out of their way to resolve it.
Sadly, my beloved dog, Bentley, crossed the rainbow bridge unexpectedly. I had an order already on the way, so I called to let them know the situation. Without hesitation, they immediately refunded my money and asked me to donate the food to a shelter in Bentley’s name—a gesture that deeply touched my heart. But they didn’t stop there. A few days later, I received a heartfelt letter of sympathy, followed by a card and a beautiful plant expressing their condolences. It brought tears to my eyes.
I’m not sure when I’ll be ready to welcome another dog into my life, but I do know that when that time comes, they will be enjoying meals from The Farmer’s Dog. Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and for going above and beyond—it truly meant the world to me.”

I was expecting a shipment about the time we had our latest snow storm. Due to the storm, my package was severely delayed. Without me having to do anything, they reached out to me and said, hey we noticed your shipment hasn't reached you yet, etc... They gave me instructions what to do and what to look for. And again, without me doing ANYTHING, they sent me an immediate replacement shipment so my lil sweetie never ran out of food. Top notch service! Thank you Farmer's Dog. Also, she loves it and I have a hard time keeping my cat out of it. Lol”
“My sweet 11 & 12 yr old girls have been on Farmers Dog for 4 months and they are doing great. They were over weight and have both lost more than 7lbs. Their skin, coat and energy levels have improved. They both love the food. It looks and smells like homemade. We love the packaging. It is so convenient. The customer service is A+. We had one delivery that got off course and when I texted the company to let them know that it didn't arrive they immediately responded and offered to send a replacement order right away. This was on a Saturday evening and they responded within 30 mins. I really have nothing bad to say about this company. So happy!”

“I do use the farmers dog almost a full year now. I will say my dog originally did have some digestive issues however I combined it this with an oat grain base mix. This fixed the entire issue. She has done very well with this food she will be 17 in May. The customer service is one of the biggest things that keeps me coming back. They truly make ordering a breeze. They easily allow me to pause when needed. I wish I would have started Jillian on this years ago!!!! Thank you so much for all you do.”
“Started my almost 13 yr old pittie on farmers dog and saw an immediate change in his poop, and his digestion issues are completely resolved. By his second pack I see a much more playful dog like he used to be before he turned 10. I was trying freeze dried raw food and that was working well but occasionally he would turn his nose up to it. My only complaint is it is kind of expensive. I could of never afforded it with multiple dogs.”
“When we got our mini Aussie at about 1 year old she did not like kibble so I ordered Farmer's Dog and she has been on it ever since- going on about 2 years. The portions I give her have kept her at the perfect weight - I've seen so many fat Aussies, I'm thankful I don't have to think about it. Customer service has always been great- they keep track of my order shipment and help out if there is any kind of delay. The only thing I struggle with is keeping the packets frozen when traveling.”

“My dog is a senior at 15 years old and before he started the Farmers Dog diet, he kept shaking his head.
The vet gave him meds for an ear infection and $350 later, the meds wore off and he started shaking his head again. After being on the food for a while, his hearing improved, he jumps high like he did when he was a puppy. The only sign of him aging is his gray hair…:) I love what this food has done for him!”
“Our little guy passed recently. He was 16 years old and such a sweet soul. I can't recall the date, but we started on The Farmers Dog because Henry had stopped eating his hard food. WOW, did it make a huge difference. My wife and I absolutely believe that this food added years of wonderful quality living for him. We don't think he would've made it to 16 without The Farmer's Dog. When we fed him, he would literally cry in anticipation and lick his bowl clean. The deliveries were always timely, well packed, and we loved the custom portions with his name on the package (nice touch).
After recently moving and retiring, our little guy was starting to have a difficult time and eventually was just not able to walk on his hind legs, though he still loved his food. Right at the point in which he was to cross that rainbow bridge, we received our next shipment. I called The Farmers Dog simply to cancel the subscription. They were so very sympathetic. Their kindness brought tears to my eyes, and they told me they were reversing the charge on the order, asking only that I donate the food to a shelter - which I did.
I told the woman on the phone that I had only called to cancel and not to request a credit. She said she understood, but did not want us to be charged and again expressed her sympathy. I was honestly floored by her kindness, and in the following days we received a card and a beautiful plant expressing condolences and more warm thoughts.
It is rare that you find a product that you feel so strongly about and even more rare to find a company that has unrivaled customer service. We thank you all for your amazing company, and clearly we'd highly recommend The Farmer's Dog to any dog owner. ❤️”

“We received our first delivery of Farmers Dog yesterday morning. I don't know who needs to hear this, but my 6-yr old, picky, finicky, skinny girl, Little Lady ate every little bit of her first meal last night. In fact, she couldn't eat it fast enough. She had to have all her teeth removed 2 weeks ago and we have been super worried that she wasn't getting enough to eat. We made her special meals, scrambled eggs, cheese, everything we could think of to try and get her to eat. She would only graze and would only eat when her stomach was growling so loud we could hear it. This is why we decided to give Farmers Dog a try. Just to see if she would finally eat a good, fresh, balanced meal for once. And, she did! My husband and I were just about in tears watching her eat all her supper last night.
Rayney, our pudgy 2-year old loved her meal last night as well. She is by no means a picky eater. In fact, she will eat anything! But, it's good to know that she is getting a lower-calorie diet to help with her weight management.

“Our dog, Sequoia was not doing well. she is around 9 years old and very overweight. She was sleeping all day and we felt like she didn't have much longer to live. We started The Farmers dog food in the middle of August and within a couple of weeks she was up all day. She is a totally different dog. Today she went to the vet and she has dropped six pounds. We are so happy. She loves the food and the treats. I would also like to mention that right after hurricane Milton, with trees down everywhere plus the flooding, they were still able to deliver the food to me.”
“Naomi, our chihuahua, loved The Farmer’s Dog food. She would empty her bowl instantly since we introduced the food to her. Unfortunately, Naomi passed away suddenly due to cancer, leaving several packages of food unfinished. The Farmer’s Dog company was incredibly kind and sad when they heard the tragic news; they refunded us for all the unused packages and allowed us to donate or dispose of the food. Not only did they offer this thoughtful gesture, but they also sent us a beautiful plant and comforting words of condolence a few days later. “I started my Chocolate lab on this food when he was 11, he wasn’t looking to good then health wise. After a few months of the farmers dog he dropped weight and was the healthiest he’d been in years. He lived to be 14 and even up until he passed away due to a tick disease my vet said he was the healthiest lab he’s seen. I highly recommend this food! It’s very worth it!”
“We had two dogs on our Farmers Dog account and lost one of the due to a tragic accident when he escaped through the fence and was hit by a car in front of our home. We were devastated and I reached out to Farmers Dog to let them know that we needed to remove him from our account and asking if I could just give our other dog the food from his packs. They responded and said how sad they were to hear about our loss and then answered my questions. About a week later, we received a beautiful potted flower with a card. It was from Farmers Dog telling us they were thinking about and how sad they were to hear about the loss of Tank. Talk about truly caring about their customers and going out of their way to show it.
